Absolutely love the content you put out. I just recently picked up my new ryker and have been out a few times, I love every second of it. Some guys on bikes wave and some don't but it is what is it. I won't lie, I was a little self conscious at first but after watching your don't apologize video, it made me sit back and think why should I be. I'm all the happier for it. I never have and never will now apologize for doing something I love and if that makes me a heretic, then I'll gladly join the club. Keep the content rolling! Hope to see you in my neck of the woods in ct sometime. Ride safe!
The GWB keeps me out of CT. I’m absolutely terrified of it. That out of the way I’m glad you liked the video. Coming home from bike week in SC right now and no disrespect from the other bikers while I was there.
Man! This video blessed me. We actually had an issue in our chapter with egos being bruised because of the "3 wheel take over" As it was put😡 The bishops, as you put it did not want to see 3 wheels...Can-Am Spyders to be exact in the group. You definitely gave me some great talking points to piggyback off of... it was a mess to the point And seriously pissed a lot of the husbands off because most of the women who ride spiders were actually officers in the chapter. Great job!!! Really Great job!...I I love the comparison because as the chapters photographer when I ask two wheelers why they ride they refer to it as being their Church 🤷🏾♀️
In friendship with no malice… There are a handful of videos on your Channel that seem to be your frustration with not being accepted as a Biker. Here’s my point of view… My background is from a long Family of Bikers. Two wheels of every type. We’ve always ridden what felt best for us, we aren’t about Brands or styles. I got my endorsement in 1994. I’ve even driven around on the 49cc Yamahas, my favorite is my 2003 Sportster with Corbin Beetlebags giving it a Vespa look. So I‘ve never been worried about what anyone thinks I look like out there. My Uncle gave me his Ryker a couple of years ago and it’s gotten me back in the Wind despite my disability. Being homebound for years, now over 50, never expecting to ride again, it’s been a wonderful gift in every sense of the word. So having done both, it’s just not the same thing. It’s a different experience in every way except being in the Wind. Which IS important but it’s NOT Motorcycling. It’s fun, it’s great, it’s similar. I decided to write this because, without meaning to hurt your feelings, you seem really caught up with this subject and I think I can explain it in a way non-Motorcyclists can understand. Imagine going into a Cigar Lounge with a Pipe, lighting up, and demanding to everyone in the place they have to be friendly to you about it because you’re all Smoking. That would be absurd and I think everyone would agree. You smoke a cigar, you smoke a pipe, they’re both smoking, neither are (generally) even inhaled, but the experience is so different that in a closed environment dedicated to one, the other is just disruptive and if not *invited* to join in would be seen as psychotically rude. If you think of Bikes and Trikes as Cigars and Pipes… the TRUTH is that *for the most part* Bikers are *more* accepting of Trike riders than they should be realistically. Because there’s a question of disability and the understood *need* in the Biker Community for Trikes… Bike Nights, Fun Runs, Charity Rides, and Rallies mostly allow a CanAm Rider to just show up, without explanation invitation or asking, and participate in *their* activity. Be thankful for that. Don’t be resentful that not everyone there wants to hug you into their group. I think CanAm Trikes are great and if you choose to ride 3 instead of 2, yes that’s your choice, don’t apologize to anyone, have fun, seek like-minded Friends to share that with. But you can’t then choose to demand that a Club, group, or individual should also accept you as doing something you’re not. Defining what ride or drive means to you doesn’t mean anything to reality, they’re different activities entirely with minor similarities. Bikers riding Trikes know this. Someone not saluting when I ride past makes me sad that my world has changed not angry that the Biker is gatekeeping me, but at the same time it reminds me how Blessed I am to still be in the Wind. I say it all with support and friendship. I wish you the best, I enjoy your Channel, I hope you get to a point where you can reconcile it all with yourself. Spend a single day lighting up Pipes in Cigar Lounges without asking and a year bringing CanAms to Biker events and see who’s more kind and accepting.
Interesting comment but I think you misinterpreted what I’m saying and definitely what I’m feeling. The video isn’t made for me I don’t care about acceptance. I also don’t agree with you that trikes are not motorcycles they are, not the same as two wheels for sure not trying to compare the two. I have always been accepted or at least tolerated wherever I go. I actually find it surprising how much curiosity two wheelers show. If someone’s head is so far up their backside that my choice of motorcycle bother them then they ain’t the type I would grace with my presence lol.
My ride partner is a Harley softail .( and yes he love every thing that is Harley) .. not much an issue ......and I probably ride more than most of the cities motorcycle guys /////// they probably use trailer to go far ... I sign every riders on the road ,the big bike sign back , the one that mostly dont sign back are usually the kids with the speedbike, I do what I like and the other ones can do what they want and that its. There is also camaro and corvette , antique car club ...each to is own.... I love my ride and that what I think and don't care what other care If you go to a can-am store dealer every thing is branded Can-am, I do have a few of these ... There is 3 wheel rally also Houston this year 1000 ryker and spiders ... my mech was there with the fasted modified ryker in NA Alain & Yellow PS just take one of these big bike guys into the city with traffic and you can have a good laught as they have to work the clutch and the speed downtown traffic ....
lol you might not realize I live in the city and your right don’t see many full baggers around. Many smaller Harley cruisers as well as sport bikes. I would assume you would see trike merch at a trike function but at a bike rally I haven’t seen any.
I’m in a MC as well and I occasionally get heckled but all in good fun.they are older than me so I think they realize 3 wheels are in the future. They will probably pick up a trike and then transition but who knows.

I like your definition, ride on it versus ride in it. If 4 wheels moove your body and 2 wheels your soul... 3 wheels moove your body and soul 🤔
I think it’s a fair line to draw. Whatever moves you and brings you joy I say.

@@adventuresoffearlessfaith yea definitely parallels. The church of motorcycling doesn’t want a reformation for sure.
If motorcycling is a religion, we are the preachers of the separatists! Great mental gymnastics video (nice sermon) yada yada yada... 😎
lol thanks I just hope it made sense yada yada yada and all that jazz.
