+Emi Saullo Simple. These guys studied the market, studied the cost of production, and took the time to see what would make themselves successful. Too many business people make emotional decisions and use anecdotal evidence to run a business. Make sense?

You can see how healthy these cows are just by watching them!!
Their beautiful coats are not covered in flies, they're not mowing incessantly from pain.
    Just beautiful.
    A job well done.

Thanks for all of your hard work! My family and I have decided to cut our meat diet to a couple times a week so we can afford to buy from grass fed natural farmers only. Cant wait until they figure out that raising animals this way is the only way.

I really appreciate your new outlook on farming. There is so much more real beef flavor in grass fed beef also.
My family has finally started to obtain grass fed beef, and where can it be purchased?? Not at Walmart, Spartan stores, etc. From local butcher
    shop/family farms only.
Thank you for your inspiring info for the public to read. Keep up the good work guys! 🤠👍

Hi ! Great job ! I am a breeder of Uruguay in South America. I work in natural grass. fattening slower, than the natural field with improvement of legume or meadow. But for a small producer. makes it possible to produce and without attacking the soil so much. Thanks for the video. Greetings !!!

I stopped eating meat/eggs/dairy 8 years ago but now I am resuming, thanks to "pasture-raised" farming/ranching. That food is healthy. Conventional grain-fed meats are a mistake for the producer and consumer. The only winner is big chemical and big oil. In the end, conventional meat/egg/dairy production is unsustainable and produces an unhealthy food.
The brothers didn't mention chickens, but birds are needed in the food chain. They may be wild or not.
Conventional "farming" is really mining. It mines out the soil fertility, then tries to replace it artificially with chemicals and the adverse effects are sick animals, crops, and people who consume them. The "solution" advised by the corporations is to apply more chemicals. The soil gets more depleted of organic matter, less fertile, less healthy and so do the plants & animals. The conventional method is out of balance with nature. It was a mistake from beginning to end. Big Agi/govt. perpetuate it.
The solution is to sever contact with govt. and corporations, adopt permaculture philosophy and adapt it to your area.

    • @fallinginthed33p
      @fallinginthed33p 6 ปีที่แล้ว

Conventional farming treats soil as a dead substrate instead of the living partner it is. Going vegetarian or vegan can be problematic if you're sourcing food from industrial farms for soy, corn, wheat and beans. These farms strip mine the soil and require constant inputs for high yields.
An integrated system combining crops and livestock in as closed a loop as possible would be ideal. A lot of places on earth aren't suitable for large scale crop planting but animals like cows, goats, pigs and chickens can convert inedible biomass into human-edible protein.

I can tell you've never had to work for a rancher. I spent several years in my teens and twenties working farms and ranches. They pay a straight salary which comes to about a dollar an hour. I had a wife and three kids to raise. When one of their cows got sick they made me butcher it and take it for part of my wages. Maybe you didn't know farmers and ranches don't have to pay minimum wage like other businesses. Their is no workman's compensation , no osha, no unemployment, no benefits of any kind.

These farmers are amazing. You guys are helping save the world, keep it up... That chef though, hm. Pink salt (sodium nitrate) is definitely killing all bacteria, that stuff is literally poison. It's actually a sad irony to take a product from farmers with the brilliance to recognize that roundup (glyphosate championed by the USDA) is actually a terrible, dangerous chemical, and put sodium nitrate (a dangerous chemical championed by the USDA) on it. The white coating he's getting is definitely not the healthy mold bloom he should be getting, it's salt decanting on the surface because that bresaola is staying in cure waaaay too long. I think mine typically goes 3-5 days, a week at the most, definitely not two full weeks getting redressed half way through, that's crazy, not to mention grinding the kosher salt defeats the point of using kosher salt (a crystal form of salt that's actually hollow and has greater hygroscopic properties), at that point just use fine sea salt and save on the labor. I also have no idea why he cut the loin in half, why the tip of his boning knife is so dull, or why the blade on his deli slicer is so dull that it's causing him to cut so thick and uneven (that last one is really unforgivable, there's a built in sharpening mechanism). He owes it to these amazing farmers to do their product greater justice. I can't over state it, these guys are actively saving the world. No other profitable human activity is engaged in active carbon emission harvesting.

Well, I think many "fashion" vegans like to tell themselves and others that veganism is healthy - what they seem to forget is, that veganism only resulted from the desire to not kill another living being for food. Veganism is not a diet, but an ethical standpoint.
You'd have a hard time proving it's healthy - but pop-culture vegans don't let that get in their way. 😂

hi there ,I heard you talking about bloat in your cattle ,are you preventing it with feeding minerals ?? we are dairying and beef farming in NZ,and lots of farmers are hit with dead cows from bloat, usualy this problem occurs when grass is short and lush or short clover ,sometimes in spring time when thre is fog in morning and than sun comes trough mid morning and cows balloon up and die quickly if not stabbed or given anti bloat oil, although now january still some cows died last week on a farm with flowering white clover and is bit unusual,Kees

Grass-fed beef. ...with added minerals ...and flax seed pellets ...and zeolites ...and baking soda ...and diatomaceous earth. ...and sea salt. Just like nature intended. Why, just last week, I passed a local farm and saw some cows taking an ionic foot bath and some others having high-dose intravenous Vitamin C treatments. These guys need to also try giving their cows some coffee enemas à la The Gerson Therapy.
