This looks just like my mom's bread! I'm so happy to have found it! She passed away two years ago and when I saw your video I knew I had to make it! Thank you so much for sharing your recipe! ❤
This look just like my moms recipe she made for her family over 50 years ago. Been looking for this recipe for years. Will probably change up time to time with lemon flavor and little allspice. Forever grateful. Lynn of Alabama
Thanks for sharing this old recipe for sweet potato bread. My Mother-in-love made the best, and it was delicious, served warm. Unfortunately, she passed and I don’t believe anyone kept her recipe.❤
I bought Sweet potatoes and just😢 decided to bake Potatoe bread, since I don't have appropriate ingredients for a Sweet potato pie 🥧. God bless you for sharing your recipe.
❤ almost definitely thank you for this recipe I'm one of the younger Cooks in my family and everybody always ask me how to make sweet potato bread I really didn't know I really didn't want to tell them I didn't so thank you❤❤
This looks like the type of sweet potato bread recipe I’ve been looking for. I’m gonna try making it. It looks like the type our elderly ladies at the church would make back in the day. I hope it’s close to or exactly what I’m hoping for cause that was some delicious tater bread as we called it. 😊
Hello if you go through my videos, I have a healthier sweet potato pudding on the channel. You can use 3 flax eggs and 1/3 cup of self rising flour and let it set up a few hours before you cut it. That will work.
Hello there, not much. The mixture is a lil thicker than some pie mixtures. Plus, back in the days some people didn’t use a crust….so here in the South we just called it Sweet Potato bread . Thanks for watching too.😊
My grandmother didn't call this sweet potato bread she called it sweet potato pudding. She fit 2 things different. One she grated the potatoes and 2 she added corn starch. the consistency was not as smooth. This almost looks like sweet potato pie without the crust.
Thank you. Simplicity is what I was looking for ❤
You’re welcome 😊
