Wow, tons of respect man. "A car you don't have to race or pull up next to someone to prove anything, its a car you buy for yourself." You hit the nail on the head with the RS.
Hopefully this will encourage subaru to get their fucking ass in gear, they've been pretty bad since the evo was killed, and since they stopped rallying.
Lmao at all these people saying Subaru needs to step up. The Focus RS has the same performance figures as the STI, and that's even with the extra hp/tq, and better tires. Ford just finally caught up. In regards to rallying, please keep in mind that Subaru has been dominating Rally American for the past 3 years. So your statement is incorrect.
tyler lieberman so what if it has the same stats. It's ugly, got a horrible interior, doesn't sound like a subaru should, has an ancient engine and drivetrain, and is way heavier than the old versions. The fact is, I know many diehard subaru fans, and they despise this car. Lets not forget that the focus, is still a focus. A subaru should not be challenged by a focus. Not even an rs. The subaru is a decade old car with a face-lift. And that's sad. And just to drive my point home, a 2003 sti does 0-60 in the same time as the modern one does.
I have the Mazdaspeed 6 and it has pretty much the same turning radius as the RS. I use the handbrake only to due a 90* turn, and then turn the rest because I can't do a 180, I've tried. If I don't use the handbrake and u-turn normally, the car goes across like 2 lanes and a 1/2.
This isn't forza bud you can't just go ripping the e break in a 4wd whenever you feel like to get through some tight corners it'll destroy the drivetrain.
R. elentless I put the clutch all the way in every-time I pull the e-brake. I've read, that the clutch in w/ ebrake is only good for RWD and for FWD, you should just pull it without clutching in. The Mazdaspeed 6 disabled the rear diff when the handbrake it pulled, effectively turning off the AWD and becoming FWD. I haven't tried the no clutch handbrake, though.
I know I'm 9 months late, but I believe the reason this car doesn't feel like it falls on its face like the mustangs 2.3 is because of the specialized ported head done by Cosworth. Bigger ports = better top end flow.
Saw one of these for the first time here in Roanoke. It was the same color as the one in this video. I did like a triple take. I wanted to sit at the green light so I could watch it drive by, but it would've made the people behind me upset. I've always been a fan of the Evo and STI. Glad Ford brought the RS stateside. I graduate in 1 year from Radiography school. Maybe this will be a good graduation present.
I know you say you don't need it, but after watching you take your seat out of your Mustang on your snapchat to transport wheels I kinda think you do...
I know this is an old video but i last friday the 23rd of August i bought the same color 2016 ford focus rs. I love it. Going from my 1995 mitsubishi Eclipse GSX to the focus is awesome. I have more power and best thing of all more room! The day i bought my focus i drove it off the lot and did a 9 hour drive to my parents house in it with 0 issues i love the recaro seats they hug very well. The turning radius doesnt bother me.
Owner of a Focus RS: Ahh I think I gonna garage it for the value. Me: So... You save your girlfriend for the next guy to smash or you don't have one of those either?...
I've had a 93 Rx-7, 2 GTI's(mk5, mk7), 2017 WRX(Stage 1) and now a 2017 RS. I can say hands down that this is the most fun car I have ever had. The GTI's were also super fun, but this car is a whole other level. If you want the most fun you can have in a car by yourself, this is it!
I have a Mk6 Golf R which I love driving. I'd like to have an RS sitting next to it, as it has technology the R should have had. Great presentation of driving the RS on the street, TDiB.
I think I like the idea of an RS. 350crank, awd, possible towing cability. I'd buy a trailer to haul around my dirtbike, leave it stock until I pay it off (so I don't void warranty) than I can go big turbo when the aftermarket world explores the car a little more and more parts/knowledge become available.
I love everything about this car apart from the engine. I don't think it sounds that great, the 5 cylinder was such a great engine to have in the last ST and RS.
It sounds much better in person, especially in sport where it pops and gurgles. It's not an incredible sound, but it's not bad by any means. I'm with you though, in terms of sound, the engine isn't particularly special. If it wasn't tuned to pop and backfire it would be disappointing. Again doesn't sound bad, it's just not amazing. It's not iconic like an STI and doesn't have the soul like an Abarth. For whatever reason, that particular engine just doesn't sound great, look at the ecostangs, most exhausts for those sound awful. It's weird because the STs can sound pretty awesome if you enjoy the Abarth/tractorish sorta sound. I do think the car is a bit over-hyped, but it is also the first global RS. It doesn't seem to do as well on track as suggested. And it seems to have some overheating issues with the engine and diff. (at least from what I looked into) BUT, it seems like the best all rounder out of all the hot hatches. The competitors may have one area they do better, but the RS does everything well. At the end of the day, it's a car you can thrash and have a great time and then cruise quietly home. If it is going to be your only car, it checks all the right boxes.
I'm not a big fan of the shifter feel. I've never been in one, but I have driven an ST (which David said has the same shifter feel), and I didn't like it. I prefer a more notchy feel like in an Evo or an S2000. Other than that the car seems perfect.
no1ymfan1 I owned a Fiesta ST and now have a BRZ so I feel you on that. The Fiesta had well defined gates so it's not vague by any means, but the throws were excessively long, particularly the 4th to 5th shift and it was also very very light. Then when I got my BRZ I thought I jumped into a Viper, takes a lot more force to shift. Fiesta was my first manual too, so kinda turned my world upside down lol. I think a lot of that is because it's a FWD car and uses a cable shifter, whereas cars like the BRZ and I imagine the S2k the shifter is directly connected to the trans. My BRZ is much more fun to shift though, so precise and has great feel. The RS is still more or less a FWD car in it's layout (how the engine is bolted in and what not), so the shifter feel probably didn't change much, other than it being a different trans.
For the money, I don't think I'd buy one unless it was going to be my only car. That goes for all it's competitors though, I wouldn't want to spend that much on any of them. If I wanted a track car, I'd buy a miata, BRZ, or used vette or something similar. The RS is a hell of an all rounder though, so for your only car it does a lot of things really well. That and the resale value on the STs was horrible, not Fiat 500 Abarth level, but pretty damn close. Whereas my BRZ and Subarus in general tend to hold the value extremely well. I'm curious to see how the RS does...It's not really a limited production car as of right now... Plus with drift mode and launch control being standard features, I wonder how beat up used ones will be....
+CSmittyBurz I'm sure in terms of used condition they'll pop up like the Evo's and STIs. All driven hard, but unfortunately not enough are super well maintained. Be willing to pay a bit extra for one in good shape. From my experience it's worth it.
The 2015 and 2016 focus st have the exact same features in the interior as the rs. Nothing is different besides the stitching color white vs blue that goes for the cluster and 3 gauges on the dash.
BigKittenGaming22 hours ago Lol you forget the manual part to Something GM doesn't want to give its customers for the C8. What a shame that would be... It's all about the fastest lap times now because going to from Point A-B 2 seconds faster in your daily drive is what auto makers think people want.
The best hot hatch hands down! All depends on what you want out of a car, you either want this car and money doesn't matter, or you look at the price and gravitate towards other options.
+Dan Boyle idk about that, the new mustang corners very well. You'd buy the RS for the practicality, AWD and usability and still keeping the fun factor.
The RS is nearly as fast as a new GT. This point is useless unless the Mustang is supercharged. A regular GT cost around $40,000 if you want any creature comforts. I will go with the RS please.
Behind the 2016 Mustang GT, this car would be my next car. Love the practicality it provides, yet you could still have loads of fun cruising through mountain roads. Seems like all Id personally do to it is tint the windows, and maybe a little louder exhaust and its perfect.
I think it has the badest interior of all hatches in this category. I really wanted the car, but just because of that I didnt took it. I know many people dont give a crap about interior, but for me its very important. It cant compete with german interiors.
I don't know why he said it had a luxury interior. Please go sit in any BMW, Audi, or Volvo that has been made in the same model year xD Also i love the straight 5 but prefer the C-30 with 2.0 trim then the focus rs looked better to me but was slower
Dunno I have an Audi A6 and drove the new gen a4...it’s pretty shitty...the focus seats are excellent...everything else is avg but he interior is not as bad as folks like to believe. It’s kind of ugly but it’s not too bad
The Focus RS has a different turbocharger than the 2.3 in the Mustang Ecoboost. It's a twin-scroll with a better compressor. The RS also has a larger intercooler than the Mustang. That's why it pulls harder at high RPMs. The turbo flows better, and the ECM is calibrated to take advantage of it.
I'm an st owner and no reviewer has said this car is comfortable and like a luxury car. The interior is the exact same as an SE aside from the seats. Not a luxury car and many people dislike those seats
The interiors are nice but no, not luxury. My '13 ST3 has more than enough comfort and features for me but no one is going to mistake it for a GTI interior which isn't even luxury either.
Matt Farah mentioned something similar. Interior quality is about the same as the STs as it pretty much uses the same parts, but it's a lot more refined in terms of road noise and what not....at least so I hear.
Because in drift mode, 30% of the power is to the front wheels. So even though they can't turn as far as an actual drift car, they're pulling the front end in the direction that they're turning and kinda makes up for it.
I'd like to know too. It changed right between me loading my subs page and clicking the video. I thought it was some sort of trick at first, haha... Was the original title too clickbait'y?
Hell yeah! Glad you finally got one out on the street! Feels like ages since you posted the video at Carlisle Nationals. Now its a real car you get to see out in the wild. Keep the videos coming.
Let me first state that I agree with you, BUT, if he doesn't get out these reviews out in the fashion that he has been recently then you get the dicks that ask "oh David why haven't you been uploading as much? Is everything okay? What's with the lack of uploads and what not?"
+1 blue. I own this car and LOVE it. Just killed it on Track x2. Gingerman this weekend. So fun, so capable! This car was the only choice for me and I'm loving every second of it. It really has a soul of Let's have fun!! And I most definitely do.
If we're gonna talk about sleepers, I think the Mk7 Golf R is the bigger sleeper. If it weren't for the dual exhaust with the quad tips and the R badges, It would look like any old ordinary Golf. It doesn't have the wing and aggressive looking front end that the RS has. But, that's just my two cents. Great review and a great car!
The engine in the AMG has quite a bit of turbo lag (I've driven a CLA45 AMG before) making it less driveable when it comes to daily driving. It's also quite a bit more expensive. They both have their upsides and downsides.
I couldnt believe motor trend got the breaks to catch on fire after 1:55 of spirited driving........ Thats was crazy ....... Obviously we dont know how they were driving it......... probably riding the breaks like a grama....... LOL ........ even so That shouldnt happen though ...... lol...... I would still get one though .... its a sweet ride .... :D
the only thing in the rs engine that's the same as the mustang 2.3 is the crank. the rs had a head developed by cosworth the pistons and rods are totally different the block is different and the head gasket is multi layer with different water passages.
"Comfortable car"?? That's a new one. It's the very last thing coming to my mind when thinking of the RS. The normal drive mode is borderline tolerable, but the stiffer damper setting in making me want for a bra....
+Imran Agassy you think rs is better than evo....keep on dreaming let me know when the rs make 1000hp+ like the old 4g63 have done n the 4b11 already maked 1000
I never understood the point in buying a great handling 4 cylinder turbo hot hatch or something similar and making it only useful in a straight line. Yeah it's really cool and I'm sure it's a blast, but if your goal is drag racing, lot better cars to start with that will handle the power much more reliably.. (IE V8s) Yeah cars like Jasmine are amazing and probably are stupid fun, but how often are cars like that actually running? You can make a ton of power out of the Evo, but it also doesn't seem to last long when you're chasing the high numbers. Not throwing shade, everyone has their tastes and preferences. It's just a dumb argument because it assumes everyone just wants to go really fast in a straight line. If you're buying an RS to make stupid power, you're missing the whole point. Unfortunate that a lot of Americans don't appreciate how a car feels and the handling, they just want tons of power. It's partly why we never got some of the awesome hot hatches.... If you're driving on the street, how much power do you really need? Hell my BRZ is pretty "slow" and it's plenty to get me in trouble with pretty quick....
@2:05 1k miles in 26 hours... dang. When we picked up our FK8 Type R from Bristol TN and drove it back to Columbus Ohio I swore I the 370 down and and then back that day was nuts. That is one hell of a break and and totally awesome for your friend! It took me 4 more days after that to break 1k.
Great video, glad you guys over the pond are beginning to appreciate the UK hot hatches... my RS turns up mid october, being built end of month... can't wait!!! :)
I love how you reviewed the Ford Focus RS. I am wanting to buy either the 2017 or 2018 Ford Focus ST because the RS is just too expensive for me. I feel that I can also get the same feeling except for the increased speed like the RS in the ST Focus. I don't need all of that power just yet. I have owned ford vehicles in the past and my current vehicle is a 2016 Ford Flex Limited and my previous vehicle before that was a Honda Civic Si, which didn't have much power to begin with so I think I'm totally upgrading into the Ford Focus ST. I wanted to say "Thank You" for your previous video on the ST's and the RS's. I loved hearing the positives for these two vehicles and now I'm wanting to get one within the next 2 months or even sooner.
Love my RS in Maine winters and Summer New Hampshire Track days! Enjoyed the review but I will mention those are only brembo pads in the front, Ford’s compound in the back give up FAST
What's interesting though is the almost complete absence of engine sounds in the interior after inplugging the FENG (fake engine sound generator) beneath the trunk floor. It's amazingly silent and well insulated....
These reviews are way more better then VV... Actually goes over it knows what its about and not just sticker reading the numbers and features... good stuff david
I'm used to driving a Citroën C5 tourer. Though the turning circle has improved a lot compared to the C5 station, I doubt it's better than the Focus RS
Dude I completely agree about the recaros, so many people find them uncomfortable. Granted I don't have an RS but a 2016 ST. Being like 5'9 and probably 145 lbs I fit them perfectly with 0 complaints.
When my best friend bought is evo he drove it for 1789 miles in about 47 hours he never got out of it his is pushing 400 whp to all wheels and the car had no problem at all through the hard driving in summer with 90 degrees
Thanks for the review... I got a chance to sit in one last weekend and found it very comfortable. Wish I could have driven it, but I am enjoying my ST for the time being!
I have respect for all cars in general and, I’m impressed with this focus! It looks awesome, and it competes well against the veloster, Volkswagen hatch.
I've only seen 1 Focus RS in person. It was about 1 month ago, and it was in NITROUS BLUE. It lookss so nice. :) Was so excited when I seen it. I was leaving this tuning shop after I got my car done, and it was just pulling up. I see that owner will be having lots of fun with it. :D Such a great car. But I'd still prefer an Evo X or '16 STi. Just love the look, sound of those, and the vibe they give me. If it came to the Ford GT350 tho, I'd take that over manyy sports cars / muscle cars from this generation. And I'm usually a huge German car fan, so that just says how great that machine is.
My RS is my baby, I bought the car because of how fun it is to drive! I had other luxury brand options but chose this because I didn't want to own a car just to stunt on others and my personal enjoyment was what mattered most.
Even the regular Focus Titanium with the Handling package has an absolutely awful turning radius. I've read that it's an issue with the 18" wheels? I wonder if the RS is any worse because of the AWD?
Mazdaspeed 6 2.3L Inline 4 and Mustang 2.3L Inline 4 have been made in the exact same factory. Same 15 year old design, just refined and tuned differently. Same engine.
Literally can't wait to review this thing. Ive got a Focus ST review up on my channel, Focus RS coming soon! But great review David, you never disappoint!
This is going to sound kind of weird but under full throttle going from the 1-2 shift, did you ever hear like a plasticy pop sounds coming from near the left front wheel? When I drove one I couldn't figure out what the heck was making that sound each time I shifted aggressively.
So my question is... the mazdaspeed6... the MZR 2.3l turbo power plant... which is owned my ford. Which the has been said to be "related" to the 2.3l ecoboost in the mustang. So would you be able to.. yea it would be expensive. But i wonder how easy it would be to put that higher HP engine from that into the speed6 if i needed a new motor.
Wow, tons of respect man. "A car you don't have to race or pull up next to someone to prove anything, its a car you buy for yourself." You hit the nail on the head with the RS.
You need it. You need all the cars.
Subaru needs to step up
ford made a better sti than they did lol

What do you think of the focus RS?
Better watch out sti
Amazing I want one someone at my auto school has you he got the blue one its soooo beautiful
Sponge Bob voice : " I don't need it"
It's in the 35k-40k price range
My Camaro has drift mode on 100% of the time. Sending 100% of power to the rear wheels all the time 😂
It's nice to see our American brethren enjoying the "RS" brand. We've had them in Europe for decades.
Enjoy !
Janjua __ thank you! We have also been very jealous the whole time. Especially when comparing the 80’s escorts to yours over there.
Who needs a turning radius when u got an e break 😄

sadly the entire focus line has no turning radius
Big dundee who needs an e brake when you have drift mode
I'm patiently waiting for the deprecation factor to kick in.
swedishvolvo don't mean to sink your ship...but judging by the previous generation of focus rs's they don't deprecated
swedishvolvo German cars deprecate well either
Ricardo Aguayo same in washington state.
It’s time ...
mike b I gave up on the RS because I was able to get a brand new ST2 for 25,600. Dealer even threw in the carbon fiber trim
I never thought I'd say this but I kinda want a focus rs!

You know it's a win when regular car reviews and David both review this car in the same week!
Owner of a Focus RS: Ahh I think I gonna garage it for the value.
Me: So... You save your girlfriend for the next guy to smash or you don't have one of those either?...
You mentioned the evo interior. **Triggered**

1,000 fucking miles in one day??? How the fuck?
It's crazy but I drove over two thousand miles from Ohio to Cali in exactly 48 hours so it's possible just really hard.

I managed to hit 30k miles in 2 moths

I commute 1,000 miles a month.
I love how amazing the video production and editing is on this channel

When i was just watching the motor trend head 2 head of this car. AND OMG THAT INTRO DAVID. JUST INCREDIBLE
When the next 240 update?
When he gets the ecu
^what he said. stock ECU isn't doing fuel management right.
I know that. But when should he be getting the ecu in and ready to make the video. I was wondering that.

So glad to see the vids rolling in at the moment! Good job, David, glad that you've got back in the business again!

More EVO REVIEWS DAVID!! WE MISS THEM
every car is different... he hasnt done another supra ever since tho
we need as many evo and STI reviews as he has mustang reviews
The best hot hatch hands down!
All depends on what you want out of a car, you either want this car and money doesn't matter, or you look at the price and gravitate towards other options.
It lives up to the hype but I cannot get myself to drop that kind of money on a Focus. I can get a Mustang GT and supercharge it for that price.
that's exactly what I said. my 2 year old stang was 17k cheaper than a new rs at the dealer..
These are two different kinds of cars though. If you want straight line, the GT is a better choice. If you like the twisties, its the RS.
That's way to much. My golf 7R HGP would smoke this car.
AlexV. RCH Same, that and the 4 cylinder. They should've stayed with the Volvo 5.
I don't know why he said it had a luxury interior. Please go sit in any BMW, Audi, or Volvo that has been made in the same model year xD
Also i love the straight 5 but prefer the C-30 with 2.0 trim then the focus rs looked better to me but was slower
Dunno I have an Audi A6 and drove the new gen a4...it’s pretty shitty...the focus seats are excellent...everything else is avg but he interior is not as bad as folks like to believe.
It’s kind of ugly but it’s not too bad
I know it’s a ford USA or world design, but it’s technically a German car (RS).
"Worst". Badest isn't a word, and baddest is generally used to describe something as good (ironically enough).
Interior quality is about the same as the STs as it pretty much uses the same parts, but it's a lot more refined in terms of road noise and what not....at least so I hear.
i own an st as well. its not the same interior unless you have the leather. mine is cloth (st1)
J Densley Well yes, that goes without saying. I have the ST3 and I've been in a RS and they're very similar.
I'm 6ft 3in tall and 285lbs. I have a 2017 stealth gray rs with the rs2. And I love it.
Why would anything with that horrid of a turning radius have a drift mode?
Because in drift mode, 30% of the power is to the front wheels. So even though they can't turn as far as an actual drift car, they're pulling the front end in the direction that they're turning and kinda makes up for it.
also drift cars have knuckles that angle upwards of 70 degrees to either side, know much?
but either way half of us cant afford it. broke much?
do u have a instagram?
"Instagram? No, I'm too old for that stuff which explains how I can afford one."
I'll remember that one!
found you from TJs channel, I'm glad I did! loved this review, being that I have an RS my self. can't wait to watch the rest of your videos brotha!
why did you change the title?
I'd like to know too. It changed right between me loading my subs page and clicking the video. I thought it was some sort of trick at first, haha... Was the original title too clickbait'y?
+John Kuzma I think he was just getting a ton of shit for the original title
I think it gave off the notion that the RS was a bad car that didn't live up to the hype. In any case, it didn't match the tone of the video.
He changed it back!
Hell yeah! Glad you finally got one out on the street! Feels like ages since you posted the video at Carlisle Nationals. Now its a real car you get to see out in the wild. Keep the videos coming.
Aren't you working a bit to hard David? You're pumping out these review like a factory! Don't work yourself to death!
Let me first state that I agree with you, BUT, if he doesn't get out these reviews out in the fashion that he has been recently then you get the dicks that ask "oh David why haven't you been uploading as much? Is everything okay? What's with the lack of uploads and what not?"
NormileGuy There must be a somewhere in between.
This is also how he pays the bills.
Don't get me wrong I love Ford RS's but this gen isn't really to my fancy... If I were getting a brand new hot hatch I'd get an A45 AMG
The engine in the AMG has quite a bit of turbo lag (I've driven a CLA45 AMG before) making it less driveable when it comes to daily driving. It's also quite a bit more expensive. They both have their upsides and downsides.
Renard Soro personally I just think ford has fucked up the RS heritage with this car
yeah, spend the extra $30k lol
£10k more
+Luke Kindred price and class wise, you cannot compare. You're stepping up an entire $10k. That makes a massive difference. Get real dude.
is there a link to the video? or was it an article on their site?
Joeeeeee
it's on the TH-cam channel I believe pretty recent
the motor trend TH-cam channel that is
+JoeGo101 hey joe
you need to review a tuned mk7 golf R
This is very much like the Volvo s60r to me. It sounds cool. Has a good motor. Good brakes. Good 6-speed manual. And also a terrible turning radius.
1k miles in a day?? Jesus man that's insane lmao
I've done 1500 miles in one day and that was fucking brutal. Never again lol.
the only thing in the rs engine that's the same as the mustang 2.3 is the crank. the rs had a head developed by cosworth the pistons and rods are totally different the block is different and the head gasket is multi layer with different water passages.
"Comfortable car"?? That's a new one. It's the very last thing coming to my mind when thinking of the RS. The normal drive mode is borderline tolerable, but the stiffer damper setting in making me want for a bra....
The 2015 and up focus st with the st3 package has the exact same interior as the rs
Yeah we do and it's so beautiful to ride in every day! I love my 2015 st3.
We never landed on the moon!
I honestly don't think there's anything wrong with the RS. It's just another great competitor to the Evo and the WRX or STi
Claimed an RS can put down a quarter mile in 13 seconds.....Welcome to 2004 with an STI and Evos haha
+Imran Agassy you think rs is better than evo....keep on dreaming let me know when the rs make 1000hp+ like the old 4g63 have done n the 4b11 already maked 1000
That's such a lame ass remark. nobody gives a fuck. It's 2016 now evos are discontinued and STIs blow ring lands.
+Ashesofthewake LOG 😂😂😂
CSmittyBurz don't talk shit about Jasmine! 😡
STI killer
Great video, glad you guys over the pond are beginning to appreciate the UK hot hatches... my RS turns up mid october, being built end of month... can't wait!!! :)
For that money Id get an audi s4 3.0 tfsi...
indeed...
+Champs HD or an e92 m3, vette gs etc..
That is not the same money. The S4 is $10,000 more.
S4s r so expensive
No idea where you live but s4 cost way more where I live than this car fully equipped an marked up.
This is more powerful, better looking and here in Australia, cheaper than both STI's and evos. It's a no brainer for me.
The only annoying thing about the RS and ST is the fact that it's an overrated fanboy car just like WRXs, STIs, mustangs, etc...
Gooby Goob and anything Honda don't forget that
Wrong
there are quite a few differences in this 2.3l from the mustang 2.3. cosworth head, different turbo, forged components
I'd rather own a "POS" Ford than an ugly german hatch any day
sameee
:D
Bet you wouldn't say that if someone offered a Golf R to trade with your Mustang V6 lmao
***** I traded it for a gt
Erfahn H Good man
I love how you reviewed the Ford Focus RS.
Ugly, cheap interior. I'll wait for the civic R
Chris B rice af from factory ugly ass shitvic
Civic R is FWD fucking lol
Love my RS in Maine winters and Summer New Hampshire Track days! Enjoyed the review but I will mention those are only brembo pads in the front, Ford’s compound in the back give up FAST
What's interesting though is the almost complete absence of engine sounds in the interior after inplugging the FENG (fake engine sound generator) beneath the trunk floor. It's amazingly silent and well insulated....
I own a 2017 nitrous blue rs and I absolutely love it. Only has 2k miles but I enjoy it
"Brakes by Ford used to be..... Not good"
Haha loving it !!!
To any RS owners who have owned an STI. How does it compare in the fun factor? Does the RS pull after 4k like the STI does? Or is it more gradual?
chillest review of this car youll see on youtube
My Dad and I have been binge watching rs videos since he bought his, going to get it in the morning so stoked!
I really want one of these! I have the FK8 and now i want a RS.
Luv the RS and I really want that rear bumper for my ST. I just cant see spending 40k on a RS.
It's worth it.
Dude I completely agree about the recaros, so many people find them uncomfortable. Granted I don't have an RS but a 2016 ST. Being like 5'9 and probably 145 lbs I fit them perfectly with 0 complaints.
I saw this car driving through Atlanta on Wednesday! Awesome paint color!
I lol'd at the turning radius bit. I drive a truck with a crew cab and long bed. I literally need 3 lanes to do a U-Turn.
I definitely drove my 2018 2400 miles for 35 hrs after I got it haha. Drove from SC to CA. Coast to coast!
I wonder if the RS is any worse because of the AWD?
the RS has taken over the evolution and impreza . great business move by ford
Saw one on the street the other day. Fell in love immediately
When are you going to get the new 2 JZ in the car cuz I can't wait to see that
its nice that someone finally remembered the Mazdaspeed 6
Great video David and keep up the awesome work. You're doing an awesome job.
When is the review for Dan's Camaro coming out?
So my question is... the mazdaspeed6... the MZR 2.3l turbo power plant... which is owned my ford. Which the has been said to be "related" to the 2.3l ecoboost in the mustang. So would you be able to.. yea it would be expensive. But i wonder how easy it would be to put that higher HP engine from that into the speed6 if i needed a new motor.
Ford can we get the RS 500 as well???
