If Bob Ross worked on cars.. It's like half the screaming of scotty Kilmer, and twice the actual knowledge. Edit: with a touch of Red Green. For color.
only twice the knowledge? c'mon... This is at least 2.5X the knowledge. Hell, I ran into a part time counter guy at Auto Zone that took 1 year of shop his freshman year that knew more than Kilmer.
I gave up on Roadkill I didnt even mind paying for it but just got too discovery channel. Your show is definitely in the spirit of roadkill and much funnier.
You are one of the very few TH-camrs that I repeatedly laugh out loud while watching. Great channel with very nice autos and lots 'o learning to be had here! Keep up the hard work, we'll be here to enjoy it! Chuck in NE Kansas
I used to run 15/40 in my old scout in winter and 20/50 in the summer. That old bitch never gave me a problem but starting when it was -20 in the winter. I had 3 try then it was battery charger and a tiny squirt of starting fluid. If she didn't pop in two more cranks. But she never left me stranded or stuck! Wish I still had her.! Peace!

I absolutely love the way you fabricobbled the alternator in with your “easer”. Followed by the belt tensioner 3000, and how much tension do we need? All of it, of course. The core disposal of the old alternator was cinematic genius as well. Come back to Montana. We need to drink and wrench together.
Love your channel, love the sense of humor..parts boxes and alternators being biffed anywhere! And the drinking whilst laying flat gave me a good giggle. Thanks for great entertainment, and keep up with the great videos!
Subscribed! I love your positive attitude. "really don't know who the guy was that oned this truck before me, but dang I could drink beer with him" totally sold me. Humility plus not badmouthing previous owner is refreshing. I like to see it. Looking forward to seeing more!
Never leave TH-cam for the mainstream tv!! I love this channel and I learn a lot from you. I use that knowledge to work on my Bella, 98 k1500 Chevy sidestep model. Awesome truck and I love learning to work on her
Nice to see subscribers are up, few people have the ability to entertain and teach us something at the same time. This makes your channel very real. My Mrs would shit bricks if I came home with half the stuff you do.
I have a 1966 4 door Pontiac Bonneville Catalina edition up at my farm property in northern Michigan. You have inspired me to get it running. However, it has not been driven since 1980! Thank you for all the vidyas.
Came to your channel by looking up Chevelle’s love your vids. Fort watched all the Independence videos now went back to the beginning and catching up! I’ve done somewhat of the same thing driving my 1970 big block El Camino across the country from Georgia to California twice. You have retaught me many things. Love that you’re teaching your kids, I kind of created a monster, my youngest son is currently has a project of putting a 454 in a 280Z!!!
I rarely comment on youtube videos, but I just have to say, you are legit hysterical. I am going back to the beginning to catch up on all your videos, and I laugh out loud in every single one. Thanks for the laughs and content!
You Sir are my new favorite channel. I look forward to every new video and the Chevelle content is my favorite. I like the "factromizing too. Also "pistol grip" shifters not just for Mopars anymore.
Great show ! I see you have a vast amount of knowledge. If'n you run into a problem getting a starter out past the oil holder thing, May I suggest whacking the pan with a hammer. It will also save you about a quart on your future oil change.
About here on this video I’m thinking you found a Mike that we can hear good. Thank you. I like that so I can learn more of your great knowledge. I’ve said before you are one smart guy..
I’ve been frequenting your videos a lot as of late. You really make me want to start working on my father’s 68 Chevy II that hasn’t ran since 1988. I also must say you have impeccable taste in music for your videos. Good stuff!
I discovered this legend only yesterday. I’m at home recovering from a quite serious motorcycle crash. VGG has been my medicine today watching vid after vid. Not sure what order, who cares. Laughed so much I forgot to take my pain killers... and I don’t even give a shit. Where do I get myself one of those hats.
Just pulled a 65 c10 out of the woods and got it running again original 283 3spd. Was just looking at videos about other 65’s and ran across your videos glad I did great content. Cant wait to see what you do with this old girl.

You certainly seem to come by some interesting vehicles. A BB powered 65. I would have expected a 348 or a 409. At least you have a place indoors to work on them. You Rock.
Sweet rig! Reminds me of the '72 GMC jimmy I used to mud race with. Another quick way to check charging system operation is touch a screwdriver to the rear bearing cap on the alternator with the engine running, it should be magnetic, If she ain't magnetic check your wiring, if it's good give the old alternator the ol' "zing zang"! Cheers!!!
AB3s thats gold. I already used that this morning talking to my nosey neighbor. He's one of those guys who was weaned on Govment Cheese and Mountain Dew.

Looking for metal in the oil. My dad-in-law, Big Mac, was a gy-reen aircraft crew chief in “dubbya-dubbya eye-eye”. He always said that if the metal in the oil was too small for a part number it was O-KAY! No problem. But then those airplanes didn’t typically last too long with folks shooting’ at ‘em and such. Old Big Mac. He was a good guy.

As you know, Billings is far cheaper than Bozangeles or Little Hollywood. Anyway, hope to keep on seeing the ol VGG weekly. 2 weeks=2 long
