This is one of the classic games that I played and adore when I was a kid. Those music are still in my memories even after 30+ years.
I'm literally tearing up from the nostalgia.
This is the best track in the entire game. I love it.
The moment when you take three heart (at least) damage because the blue ninja wasn't in the ground and you could not defend it
And Blue Samurai appear... (I know, with boomerang)
So true.. lol
Go and play the remake, it's awesome!
Iconic. One of the greatest games and one of the best soundtracks. Hands down.
I remember playing as "Mouse Man" and loving this tune, 30 years ago. It still holds up as a great track today!
This takes me back to 8th grade gaming on my Sega master system
never played this game, but the music is awesome
OH My, Oh My, I play this game exactly 20 year ago on my GameGear,
and today it still sound as awesome, thank you very much for the flashback.
You are missing AxeBattle and Shinobi2 from your awesome playlist but you have the almighty Alisia dragoon. OMG!
Oh my God, the original music will be in the HD Remake! :D
Best song of the master system
Listen to Space Harrier 3D, psg version.
wow... still remember this, and all the joy and triumph that came from breaking a boss with the boomerang.
I thought i was the only one who saw that it was very similar to "Time is Running out" from Muse !!!
Maybe they did a homage to this tune in that song and didn't say anything ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
Iv always wanted to cry when I heard this song, I still tear up. I'd also like to say the ps5 retro version still can't top the original Master System. It's not surprising Sega rules
My favorite part of the soundtrack
Same here. Even though the game caused great frustration at times, and the design of the console caused me to accidentally restart in the middle of a difficult bossfight (more than once...), it brought me a kind of joy you don't get too often these days. Having the greatest - in my opinion that is - 8-bit soundtrack of all time certainly doesn't hurt this game. :D
Sega might've even be able to beat nintendo if Wonder boy would've been their mascot ;D
I like listening to this at 0.75 speed since it matched (or came close to) the speed at which it played on my system.
You can hear a different version on my channel.
That second loop is a killer!
So many memories!! Loved this game and Sega!! This is my favourite music of the game!
Ah brings back good childhood memories. Although, I don't think I ever beat the game. I recall being the bird and flying up to some dungeon in the sky to face what I think was a two-headed dragon - but I don't recall ever seeing the end.
best game on my Game Gear. Thx for the ost :)
All the people saying this reminds them of a Muse song, I feel the same way about the main theme to Skullgirls.
Or, well, the other way around. I played this game first by a few decades.
0:31 The best part
Castle theme in Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom
the best memorable game for me!!!
Fire
i fucking love this theme....IWBTFG !!
:)
Fucking awesome all your videos of this game. This was my first game in my life :)
I actually prefer this over the fm sound version
professor chaos listen the PC Engineering version
Agreed, Professor!
Leonardo, did you mean PC Engine?
@@loveandrockets4life Pc engine, Turbo graphics 16, There both the same! Technology wise at least.
@@shakeyframe2330 Right. The "engineering" part threw me off. I thought maybe he had a rom hack or something. lol
I love this song! this was my first game in my life too!
btw! is it just me, or is this song's similar to Muse - "Time Is Running Out" ?? or perhaps the other way around! :)
quand j'arriver a ce niveau je stresser car c la tanier du boss
Surtout le temple … si t’as pas un certain équipement ni des boomerang (indispensable pour les samuraïs) , c’est l’enfer .
I beat the last vampire boss with fireballs all the time
if some1 has the europe version of this i will love u forever
I discover wonderboy 3 with i wanna be the fangame
Me too :D Didn't discover the game but the music is still great for coding.
This track reminds me of Muse
+Snapps YES!!!! I played this for my wife and then played Muse and she was like "whoa". There's also a Hot Hot Heat song that sounds like one of the Out Run tracks.
They probably sampled it in "Time is Running Out" (watch?v=O2IuJPh6h_A 0:26)
@Henkebab Oh my god, I was writing the same thing! The slowly version is identical, try to listen the Muse song from 0.31 to 0:40, incredible!
Hello there Rewayah!
I would love to know the other 4 songs which you like that much, could you share with us please?
Thanks in advance, and congrats on such a good music taste =)
This sounds so similar to the Yo-Kai Watch theme
@Henkebab
mind = blown
almost contrapuntic !

It's just too fast for me. I'm used to the PAL version. :-\
