- A disturbing video allegedly filmed by other prisoners shows an inmate being stabbed in his cell. He was then dragged around the facility, and it was all caught on camera. The video that was posted to social media has led to further questions from the victim's family. Where were the corrections officers?

Too busy not doing their jobs and looking the other way and these jails wonder why they're constantly threaten with closures and hit with lawsuits from familes of inmates or the inmates themselves. Jails have only proven to make people worst than they came in, so much for "rehabilitation"

No matter how many layers of security there are people will always figure out a way to sneak in contraband. It just becomes that much more profitable for them. And it's staff/support who bring this stuff in more often than visitors.
Go look at the Ware Prison riot that happened a few years ago. That is a good reason why families make certain to keep their love ones with a phone. Even in this situation... No phone....no footage.

I was jumped and stabbed on labor day of 2022 and the officers did nothing for me at all Jackson is supposed to be locked down but it's open 24/7 they need to investigate unit manager walker that runs A,C,& E house he's working with the blood gang I saw it first hand

Dont blame the officers blame the system i am a former correctional officer for ware state prison when i left we had maybe 10 officers to watch 1300+ inmates. Per the SOP (state operating procedures) if the facility does not have enough officers to run the facility the state police would be called in if that wasnt enough then the national guard would be called in. This never happened and was the reason for the riots of ware state prison. I came forward but apparently Governor kemps office lied and stated i was terminated. I left on my own accord due to higher ups deception.

I just got out of this prison 3 days ago and not only is it not safe the staff beats u too I know the same cell house which was f that that happen in I ran from and hid for 5 day in fear for my life and they didn’t know I was even gone and the gardes treaten to put u in those situations and they also know that’s going on but do not try to stop it everyday I was there someone was getting stabbed in b house e house and f house and at night there is never any officers there I feared for my life everyday I was there and everyone has shanks aka knifes and run around with them the gardes will not help u but seem to like putting people in those situations where people can get extorted or the least life is in danger not from just the inmates but by the gardes as well there not there to help u at all I was scared to even got to them for help because they will beat u too the cert offices are the worse and unit manager Kirk knock out a friend of mine teeth because he was in fear for his life because we did not wanna go to cell house f and still got thrown in there an with in 10 min of being in there got jumped so who r u suppose to go to for help when dealing with gardes that beat u just as bad caption Kelly thank god moved us out after family called safe house number multi time cause we were getting beat and jumped because we would not give money because they were tryna extort us and if u no complie they would stab u at night when there were no gardes and this happened everyday I was there fox 5 if u want my story reach out I can let u know what really goes on I was released on the 17th this month
Facts I got out July 13th I was in F house and walked out in 5 mins bc the gate was opened an got moved to the kitchen. But I had came in with that dude an the other one who was running out literally only 2 weeks of being their, the stitches in his face was from his ear to mouth. I feel so bad for him no matter what he did.

First of all the prison guards are not leisurely standing around outside every inmates cell! And for two his in there for manslaughter, I can't even pretend to care!
Imagine if you had a family member locked up for stealing a car with the most dangerous inhumane individuals. To only be shanked for a honey bun or because he stood up for himself. Inmates be extorting money from people family members and threatening to kill them if they don’t send money. Correction officers can be paid off for as little as $50 and they be in fear for their own life. I’m a former correctional officer and that was a depressing job. You sound like a cold hearted person and would be perfect for the job. The difference between a lot of them in prison and us is that we didn’t get caught for the crimes we’ve committed.
