This is the best vocal on this song since Scott's original recording and I Love this song. It was my first Karaoke song when I found out I could actually sing.
To be honest....I didn't think I would even want to hear this song without a slide guitar part. Those sliding octaves a la Hendrix and Wes Montgomery...I love how you shake the bass note to add to the warble and motion of the part. You acoustic playing is stunning. Vocals with equal grit and soothing beauty. You are an amazing player and singer. .....we must be close in age as everything you cover is in my wheelhouse.

I've listened to this song thousands of times since 94 in different iterations by Scott and others, and you just put every single version I have ever heard 10 feet underground and covered it with concrete. This will be the version I come back to every time I need my fix of this song. Absolutely unreal.
