@@paulbruno9806 Yes I have most of their singles and a couple of their albums. When people started ranting that Brian never contributed to songwriting for AC/DC I pointed out that he actually wrote the lion share of songs for Geordie.
Brian, Sting and Mark Knopfler….all of them from Newcastle, strangely enough :)

Love Brian he properly has the most powerful rock n roll voice of all time and when he specks normally he still sounds like a rock star I love the joke he told too about porcupines and porches

Brian is a real hero of mine. Seen AC/DC in concert so many times starting in 1991. Always wanted to meet him but I've always been in the right place at the wrong time! I was cabin crew for BA in the early 00's and he invited the whole crew from the flight he was on to his house in Florida........I wasn't on that crew but the guys who were said he's ace.
Have holidayed quite a few times with my family in the part of Florida he lives and thought I may see the Bentley tooling around, no luck. May be one day!

I used to dispatch BA flights and had to deal with him off the inbound Orlando as special sevices were held up. I found him an ignorant, arrogant little man, maybe just a bad day.

I must admit I almost shed a tear on seeing the Inca orange CSL! I bought an identical one, TGC 402L…in 1984. Aged 24, I thought I’d be different to my mates who had the usual Capris and Escorts… What a car. Oh how I wish I still had it😢

Does it seem odd that a complete and total Rock and Roll badass MoFo is, by all appearances, is a totally sweet and kind man. There may be a lesson in there....
I love that he, like me, loves ALL kinds of cars.
When he had to stop touring due to hearing/ear problems, the story I heard was that it was due to his race cars, NOT being in the loudest rock band of all time. As a gigging bassist for over 40 years AND the owner/driver of a bridge-ported 13B rotary Spitfire and a Panoz GTS with a 3" exhaust that is, basically, a straight pipe, connected to my LSX 376.... I understand and approve.
This is such an excellent gift, post-Christmas depression. Love from Canada.

Like Brian my passion for cars started when as a young boy my local scout leader had an Alfasud 1.2 ti
My dad drove an Austin maxi at the time and I’ll never forget the noise and the way the sud seemed to dance through the corners.

Ha, that takes me back. I had the CSL in the exact same BMW color but prepared by Schnitzer. 3.0 , 3 x 45 double Webers, Dr Schrick cam, Mahle pistons, tighter ZF dog leg 5-speed, tighter ZF steering box, 75% LSD, adjustable Koni, Scheel 400 seats, rear side and back windows lighter plexi, Matter roll bar, front spoiler (no bumper), and rear plastic bumper. I totaled that car near Dortmund, but had the same in green metallic right after. Total weight with all the items mentioned was 1,065 Kg.
The L in CSL stands for Light, but this one has a heavy steel rear bumper, and the 3 rear windows look like glass. It's lovely to see this one.

@@KiddinaSweetShop Same colored car was T-boned on pass side, and literally bent like a half circle (got pics). The later green CSL is rotting away in Tehran, where I lived for 10 years. One time in a parking lot of a Takhte Jamshid supermarket, there was a white stock CSL with the nice BMW colors. They might have been the only 2 in the country. Keep up the good work,

A childhood hero of mine. Glad to see he's a Mini fan too. I had a 1974 Clubman, that my brother upgraded with a 1.5 from an Allegro I think. Stank of petrol of fumes, but shifted. Could've done with 5 gears.
