Hey guys thanks for checking out this week’s report. As mentioned previously, we are still perfecting our gameplay and appreciate all of your help in getting things right! We ask you to forgive krondspine, he was just excited to actually make it on the table. Enjoy the video!
Greetings! I enjoyed watching your video and it's heartening to see new creators with a great grasp of the new edition already. I also like the double camera with the clear overhead view and the more personal side view. I think it would be great to highlight some of the key moments a little more, as I had to rewind to double check a couple of things, such as who won Turn 1 priority, and also the fact that the Ragerz tagged the Kroxigor with Mighty Destroyers at the end of the battle. Taking a little extra time to pause on such details can make the nuances of the battle slightly easier to follow. Overall, I'm glad I found your channel, love the length of your videos and I'm looking forward to more content (especially if it features Soulblight)!
Great report! I have mixed feeling about how you seem to have to play with Ironjawz, sorta avoiding combat and focusing on tactics mainly, seems out of character for them ;-)
In turn 4. The slann rolled a 2 for activating the place of power and took Mortal damage. I think that roll is made on a D6 and not a D3 so he would have gotten it and wouldn't have taken damage. But i might have gotten that wrong.
Kind of, but if you interpret the rules RAW like that then it cant even fly at all because fly only effects units and its not a unit. It needs a FAQ but the consensus seems to be that manifestations with special move abilities are supposed to be able to move into combat ranges (like Pendulum, Gravetide, Purple Sun etc).
@@umpac123 I'll go with it, I also think that the intention is that the warscroll movements of the manifestations let you end your movement in combat range. But what I don't agree with is the interpretation "actually the manifestation is not a unit at all and therefore its fly keyword is invalid". I probably wouldn't let this count at a tournament, since manifestations during the movement phase count as a unit. But yeah, youre right we need a FAQ :) The Manifestation rules are currently still causing too much confusion :D
@@Tooonoc Yeah you're probably right, the rule states that they count as being units "for the purposes of movement" (whatever that means) which could include flying.
Seraphon Taking the double turn from turn 1 to 2, you shouldn't have been able to select or score a battle tactic right? I'm still new, just wondering.
What are Nick's thoughts about using Zoggrok instead of megaboss? Forcing some mortal wounds in and helping vs -1 to hit debuffs. Higher fail chance of course, 4+ rerollable is about 75%, 2+ is 83~ %
bastilodon in round 4 couldn't redeploy and shoot for a command point as redeploy counts as Run ability, for the same reason you can't redeploy and countercharge. Maelstrom starts with 1 token
Covering fire is resolving shooting attacks, not a core shoot ability. So indeed you can redeploy and cover fire, however you can’t redeploy and countercharge (unless you have run and charge). Thanks for the comment!
Most cowardly ironjaws player I have ever seen, and probably the single most boring game of AOS I have ever watched. I get it, you played for points, but you could have played for points AND done some charges on turns where you really could have decimated the lizards. This game was far closer than it had any right to be.

Love these batreps, guys! Any chance of an army showcase on those Seraphon? I love the paint job (especially the Bastilodon and Kroxies).

Great Battle Rep, and super solid game play!
Fantastic editing honestly, you have my subscription here!
Liked and subscribed! Always love seeing another good AoS batrep channel emerge!
Once again great batrep guys!! Keep up the good work 💪

Great batrep guys looking forward to more
I love this channel - hope for a lot mor abbos. Nice to watch.
Awesome stuff guys! Your games are so interesting and well played out! One small thing I noticed, counter shooting can't target endless spells

Correct! I had 3+ in my head for some reason
@tommegens great battle reports by the way. Love the competitive nature and the clean play. Looking forward to lots and lots of content to come!
Sick Report
Awesome BR!!! 👌👌👌
Subscribed just for the Danish Team shirt ❤🤍❤
I thought the gravetide and the purple sun can't end in combat range of enemy units because of the fly keyword.
Liked and Subscribed to support ma BOIZ
That was an amazing game!!!
gooo dino's
Awesome nothing more to add ;)
Great betrep
Wouldn’t the Krondspine be banished when the shaman was slain?
Yes, we missed this one during the game.
When you returned your half unit of hunters didn't they need to be within 12" of your slann?
Yep! I found out in T5. Luckily they didn’t really do much 😢
Did I miss the WAAAGH being called? Other than that great bat rep!
Nope, you didnt miss it. Nick is just forgetful sometimes!
Awesome BR! Did i miss the second cast from weirdnob after he cast the incarnate turn 1?
You did not, just didn't cast a second spell
I believe the Gravetide's fly keyword prohibits it from ending its movement within the Ironjawz's combat range in turn 1. Please Tell me i‘m wrong :D

Correct
he didn't take it, he was forced to take it, so he could choose a battle tactic
I was given the turn! So then you can pick a battle tactic :).
Nice! Thanks for the clarification.
Bestilladon could not see shamman at more than 12 for the guarded hero

Haven’t given it too much thought yet since I wanted really lean into the brute buff spam, but it is an interesting one.
I will give it a shot!
Turn 1 countercharge was bizarre, why not just all out attack and defense.
Because he didn’t mind the middle being clogged up and the countercharge could give him a free move going into his turn next.
@@tommegens I think he could have kept the middle clogged up more for longer by using defense.

Is AOS over complicated?
Ja ja Canada 🇨🇦
