The "U" shaped heater bypass hose on your water pump isn't helping you overheating situation. You're basically looping hot coolant back to the cool side.
Nice swap! Using same Jegs intake on my 1999 XJ swap. Having a problem getting truck injectors from 2004 LM7 to fit intake. About 0.010" too big. Stock intake orifice measures 0.550" Jeg's measures 0.540" Maybe find a smaller OD oring? Damn, I cringe at how much work is ahead of me!! Great Job!!!
Those holleys are really good units. Make sure your inputs are accurate for injector, cam, and engine size. Also make sure there are no exhaust leaks before the wideband sensor.
Wow so cool to see ya back in the saddle hahahaha for sure. Anyway Jeff my thoughts on your bucking might be 2 big of a camshaft. You might consider some of the RV still camshafts there designed for lower rpm yes you will lose a little power but you won't be bucking any more and when you go off roading you won't have to be on the gas to keep the engine from stalling. I do like your build you've worked really hard on that for sure. Anyway good luck and hope to see you and Matt tearing up the hills and just having the time of your life.
Had the same problem did 3 core new thermostat new shroud .. Ended up being water pump .. Fins were gone ..... Temp would randomly spike and go right back down so it was the last thing I check ..but thats how it gos lol
Hi 👋 👋 👋 👋 Jeff your right about the tune and then on some of the other channels that are out there I've seen them even on a V6 . So get it turned up and also see if you can get a Dino tune that way the tune will match your Jeeps weight and get rid of the rich fuel on low end and get it tuned on mid to top end as well. Going now thanks Ray 😎
Hay Jeff you might take your Jeep to someone that has a Radiator shop that specializes in high performance Radiators maybe he can point you in the right direction or maybe just bite the bullet and have the shop fix the problem. Oh I meant to ask you if you have a fan schrode if you don't have 1 that be the problem right there. Again good luck
Question about your shifter. I noticed you’re running the B&m short throw shifter. Did you have issues with the trans being moved 2-3in forward? I am ls swapping a 98 cherokee. My stock shifter won’t work. Debating on heating it up and bending it or getting the short throw. Thanks.
Hi 👋 👋 👋 👋 Jeff when you were test driving your Jeep 🚙 looked like Matt was hanging on for dear life hahaha 😆 also when you were driving over the chevy Blazer I noticed on the right rear looked like your locker wasn't engaging maybe take a look at the video I could be wrong. Anyway enjoy your V8 Jeep 🚙 and I'll see you on the internet PS I haven't seen Matt on the internet on his Jeep Cherokee ether or does he have his own account. Going now thanks Ray in Idaho

You can just get a $50 wal mart tablet and make your Terminator X display on it. Works pretty good, sweet XJ brother, love the channel.

Only thing i had to do was modify the trans mount to bolt up to the stock crossmember
The b&m works fine no modification
