Woohoo!!!!! Sorry I’ve been so busy jaydone but happy to see you grinding and still branching out into more legendary lore. I’m takin a pit stop once again. Thanks.
About the Hobbits: would've been useful to mention that they are descended from ancient Men, rather than being created seperately. Also, the Elves have their own sub-races, like the Vanyar, Noldor, Sindar, Teleri, Nandor, Laiquendi and Avari, which are all listed in page 371 of the Silmarillion.
Nuemenorians are men, but a deferent breed of men and live longer than the men of rohan, and the east since they descend from a half elf, elrond brother. Not all men descend from Nuemenor, as seen with the rohan, and the Durdain.
I’m confused. We get told trolls turn to stone when in sunlight but we then see a troll fighting in broad (ish) daylight. Never mind, I just didn’t watch the entire segment before commenting. My bad.
You showed Aragorn in the Human thingy but he actually isn't a human. He's a Dunedain which makes him age longer without dying. According to himself in the extended edition of the movies, he's 87 years old even though he looks like he's in his 30s or 40s.
@@Haysbrbsngalvsusn, I love the movie version, I don't understand why only humans and it's descendants race is only mortal sapient being that was created, those knife eared people can live for eternity, why they didn't apply it to them, that is why I hate fantasy genre, they're suck.
@@ArmandoEnfectana-bp6jo that's why i said you should read tolkien cause movies don't explain it very well. But an oversimplified version is that humans were planed to live like 300 years and die when they are ready and start a new chapter in their lives. Similar to what gandalf sais to pipen in the third movie when pipen is afraid of dying. And elves even when killed are returned to the middle earth and cannot ever leave. Plus it would get really fucking boring to live in the same place for 10 000 years knowing even death isn't gonna help
Men's short life and eventual death is considered a gift because that makes them/us the "Get Things Done" race. Dwarves live very long and Elves are immortal, they can take their sweet time. Men do everything much quicker and more passionately BECAUSE of our short lives.
You showed some Uruk (-Hai) footage which are not the same as orcs. Uruks are taller, stronger and smarter than Orcs. They also can survive in sunlight unlike Orcs.
I’m rebranding as I’m creating another channel that will cover history in this same format. I will create a channel called Jaydone for other more personality based content!
Leave a like and subscribe if you would want to see more LOTR videos!
what does this say about me that i’m hiding in the bathroom at work to watch this
It says that you're very normal.
It says more about our society than it does about yourself.
watching this with a fever rn
I don't know, but I support this action.

I don't know why, but I giggle at this image 6:10
Im just watching this for fun, I know a lot of the lore already
i had insider info for this one 😼
The elves were not created by the Valar, but by Eru Iluvatar.
Wait he said that? How did he get that wrong when it literally says "children of Iluvatar" in the Silamrillion

I´ve always thought that Ents just speak Welsh.
The beasts ridden by the ring-wraiths aren’t necessarily dragons. It’s very possible they’re related, but it’s unconfirmed.
No wizards? Foreal tho love the videos
To be fair, Wizards aren’t really a race. They are actually Maiar (lesser angels) that have taken on the physical appearance of men.
Right but if we’re counting the balrogs I feel like we gotta count wizards. Balrogs effectively are to the wizards what the orcs are to the elves, no?
I thinking that the balrogs are really cool
Among all hobbits r my favourite, small fellows stay with gardening, writing books & enjoying their fullest drinking & merrymaking . 👌
I'm an hobbit by character...less love of food though....
When is the ambush’s sponsership I don’t want to scroll through this vid no offense I like most ur vids tho

Gift of Mortality more like a curse especially existence is short and purposeless.
Maybe actually read tolkien then you will see what he means by that

Isn't it interesting how this channel deletes comments that disagree, or ask unwelcome questions

How are elves immortal if they can be killed?
They are not invulnerable, they can't die to things like old age, diseases & stuffl like that
Fun fact: Lotr is supposed to take place in the real world
Yes! "our world in a purely imaginary period of antiquity".
First, and nice video!
Thank you!
