Man! These comments are pretty derogatory. It’s just a how to show. Take it and run with it or leave it alone. I watch them to see the methods and thought process behind their ideas. Then if any are relevant to my current build, well I use them, if not just put it in the ole memory bank for later. Keep building guys.
I want say you guys are the best man I been watching you guys rebuild this truck I fill in love with this truck I probably would never get a chance to have one but if I had one I would love for it to be done the way you guys did it I love what you guys are doing God bless you guys
I so wanted to bag my Blazer, but went and injured my left shoulder, so now I can barely use that arm anymore. Over five grand worth of air suspension just sitting here. Uhg!
Personally the four link is better than the swing arm system they came with and of course the stabilizer bar for side to side control at that point. The truck looked nice coming in to the shop which proves you can polish a turd. That truck has the feel of Earl Sheye restoration. Never good as the build doubles in price. I think the style truck rear end was a five year only but am sure I am wrong on the years as the front didn't have the torsion bar suspension which was a short life span. All the usable bagged parts are good for swap meets but the bad worn ones should go straight to garbage. Someone will want the old 350 engine as it seemed to hold up the chevy name. That cab needs a lot of help for it to be right. I figure that is why this will be either two, three, or more episodes... marking how much to milk it for. I enjoy these builds too cause it gets junk off the road
I have a 68 that’s somewhat drivable and a 67 fleetside that needs to be put back together. That’s a later project. Just love how they look. Money is always a issue but about the time is all together, it’s like a sunrise and a feather duster had sex. Please excuse my language
I have a 2001 Chevy S104 wheel drive extended cab what would be the best motor to put in that truck that's what I would like to know I wanted to do with 383 stroker what people say that's too much power for that truck Please comment back in let me know what you think
Yo tengo una 87dodge y le e puesto todo y lo unico k no incuentro son unas lista de plastico k van adentro alrrededor de la cabina, se agradaria si algen me pudiera desir donde las puedo incontrar
Do you have the video from the other c10 mentioned in the video about the one piece glass window? I bought that window kit from brothers and I’d like to see how they did it
I like to have the normal high on a 73 chayenne shortbed stepsade with aer bagfron and rear will like to know where can,Iget the sistem or a phone numver.
When they do these types of projects. Since they basically don’t use anything. Why don’t they just buy all new parts. Custom built frames. And the body’s are all new parts fro their catalog sponsors.
I run the car maintenance TH-cam channel in Korea. I'm always learning such a great ideas on your channel. I hope we have a chance to be together. Thank you.
I think a lot of these are running behind - reach out to their teams via e-mail at their main PowerBlock site!! More youtube content about cars, please! :)
To all the old geezers: Nobody cares how you would build it. Every geezer has a square body with a small block 350, lame wheels, and plain paint job. I'd rather see what actual builders are doing than to see the same old square body build thats been overdone for decades.
1st thing i saw you weren't wearing safety glasses while de- rusting, using air and painting. you NEED to add a disclaimer to that scene of video ...... you know, do as I say not as I do --------
Truck was fine the way it was! All this new age crap there is no need for it! These old classic trucks and cars are cool as they are. They are old classic cars and trucks with classic drive trans in them. Stop putting all this new stuff in classic cars and trucks. if you want new stuff buy a new truck or car! Ruining and hacking up all these classics is getting old fast! 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻
It's funny they always start with a shower car our truck and then add one our two things and some rims and it's a million dollar piece of metal I hate these showes
Actually, they did use rear leaf springs on some of the C10s. It's a factory upgrade. I don't have the code in front of me, but the label is on my glove box lid of my '68 C10 long bed. Its called the HD Rear Leaf suspension. EDIT; 04G50GA is the option code for HD leaf. I had taken a pic of my tag after work.

Exactly!! And nine out of ten times their project vehicles are from friends that bought em and pay for parts and these guys use them for content.
Your work is the cool part, making old things NEW AGAIN!
Oh great. Another C trucks video to give me motivation for my '68 C10 long bed. 😁
Great episode! Looks like that I'll have to start doing more than tune ups, oil changes, and filling up the gas tank on my old '68 C10 long bed.
You killed what that truck was supposed to be.
I gotta 67 buick lesabre that ive had for 10 years and I want to see that thing back on the road!
Y'all had all those crusty fasteners on a truck that clean, just imagine what I went through tearing down my old rust bucket...Lol!
Beautiful c-10,thanks for sharing.
Personally I would of kept the old 350 and rebuilt it with high performance parts.
@Wesley Mooney, Agreed 100%
Stroke it make 500hp
Agreed. Should be against the law to do what these guys did to this truck, hacking and bagging a classic like this one.
@@bilbobaggins4710 so all that work to make less than the new motor makes stock. Throw some parts at the LT1 and make way more than 500.
@@bmstylee I was bolstering the op's desire to keep it old school my man

Have you been able to get a truck yet?
first time i seen some one do the cut out right use bolts never wield a frame this will last a hell of a lot longer good job
I'm currently working on a 66 c10, and I'm hoping I can get the chassis looking as good as this! 💯👌
How's the 66 coming?
"SAA-WEEEET C-10!"
❤😮😊
I think drop spindles would be better then airbags in my opinion .
Absolutely! Static drop!
I have one of these on my drive way and I want to restore it with my dad
Sell it to me
Hell yeah badass truck
I so wanted to bag my Blazer, but went and injured my left shoulder, so now I can barely use that arm anymore. Over five grand worth of air suspension just sitting here. Uhg!
I'm korean~~~ I like this video^^
I would love to have the means to do a classic car or truck.you guys are so lucky.
You're the Best boys.
All video wow! I am really your fan .✌️✌️
Good job Brother..
Awesome informative Video experience Y'alls God Bless Ya 🙏
Amazing Video's
👍👍Choice of Lt-1 engine in my openings is a massive update👍👍
👇👇Agree like🤘🤘
It’s getting hard to find a 67-72 that’s not been slammed down. I hate it!! Stock height with a set of meaty tires looks a lot meaner
Ok boomer
I'll take that 350👀😂
How did they know what was original sheet metal. It looks like it was cobbled pritty good. At least the frount end
What do you do with the old motors when you swap out a motor?

Best looking trucks ever..GM design baby 🙋
The chassis work looks like a back yard job. What happen with sand blasting and 2K paint on the chassis?
They know they should have sand blasted the frame, and gun painted it. Boooom!

No such thing as too much power. Swap that bitch and post a video I gotta see this thing. Good luck
Vídeo fantástico, quero assistir os próximos, valeu brother.
No power steering? That's gonna suck.
What is the price for that black plastic flour cover?
Parts changers
Nice Chevy
Id love to have a bagged c10!
Yer the best part of direct injection is the gumed up valves
Wow, My father had a Blue 1971 Chevy C10 just like this. Will this truck be for sale? I would be interested in buying it.
Yo tengo una 87dodge y le e puesto todo y lo unico k no incuentro son unas lista de plastico k van adentro alrrededor de la cabina, se agradaria si algen me pudiera desir donde las puedo incontrar
I’ll never understand why people hack these frames up leave them alone lower them but don’t cut them up 👎
I guess safety is not one of their main concerns.
I'm sick and tired of all of these shows putting air stuff on
@@dougfarrer1693 Agreed.. Air bags are for semi's. They ride like sht on cars/trucks... and you hack up a perfectly good frame.
You lost me at 14:16, I don't need no stinking low rider.
Do you have the video from the other c10 mentioned in the video about the one piece glass window? I bought that window kit from brothers and I’d like to see how they did it
A "daily driver" on airbags, sure thing lmao.
Yes?
I have a 1970 c10 but I don't know how to bleed the brakes
Decreases the rests bare arm on bare metal. Been there before lol.
Very best Very good keep Chevy 1955 séries 3800 truck prease

Yall kill me with the way you end each sentence. Sounds like you were coached on how to do this. Not normal. Still enjoy watching.
Jerry Hubbard I agree every one of these auto shows talks in that same cadence and it’s unnatural and annoying
The title said Lowering a 1971 C10, not "Chop the fuck outa a perfectly good frame"
I've seen some prices on these old c10's and absolutely stupid fucking high prices.
This trucks is gonna be sweet. Anyone know what year this episode is from?
2015
That be nice to have

Couldn't you have had a new frame made?
You run any oil for a bit and it goes black

That was a pretty nice truck. Too bad it got bagged. Would've left yet 350/th350 though
I guess if pretty nice is a rusted bed and cobbeled together sheetmetal up front with a maaco paint job to hide it all.
Total off subject
Question: W? Dose. LT stand for
or LS. Engines what dose Lt or Ls meen ?????
doesnt mean anything. they were originally the option codes on the GM order sheets
pricing for this thing
Here's how to spend $30k on a $15k Truck and make it worth $20k
Step one: purchase lipstick covered pig.
cuando no tienes en que gastar el dinero homy!

Whats with all the cameramen getting in the shots?
What the hell happen to this build?? Couldn’t y’all finish it?
Look a lot better than the ugly ass trucks they make today.
Who let a McPoyle work on a C10?
It was going well till you added the dreaded Air Bag money pit. That crap never lasts.
Boa noite carro 1972 Chevy Pu vai amém bom
Boa noite FIRST vai amém BOM 👌💪😷
To each there own but i hate a slammed chevy.

Why would you rip out such a pretty 350 :(
@Broken Platinum Studios, Agreed!
Because the new LT1 blows it away in performance. Nuff said.

Always found the fact that they didn't use leaf springs remarkable. It would be another 40 years until another truck didn't have them.
