@@TheRetroBiker Quick follow up. The light came back on after 10 minutes. Tried it again and the same outcome. Off to the auto-electrician. Luckily, I use an honest one. It's an old car, so no regrets. Cheers.
Brilliant...going to try this today as I hit my steering wheel after an idiot overtook me on a b road and then got the flashing light on the air bag (Nothing hit incidentally ! ) Hopefully this might do the trick I'll let you know 👍
Thanks for posting this! I just did this for my Nissan Maxima 2007 which doesn't have a key just a fob and it worked! But do you know if this is safe? I'm wondering if this means my airbags won't work properly if I do get in an accident.😂
Oh great, glad it worked! Before I answer I've got to say I'm no mechanic and have no form of qualifications, I just like to have a go at fixing stuff. Hopefully someone will correct me if I'm wrong but here goes..... if the airbag light goes out and stays out then it's fine and the system is working well, if it's comes back on again though it has a fault that needs a fix. Could be something little, easy and common like the occupancy sensor in the seat, steering wheel squib/clock spring (the bit that allows the electrical connections on the steering wheel Inc airbag to stay connected as it turns). Could be something a bit more serious though, saying that every time I've had an airbag light in the past it's never been anything major. Hope that makes some sort of sense and with a bit of luck your light has stayed off.
Oh no, does it still have the ignition barrel just blanked off? My Nossan Pathfinder 2009 had keypess entry and start but you still had to turn the barrel where the key would go. Maybe use the ignition switch in the same way as if it's a key?
Worked amazingly, seemingly so after the 3 x 5 second part of the trick.
It worked for me on our old 2007 Dualis that we keep as a shopping car. So much better than paying a mechanic or auto electrician. Thank you!
That's great to hear, always good to save some cash 💸

It worked for me on Nissan Note 2008 . Thanks
That's great to hear. Out of interest is your Note keyless or does it have the traditional key in the ignition?
Traditional key
Thanks for video it worked for me bless you ❤
That's great, glad it worked for you

Does this work in a Nissan Note Rider 2006 bro? @The Retro Biker
Hi, yes I think it will. Give it a go and update us if you can....
Doesn't seem to work om my 2009 Qasquai.🤨
Oh no, it should work.
@@TheRetroBiker It finally did work after like 30 attempts!!!!lol
Brilliant, just got to hope it stays off now. I know if there is an break in the airbag circuit it will c9me back.
Sadly doesn't seem to work on my 2012 Tekna. Possibly because of the keyless entry 😢

Works for a while then comes back
Ah ok, you probably have a fault that needs fixing.
