Just unhook the battery's negative, wait for ~10 minutes, then dis-connect that yellow plug and re-connect it. If there was crap on the pins, it'll be gone via the metallic wiping/scraping of unplugging and plugging it back in whether WD-40 is used or not.. (WD = Water Displacement. 40 = On the 40'th try, they finally got it perfect. An Evaporating, water displacement formula made from fish oil having penetrating properties that cracks rust as well. And having an organic, soluble oil base, it cleans too... `Really nice, effective, and harmless stuff to have at hand.)

This is more likely a loose connection under the seat i wouldn't spray wd 40 on any airbag plugs best to scan the csr for code's before touching anything

When you disconnect the battery, you have cleared the codes .
