I used to do the chapstick thing with my nose all the time, it does help during dry winters! Also have done the teabag thing when I had a bad broken tooth and couldn't get into the dentist right away, so that is an actual thing lol. I do think the egg skin on wounds/cuts is an actual thing too. xD

@- Aloki - Yeah, unless you want to for some reason, I wouldn't go for it. Especially if you're not that experienced yet. There's a lot of responsibility and experience needed for using tampons

Yep, the chapstick thing does work (I use vaseline though). It doesn't really do much other than make it less raw to the touch and soothe it a bit, but sometimes even that is a win
I'm pretty sure this is meant to block allergies, vaseline commonly relieves allergic rhinitis, as it catches some of the allergens. Not that the video makes that clear.
Arrya I’m with you! I use the chapstick method sometimes as regular hand cream can sting like a… so yes it helps when the skin is raw. I do it less now when I changed tissue paper to the ones that have aloe vera in them.
@@DrCamburn really? I didn't know that, but I use it when I'm sick and my nose is rubbed raw, not as a block against allergies. Thats pretty cool though, I'll try it sometime!
@@Lena-tl7rz thx lena! And yea, I try to never use regular hand cream. As for the tissue thing, what brand do you use? I often use the Plus Lotion Puffs tissues, but those don't always do a lot
@@arryarhine Yeah it's something commonly advised when a patient has bad hayhever, although any allergies effecting the nose could be included. It's good as it doesn't interfere with any allergy medicine you take, although most of them are fine to combine to build a more complete treatment plan, so it's always worth getting a patient to try.
Kris made my day She always compliments us which makes my insecurity go away and makes me smile Loved the video Love you Kris ty for everything you do for us ❣️
Yes, let's rub sugar into a fresh burn wound, that'll heal em. You know 5 minute crafts would be a lot better if they actually tried to do the things they are suggesting. More entertaining at least.
The teabag thing can actually help a toothache, depending on the tea. That is, of course, only for until you get to the dentist. It just helps the pain, not the cause.
Also, the skin of an egg is actually super useful to stop the bleeding of puncture wounds - especially if you accidentally puncture an artery (in an accident, e.g.). You should still seek out medical care but it can definitely keep you from bleeding out
So, weirdly enough...the teabag for a toothache actually does work if the toothache is from an infection or abscessed tooth. Do it before bed, it works as a poultice and draws out the infection, and the toothache goes away. Idk how or why it works, but I can personally attest it works like freaking magic.
If you’re using black or green tea, the tea leaves have tannins in them that have some antibacterial properties, but probably the biggest way they help is that tannins tend to dehydrate the tissue there just a little, which alleviates the swelling just a bit. It’s not a cure, but a decent stopgap. Mint teabags can have a cooling and numbing effect due to menthol (something creams like IcyHot use to their advantage). Cloves are actually a fairly good local anesthetic, and have been used to alleviate tooth and gum pain since at least the Middle Ages. Source-multiple classes on medieval medicine, personal experience, the usual layman/general public medical information sites.
If you have a really bad infected tooth and eventually the pain goes away, it's probably because the infection just killed the nerve. Congratulation, you now need a root canal at a minimum.
The only thing that makes 5 minute crafts worth watching is Kris’s reactions to them.I would love to know who creates these five minute crafts and why. The only one of these that actually works is the chapstick one. Chapstick helps when you have a cold and the outside of your nose is dry and sore from blowing & wiping it. It also helps if you’re on oxygen and the tubing irritates your nose. The pharmacist actually told me about this and I keep a chapstick just for my nose but the rest of these 5 minute crafts are ridiculous. The medication ones for children are terrible.I could watch Kris judge them all day long though. She’s so funny and so right. Any day we have longer Kris videos is a great day….or at least a few great minutes in our day. Can’t wait for the next one!
Yo Kris, I’m a PhD candidate trying so damn hard to work on my dissertation while my entire family on another continent is down with omicron and I can’t travel internationally right now to be with them and help them through what has been a remarkably crappy year for us. I’m just here to say that on my worst days, you make me forget the horrible stuff for a few minutes and that makes a HUGE difference. Thank you and I hope you have a happy, healthy, and safe 2022. 🧡
You know, today I have to go attend a very sad event, and Kris, you just made my day that much better with that compliment and your amazing attitude. Thank you.
I used to have chronic migraines, I tried medications, at home remedies, laying in dark rooms, and anything else you could think of. I talked to my doctor and we decided to try a daith piercing because other patients had tried it and it worked. I got it done almost 3 years ago. I've had 4 migraines since then, I was getting 2 or 3 a month before hand.
Crazy but hey, if it works, it works. I know someone who uses Botox for migraines. It’s supposed to work really well but not nearly as cheap as a piercing!
the toungue scraping one actually works its recommended by dentists that white stuff is all calculus built up in/on ur toungue and its good to scrape it off
I have been so sad these past couple of days bc my 6 year old dog had cancer and needed to be put down and she just made me feel so much better shes so comforting, ily kris thanks for helping
Honestly, the fact that the little girl has a cold every 5 seconds is the MOST realistic scenario I've seen in ANY 5-Min Crafts video. Fellow moms of toddlers, you know what I mean. Walking petri dishes.
Yes they are. I'm lucky that my kid is good about meds, though we've only had to do Tylenol. But i know that at one point, medicated lollipops were a thing because some kids won't take meds
I know this is an older video, but I want you to know, that whenever I watch your videos on YT, Insta, Tiktok, you always made me smile and brighten up my day. I know you've had a rough time at the moment, and have poured out you heart recently. Cry when you need to, ask for help when you need to, because hun, you are important. Ignore your brain and remember you are important. I hope you feel better once you move into your new place.
The tea bag thing actually works. And not everyone can use tampons, I wish i could. Once a month I feel like I'm wearing diapers. I really can't wait till menopause
Yeah, I posted a comment saying something similar. I have PCOS so I literally bleed over and through the Overnight pads (the ginormous ones) within 2hrs. It's bad. And tampons just slide right out. It sucks.
@@Orion_TheyThem I’m right there with you, plus SA trauma has made it very difficult for my body to “allow” tampons and it’s not worth the pain when I would have to wear a pad anyway!
Kris really makes my day every time she posts🙏🏼 I got my merch yesterday! And the black hoodie with “kmk” on is SO perfect and so soft! My only regret is that I only brought one hoodie and a Riley Notebook❤️❤️
I am Dutch and I am watching your videos from Hungary where I live. I want you to know that you are just hilarious that I keep cracking up! I love it!!
Super glue was originally made for a quick battlefield wound closing method. It is surprisingly effective and since the cyanoacrylicate (sp?) Glue has nothing to support bacteria or viruses its surprisingly sterile. Pva glue is decently good at not having anything grow in it and should not be used since it takes so long to dry out and cure. Superglue is a staple for me in my first aid kit and crafts with the activator to let it set even faster. Its amazing stuff. And the solvent flashes off so fast that it doesn't enter the body
I was hoping someone would say this. There's nothing harmful about putting glue on a wound, although, as you intimated, I doubt Elmer's Glue would really help much, takes too long to cure, but superglue is dandy, and not the least harmful v
I like how the kid says no to the medication with her mouth open. Mom could have just used that as an opportunity to give it to her. For little kids my Granny would mix vanilla ice cream with a tiny bit of medicine. It worked. I have true issues with ice cream, but it worked lol.
Just so you know at 6:10 is a very common way to help relieve tooth pain and to pull out infection. People here in the U.S. can't always afford going to the dentist all the time so they do things like that to temporarily fix the problem until they save up for the real deal. No hate just thought I'd inform you and others just in case.
ive used the chapstick on your nose one before. The creases of my nose where the nostrils are gets really dry and flakey, I put chapstick on those spots and it helps with that. Basically a moisturizer. You dont smell the scent of the chapstick either.
These videos definitely helped me get thru detox when I was getting sober. Now instead of drinking I just binge Kallmekris till I'm laughing so hard I can't breathe lol. Love your videos Kris!!!

Kris made my day
She always compliments us which makes my insecurity go away and makes me smile
Loved the video
Love you Kris ty for everything you do for us ❣️
A little Vaseline on your nose before bed when it’s a little dry works really well.
The lollipop for the burnt tongue just makes it worse! It literally stings! 😂
Also thank you so much Kris! This made my day! ❤️
if you burn your tongue, I recommend icy water :D it doesnt get rid of it right away but makes it go away within 2 minutes
But you look stupid doing it in public and that was the point😂
It helped stop bleeding with my wisdom teeth. So i can confirm this is half true
Yes, my dentist had me do the tea bag thing when I got a tooth pulled.
Kris:YOU CAN GO TO THE DENTIST LAZY MF
I think that you just fried my brain.
If you have a really bad infected tooth and eventually the pain goes away, it's probably because the infection just killed the nerve. Congratulation, you now need a root canal at a minimum.
@@JustAnotherBuckyLover it's like oral gel
"Tearesa is trying to swim in the office sinK" had me laughing on the floor
I like how she compliments us and it makes us happy even if we just woke up and laying in bed with greasy hair-😂😂
Your explaining me life
That's so true
😘
Yep
I mean I was
The best video of today. Everyone should be like you Kris. Thank you for making our day once again
🥺❤️❤️❤️
@@kallmekris OMG Kris.....you replied. It made me so happy🥺❤
So true
I stay up until 3:00am just watching Kris she truly is the best
Yo Kris, I’m a PhD candidate trying so damn hard to work on my dissertation while my entire family on another continent is down with omicron and I can’t travel internationally right now to be with them and help them through what has been a remarkably crappy year for us. I’m just here to say that on my worst days, you make me forget the horrible stuff for a few minutes and that makes a HUGE difference. Thank you and I hope you have a happy, healthy, and safe 2022. 🧡
I hope everything works out for you! Stay strong!
I hope you feel better and stay strong and hope you have a happy day today💖
Anyone else love how she does this for us and makes new characters a lot and actually does the things we ask?
“I want my money back..”
“I know I didn’t pay you,”
“But I want money now..”
You know, today I have to go attend a very sad event, and Kris, you just made my day that much better with that compliment and your amazing attitude. Thank you.
i hope the event goes well (as well as it can) and if it upsets you i hope you feel better soon. sending well wishes
Woah I've heard of this but I'm absolutely terrified of needles... It seems worth it tho?
My mother got one of these and her migraines just became worse.
the toungue scraping one actually works its recommended by dentists that white stuff is all calculus built up in/on ur toungue and its good to scrape it off
I have been so sad these past couple of days bc my 6 year old dog had cancer and needed to be put down and she just made me feel so much better shes so comforting, ily kris thanks for helping
Kris is the prettiest person I know. She is so talented let’s be honest.

Scary things
Honestly, the fact that the little girl has a cold every 5 seconds is the MOST realistic scenario I've seen in ANY 5-Min Crafts video. Fellow moms of toddlers, you know what I mean. Walking petri dishes.
Yes they are. I'm lucky that my kid is good about meds, though we've only had to do Tylenol. But i know that at one point, medicated lollipops were a thing because some kids won't take meds
I feel bad for Tammy
She looked like 5 that’s not a toddler
@@seankuchenbecker5436 medicated lollipops are still around. Don't trust them, they gave my kid acid poops, ate his skin right off :(
Don't forget those first year of school kids, they will be the start of the zombie plague I swear.
less than a 30 seconds in and my days already better cuz of her voice
Glad I'm not the only one 😅
@@Orion_TheyThem do you use a menstrual cup?
Yikes.
Kris really makes my day every time she posts🙏🏼
I got my merch yesterday! And the black hoodie with “kmk” on is SO perfect and so soft!
My only regret is that I only brought one hoodie and a Riley Notebook❤️❤️
Yaaaayyyy❤️❤️❤️
Hi

Imma assume thats Doctor Mike she's referring to
He actually reacted to the same video so probably
I am Dutch and I am watching your videos from Hungary where I live. I want you to know that you are just hilarious that I keep cracking up! I love it!!
She seriously needs a makeup channel because her makeup is always SO BEAUTIFUL
Awwww thanks boo
@@kallmekris I agree with the Almighty RulerOfUnicorns! Please 🥺
@@kallmekris your welcome❤️ i love your videos so much🥺
Super glue was originally made for a quick battlefield wound closing method.

“Those eyebrows, they’re shaping your face real nicely, looking sharp”

Did you notice at 10:18 you can see that Terrissa isn't WEARING A BRA??! She probably cut them all up for her heels 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
@@billgirl777 Actually, Theresa is wearing a beige shirt.
I love the fact that every video she tells us something kind about our appearance. I don’t think she knows how many peoples day she makes❤️❤️❤️
Bushy eyebrow gang oi oi oi
She makes me feeel beautiful. - she gives me more compliments than my man’s !
Truth, I only believe Kris's compliments for some reason
ive used the chapstick on your nose one before.
Hope your doing well my friend.
:)
Take care because if your an adult with a child you can start to be an achaholic dad or mum so please don't drink
Hope ur ok 👍🏻

And the egg membrane on wounds is actually a thing. It helps clot wounds faster (CNA here)

The fact that kris always makes my self esteem and confidence better everytime i watch one of her videos is amazing
Her giving random names to them just makes it even more hilarious 😂✨
5 minute crafts does know that if you have to freeze something by the time it gets cold the injury would have stopped hurting.

I would be more concerned about the MAN in the WOMENS bathroom-
Not the lady washing her feet-
XD
RIGHT
As a fellow sufferer of migraines, I agree: you can't feel pain if you waterboard yourself to death 😂😂😂😂😂
you don't even need waterboarding to die the migraine will do it itself
i love it when kris makes names for people it’s so entertaining
I love your channel
Hey hey hey now Kris. No period product shaming here. This is a safe space 😂 A judgment free zone.
(Edit: My comment is all in good fun, for those who can’t tell…)
I have medical reasons for not using tampons, I physically can't. I know it was a joke so I'm not massively hurt by the comments, but I was a little put off being told I'm basically a kid or an old lady for something I can't help. 😔
