He knew what i needed and it was love and Him. He is the healer , He knows how ur son feels. infact i strongly encourage u and your son to watch a series called “the Chosen” from season 1-4 they are making 2 more seasons and it captures the life of Jesus rlly well. I think my 8 year old son has tourettes, waiting for an appointment with his doctor to get a diagnosis. I've been watching videos of people with Tourettes and it's making me even more sure thats what he has. He will sometimes blink and scrunch his face incessantly and will randomly shriek or blurt things out. I feel horrible because I've gotten mad at him in the past for his behavior (like when he is yelling or throwing things) and I know if it turns out that he has Tourettes he doesnt necessarily have control over some of his behavior. I feel so bad, he always had some behavior that seemed sort of like tics but they never lasted long and he would go months without anything. Ever since his dad left it has been more noticeable and a lot more often and from what I read stress and PTSD can make it worse. I feel like such a failure not looking into this sooner for my son 😔

So many jobs here in the us accept people with tourretes or maybe its just the state of california because i haven’t been outside of cali before. But the coworkers I have are so used to and understanding of my tourretes and the regular customers as well. That theres no issue. I think they should make more people aware of tourretes in other countries it would make life easier. I have tourretes and i have 2 jobs and go to school. They shouldnt make it a huge deal we can still do normal stuff if people dont make fun of tourettes.

      Yes, it's like a huge tension in your body that you need to relieve. I can't speak for everyone, but for me, I begin to feel pressure and tension in my arms and legs. The pressure continues to build until I release my Tourette's word/sound/movement. However, it's not always like this. Half of the time, the sound/word/movement happens before I even know it's going on-- it happens, and then I realize it happened. It's out of my control.

The woman who came in to take the information, and get my signature and payment, gave a snort and a laugh every step of the way. My nephew was the first person to be diagnosed with Tourette’s in the uk which was very upsetting even teachers would say oh here’s the kid that barks like a dog !!!!!!this only came about after seeing on a programme in America when on holiday .we were sent all the literature about it after contacting them .doctors in the uk we’re not geared up for this so it took sometime educating them .one doctor prescribed medicine but still didn’t know what it was ,which is ridiculous ,another doctor prescribed a medicine that was even banned ,so be careful guys .Ritilin was given to 600 kids in America many years ago as an experiment to stop Tourette’s …..600 kids died
    If you are given medication make sure it is resperidol this is what’s given in America too .this does NOT stop you from working only uneducated people would try to do this !!!!

    I find it insulting that you are apologizing for whatever he might say….apologizing to people who might find what he says “offensive” when he can’t help what he says and has a condition. You shouldn’t be apologizing for him….the people who find what he says offensive when he can’t help it should be apologizing to him for finding what he says offensive…..they ARE the ones with the problem…not him. When you are someone that gets soooo offended by something said…when that person has something wrong with their brain and can’t help it….then YOU are in the wrong. He shouldn’t have to apologize and the show shouldn’t apologize for him.

      Do you have Tourette's, too? I have both Tourette's and severe RLS. I wonder if they are linked? When I need to release a tic, I get RLS symptoms that are only relieved by making my usual sound + movement.

    • @antiHUMANDesigns
      @antiHUMANDesigns 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@groovydeath No, I don't think I have tourettes. I get some twitches, sometimes, but they're not tourettes-like, and and they're very minimal.
      I do have very severe RLS, possibly with what they call PLMD, periodic limb movement disorder.
      I don't only need to move my legs around at night like I'm on a bicycle, but I also get violent shakes as if someone tickles me under the foot. Completely involuntary muscle contractions.
      I reduce the frequency of RLS by controlling th etempearture. Often, it helps to have cold legs. I'v enoticed that being a bit warm can set them off.
