Love your stuff. Just some feedback: sadly the mat is such a colour that its really hard to see what's going on. Also; I would love to get to look at the paint jobs on the army at the start; that slaves army looks like its very nicely painted.
I really appreciate that you took the time to edit the report so that it’s battle focused with the removal of unnecessary idle table talk and down time. Also like that you are target highlighting the relevant units you discus. But one thing I’d request is to edit in some B roll footage and alternative camera angles, up close of your minis to help illustrate the skirmishes to the viewers.
Great BR, just found out the channel and I love the advance level of play and short format. Is painful to see a suboptimal StD list destroying a well balanced IJ list. I think IJ work a bit better with units of 5 brutes that go kamikazes buffed up every turn ( the problem is still get the distance in since they move nothing). helps to have 2 warchentar too, their buff is huge. Still, StD were way overpowered in many match up. At least they have no army -1 to wound now.

Nice battle report. Good looking armies. When starstrike hits an terrain feature the underdog can reroll the damage, not the drop position. Could have saved some brutes.
Great battle report. Any reason why they is so many unit in the IJ general regiment? I would be tempted to move some of those in other regiment (ex: ardboy with shaman) to avoid giving Slay to entourage to easily.
I hope Ironjawz get 2-3 more battle traits in the battletome. They really struggle against debuffs. They should have alot more ways of shrugging off debuffs. Instead of the Megaboss having 2 +1 to attack buffs, he should have an ability that ignores modifiers to wound rolls on a 2+ or something. There's such a lack of creativity in the design of Ironjawz.
Good report, gosh do I think Belakor is the worst unit in the game from an interactive standpoint. And apparently GW thinks he’s just fine bc he didn’t change a bit.
Sorry boys but this top down look on this mat in particular was disorienting. Might be good to get some model view shots during game play. Music was too loud also.
Personal feedback: I find it hard to see what anything is from the orks side, Maybe the tablemat is too dark, specially when one of the armies has black basing, S2D I can see well thanks to the white bases.
When you charged those brutes into the chaos warriors on the left that were in combat with the gore gruntas why didn’t you attack with them first to keep the chaos warriors from taking some brutes out and reducing your potential attacks? Or did I miss something that kept the brutes from hitting first?
I thought the same, the boyz could have stalled the krondspine. I have played IJ a bit and 5 brutes stuckend with buffs are enough to almost kill anything, but they have to attack first and are thin as paper in the enemy turn. I use them as sort of kamikaze to trade up.

Even as the StD player in this game I can tell you I agree. Less with my list, but Varanguard is one of my least favorite matchups in AoS, and has been for years now. Which is why I’m playing the “friendly” version of the army. That said, I do feel like my army got quite a bit weaker in the new rules…
Great report but the guys on GW are abit retarderad when they set the points. Even in the latest update non of the infantry got down in points which still make IJ hard to play. Their units are so over costed, reinforced brutes is 400p and shouldn’t cost more then 170 for 5 so 340 maximum for a 10 man units for what they do. Could easily cost 300p for a reinforced ardboys unit. It’s a slow units who needs buffs to be able to do anything. Don’t get me started on the cav, it has a hard time putting a dent on anything in the game and shouldn’t cost anywhere near their points of 180. Could easily cost 150 and you only take em becuase you have to have some speed in the army. IJ need a real overhaul. The big cabbage went down in points, maybe try to play multiple but honestly they don’t do much either beside Gordrak :/

Its nice seeing a mostly battle cattle list. They get overshadowed by chosen and VG but still have teeth.

It looks like you kept Crit 2hits on the brutes unit after turn 1? It only lasts the turn unfortunately.

Yeah, that is a tough one and on average probably a loss unless you can really get to the guns quickly without losing too many along the way.
Bro S2D is gross, honestly they do so much more and does what IJ does but better? Its hard to have fun with IJ sometimes...still a great report

The new book toned down a few things. No army wide eye of the gods stacking buffs, and you mark one unit per turn instead of all at once.
