I’ve always liked 2 more though. I like seeing Ezio’s journey as he gets older, and the new people he meets along the way spice up the story. Also, Venice is a masterclass of design and it looks spectacular.
Revelations is my favourite, the start in Masyaf is awesome and the bit where you play as Altair aswell. Embers was cool ending for Ezio, also his outfit is awesome and Constanople is the best city in the game.
There's nothing to say about this game that hasn't been said already, it's amazing and was my first AC game that introduced me to the franchise, it may not be my favorite game but I hold it dearly and also the multiplayer, famn did I love the multiplayer I spent so many hours playing it and I wish Ubi would bring it back, a spinoff free to play version of just the AC multiplayer would do great I think.
Brotherhood is almost a perfect game for me; the one thing I would want changed is the addition of a restart from checkpoint feature. The amount of time I spent redoing the first 5-10 minutes of mission only fail the optional objective and restarting the whole mission again.
Ass 2 and Brotherhood had me thinking future games were going to be a full split experience with a past/present play being almost equal in what you could do.
I'd give that title to AC2 from what we got from AC1. 2 was a massive upgrade. AC2 to brotherhood felt like the same but smoother. My top 3 ACs is the ezio trilogy in order.
Yeah I think two really perfected the idea of how to make a sequel, but I also think that Brotherhood took that and ran with it and I do believe even though it's not my favorite AC there's a reason why so many people call it theirs. Brotherhood is in a really weird spot for me where I love the game, think it's fantastic, and have a great time playing it, but for every positive I can list I also wonder at times if it was a mistake for them to go so deeply into Ezio, because I feel like they had a hard time ever moving away from him and knowing where to take the franchise after him. That said, I am still glad they went that direction because I really love that trilogy.
@@abgaming3629 I like them. Some of them are frustrating but it makes you play differently then you would normally. It’s also allows you to be detected during stealth missions without desyncing, which is a major grievance of mine with ac2
4 did have it too, but you had pirate version. You could capture ships and sailors on your free roam and then they would be a part of your "convoy" and you could send them out on missions and deliveries. Upgading the ships by caputring new ones etc... worked like levelling them up. It was a really good take AND also linked to smart phones so you could do it offline which was awesome
Replaying Brotherhood now and just used the glitch to get rid of all my armor and I'm loving the pure robes only look. Hopefully Mirage is a return to the classic framework with some fun evolutions, instead of just throwing it away for half baked rpg mechanics.
I remember Facebook had a game that you were supposed to play alongside this it was one of those energy time games but I ended up unlocking a lot of really cool stuff through it
I’ve honestly played brotherhood about 10 times at least easy. I honestly never knew your assassin recruits have there own tombs and you could lay them to rest
I know this isn’t on topic but since you guys mentioned watch dogs briefly, it reminded me how the original graphics that were shown off prior to release are still in the games files but not active likely becuz the game also released on ps3/xbox360. But point is since the Witcher 3 got a next gen update that could be something amazing for watch dogs 1.
Damn talk about throwback 🤣I was in sixth grade when this came out and got it for Christmas and loved it. My first ac game I bought. Great times. But ac3 is stil my personal favorite

Same here I genuinely feel like the game shames me for trying to play it my way and I really don't like that. I made a completely separate video about it which maybe you already saw, but I didn't really want to bring it up too much here because I feel like I'd get in a 15 minute tangent where I complain about full sync because it really frustrates me.

Kinda disagree, Brotherhoods combat was dumbed down to a point of just doing chain kills with very little strategy involved. Rome was a pain to navigate as well and it introduced the 100 sequence sync that more or less shames you if you don’t play missions a certain way
See I hate 100% sync to the point where I made a video dogging on it but a lot of people told me they like that feature, but I hate it too. I would argue though that the combat here wasn't really dumbed down by chain kills because, at least in my experience, you could make it through the 2 prior games just as easily with counter kills. Now that issue is still here, and they did add chains so I can see your reasoning that it was worse from that regard, but I thought the issue of just countering to victory was an issue with a lot of the classic AC games in general too. I did love Rome though I didn't find that a pain personally.

Brotherhood is underrated. Feel like 2 everybody loves and the 2 games that follow it are just throw aways

AC4 had recruits but it was changed as pirates and the ship thing
