  • Hey everyone! Welcome back to my channel! My name is Melyssa and this is one of many videos that I hope will create a safe, fun, educational and collaborating environment where those with autoimmune disease or invisible illnesses can come and hang out. It is important to remember that though a hidden illness is tough, we are never alone! So let’s talk about all of that embarrassing stuff TOGETHER
LISTEN: I never measure my food
I used chicken breast, sage, thyme, rosemary and Holland House white cooking wine. I am telling you it will take this taste to a whole other level. You have to try it! If you try it please tag me on instagram @gutsofgloryandgold

This recipe helped so much! My fiancé and I have been having a difficult time trying to find recipes to make. As he has been newly diagnosed with ulcerative colitis and has been an extremely difficult transition for him since he is a foody. Thank you this gave me some hope to make him a nice meal that makes him smile 💙

Teodoro Gonzalez sorry about that! The chicken uses salt/pepper, sage, thyme, rosemary and white wine. Hope that helps!

those with crohn's need more fiber, not less

@@MBison-im2qy not if you have strictures! I've had 5 small bowel resections and numerous stricturoplasties. I can get by with small amts of fiber now, but never used to be able to when my Crohn's was severe. Fiber gets blocked in strictures, and causes bowel obstructions in people with strictures. Also, fiber is harder for the gut to digest, and when you're flaring, just digesting soft foods is difficult enough.

@@mrmeeseeks8262 Your doctor is garbage. I've met many people with Crohn's who've told me the exact same thing you have. But the hard science says your doctor is ignorant or lying: inflammation causes the symptoms of Crohn's. You can easily fix this by getting enough fiber which can quickly cure inflammation. Very very few people ever get the recommended 40g a day, and not everyone gets Crohn's because of genetic factors but still colon cancer is a top killer, 100,000 each year die. And everytime I look up "fiber" and "Crohn's" all I get is how Crohn's patients don't get enough fiber and how lack of fiber increases risk factor for Crohn's. Honestly, have you even spent more than 10 minutes doing any kind of real research on fiber and Crohn's?

I have so much scar tissue build up in my gut that if I eat anything high in fiber I end up in the hospital not every person that has Crohn's needs the same diet plan what works for others doesn't work for everyone.
