Today we take a look at the post-Naughty Dog Crash Bandicoot games, nearly all of them had mixed reception from critics and fans, so I thought it would be interesting to see which one has the lowest score.

Lowkey I’m surprised about twinsanitys rating I thought it was lower. But twinsanity is my favourite crash game post naughty dog so I’m happy with the rating
Tagteam racings adventure mode is extremely fun and well worth a playthrough. But yeah the floaty racing mechanics are just ok. I love tag team racing, its probably the crash game i spent the most time on as a kid, after warped that is.
The clashing cars idea was pretty dope, just not handled well due to balancing problems.

I replayed nitro kart a ton just wish the controls weren't so clunky but still loved the adventure mode and the game overall, also wanted the brainwashed polar skin on nitro fueled, well "skin" it's just a helmet but still wanted lol
Nitro Kart had better track designs and I also really love the anti-gravity & team based mechanics. Controls maybe clunky but once you get use to them, then the game's pretty fun.
@@MSCLeap75 Then 10 years later Mario Kart 8 implemented anti-gravity sections into their courses and I feel like that game got it right, it feels so smooth and natural. I always felt the anti-gravity sections of CNK was just slow to me even when I first played a demo version of the game when I was 8 years old I was holding the acceleration button down really hard in hopes that it'll make the kart go faster lol
I think the controls are just fine, just wish we don’t go unbelievably slow while turning
@@alysssabear Yeah it's much easier to slow way down when turning, and that's because we tend to often press down while turning(right down or left down). You can avoid doing so by simply holding up while turning.

Twinsanity and TTR was a large part of my childhood. I'll always have a special place in my heart for those two games, no matter how bad some people say they are.
Nostalgia is truly blinding.
@@TechniqueSan Twinsanity has the best soundtrack in the series it also added leaned into 'being a cartoon' for lack of a better way to express it, it had decent humor and just a fun atmosphere. Though I think TTR unfortunately flanderized the characters from Twinsanity leading to their Titans era personalities
@@cyberninjazero5659 Twinsanity has a very fun soundtrack and a couple of decent moments humor wise, but everything else is mediocre at best. It's so obviously painfully unfinished, it's almost impressive they were allowed to release it in that state. TTR isn't even worthy of a serious look back.
Crash bash actually scored the best out of all the non-naughty dog games. Bash is very underrated. Across all scores I mean and it was just on one console. Bash sold well too. Combining review scores with sales, bash was the most successful non naughty dog game. I don’t care what bash haters, eurocom haters or party game haters say.
Crash Bash was a phenomenal game to play as a kid. As an adult, I can see why people wouldn't like it but as a party game it was fantastic

I actually really like CNK. I might be clouded by nostalgia, but it was my first ever Crash game (yeah I know). I just loved the detail in tracks like Jungle Boogie and the hub worlds. I ESPECIALLY loved the soundtrack. When I picked up CTTR, my SECOND ever Crash game (even worse I know) I remember thinking "Man this sucks. The racing is nowhere CLOSE to CNK's controls." and never played it again.
CNK had better track design imo, and was definitely aesthetically pleasing.

5:47 I think the worst parts about titans are the parts where you can just walk past a whole section of a lot of mutants. I wish they would've mixed it up with different mutants so it wouldnt always be the same mutant 20 times before proceeding but at least you were forced to fight them so you couldn't just skateboard away without a challenge

Boom Bang is just a spinoff Mario party rip off on a portable system, so it should easily be ignored.

2:00 crash bash was the absolute best crash game for me cause I would play with my family. The competition is what made it great.

I'm stranged by the fact you think MoM isn't as good as Titans, there's like a lot of improvements on MoM such as storing 2 titans, titans can now jump and even level up, Crash's and titans' movesets were expanded, the world is now open-ended (which can be good or bad depending how you look at it.. *cough* backtracking), the humor is top notch, like, it's literally the highlight and it's better than Titans', the areas are more varied and the platformig is definitely not mediocre as it was in Titans, and so. Don't get me wrong, it's alright if you didn't like MoM. Personally I love both but I do think MoM is better, objective-wise of course.
Oh and about Nitro Kart's control. They aren't cluncky. I honestly recommend you to give that game a second, more observant look... I would be glad to explain it to you, but I would enjoy seeing you figure it out by yourself a bit more.
I liked Crash Bash as a kid but I had played it almost exclusively in multiplayer which is how the game is meant to be played imo

Honestly I was expecting the DS counterparts of Titans and MoM to show up, since I think they have similar review scores. The latter of these versions would’ve been utter shit tho
If I remember correctly I owned MoM for DS. I went to buy it with my dad and I already was done with the game before we were home. I was absolutely disappointed, to say the least.
idk why the ear blasting "Oh" after the WHOAH sound effect during the score reveal is getting louder and louder, but it's unintentionally funny to me lol
For wrath of cortex I was one point away and guessed 65.
Crash Bash and Crash Twinsainty are games I absolutely love alongside the canon 4 crash games.
Also ironically my brother and cousin only like one Crash game and that’s Crash bash.
It was a game us 3 played a lot together 12 years ago. And the more I think about it the more the nostalgia hits me
Edit: Lewis remember 6.8 score meant that’s it’s an above an average game so it’s not bad in the greater scheme

The thing with these reviews is the biases of the time will play a huge part in the scores and they’ll score them lower because the genre is less popular

I know twinsanity wasn't finished, but imma be honest, I actually liked that it wasn't. I didn't have much experience with crash before hand, but seeing some cutscenes and just being like, I guess this parts mute, added it's own charm to it. The game still had many things that irritated the hell out of me. Like you couldn't really go back to collect all the gems. Like maybe you could, but it's open world not mission based so you're gonna have to somehow back track through the whole game again. Really irritating but fun game to get through
Despite the hate the Titans games get in this fanbase, they're simply better made games that are fun in their own right.

"simply better made" there are no objective truths when it comes to games though.
Crash bash suffers from the same problem as Crash 4 nowadays, as a game to play with an any% completion its great and fun, I especially like the crystal challenges(That arent sky balls or pogo padlock) as they get kinda creative.
But trying to reach 200% is hell and beyond repetitive.

For Titans, just removing a bit of the forced combat wouldve been enough to improve the game.
Maybe throw in a bit more platforming as well.
Btw, in mu opinion as a platforming view point this game is the best Crash has ever controlled(and yes, even considering IAT), I jost love the acrobatic feel that Crash has in this game, its a shame the game didnt used Crash's moveset better, it would have been an incredible platformer.

WOC is not a Warped Clone since there are several things in WOC that's not in Warped. Nsane Warped is a Warped clone in every literal sense.
Well, N Sane Warped IS a remaster…
@@alysssabear Yea I know. My point is that people in this community love to loosely say WOC is a Warped clone just cause it's similar to Warped on the surface, when it's actually not a clone.
Let's see
1 reused warp room theme
2 reused vehicle levels
3 reused power-ups (besides the tip toe power-up because its trash)
4 the bosses from warped turned into a joke
5 reused time trails ( they are a joke)
And also n sane warped is literally a remake of the original same thing with cortex strikes back and the first game
@@nedalomar4216 WOC is not a Warped clone(Look up what clone is), it borrows ideas from it and for the very most part remixes them for new levels that aren't in Warped, it also uses ideas from Crash 2 which isn't in Warped. Yall lack of respect for WOC makes you loosely call it a clone when it's actually not that.
1. It remixes the Warped theme, it's not 1:1 the same as in Warped. Other Crash games remixes the iconic Warped theme as well.
2. The 1st plane level is the only one that's basically 1:1 the same as the few plane levels in Warped. The other vehicle levels just use similar ideas but are not 1:1 the same as Warped, plus there are other vehicles that aren't in Warped.
3. Even Warped uses the same basic moveset as Crash 2, as well as literally copies most of the graphical assets of basic Crash objects, and Crash himself with his same animations, but Warped's not called a Crash 2 clone. All of WOC's graphical assets & animations are created from scratch, nothing brought over from the ND games yet that's the one that's called a clone.
4. They got demoted for constantly failing to defeat Crash, they still get in your way more than ever tho.
5. So does CB4 and Nsane CB1 & 2, let's not forget CTR, Bash, CNK, & NF. So are they Warped clones as well?

All of Nsane literally uses the same levels and gameplay literally 1:1 the same as the originals, except HD. So they are clones way moreso than WOC would ever be if we're going by your definition of WOC being a Warped clone.
WOC remixes things that were in Crash 2 & Warped, plus implements its own ideas which even got copied in games after WOC. Look I get you guys not liking WOC's presentation to where you love to downplay the crap outta everything it does cause that's the lame trend in this community, but saying it's Warped clone just cause you recognize some similarities between it and Warped while ignoring the differences between the two is just wrong. There's a difference between a clone and inspiration.
All the console Crash games past ND aren't even bad, just meh to decent.

Despite how low of applause this game has received, The reason why i love these games is the fun i had when playing them with my cousins whenever we visit each other, We were pretty competitive when it comes to both Crash Bash and Crash Team Racing
As for Crash Twinsanity, We played the game together, Taking turns each death, It was kinda hard for us first-timers, We did the same thing for Crash Bandicoot 2 and Crash Bandicoot 3 (The first Crash bandicoot game was too hard to even consider and we were too young)
Don't get me wrong, I understand why people don't like these three mentioned games and i actually agree, But my opinion is based on fun i had that made me see these games as something good to be existed
But sad shame that none of them won’t get remake man

@@MSCLeap75 when I first played it I didn't even know or notice it was unfinished or a buggy mess. I only knew when people talked about it.
@@specterrific304 It's possible to play without experiencing lots of glitches(it's not Sonic 06) on your first try, but you'll usually experience them more the more you play it. When I first played it as a kid, I realized it was unfinished due to how quickly I beat it due to it being so short and lacking a lot of content that's in the concept arts that you unlock after collecting gems.
My fav is crash boom bang tbh.. Most realistic graphics just like halo

Mind over Mutant was my least favorie of the PS2 titles, so I'm pretty surprised too lol.
But honestly, I genuinely like all 6 PS2 games despite their various flaws. I enjoy playing Warped a lot more than the average person, that's for sure lol.
Also, I love playing Crash Bash multiplayer, I would play the "Polar Panic" game on loop, but the adventure mode is pretty dull.

if youve got one of them cheap gba handheld emulators i recommend crash ntranced its a quality if short sidescrolling platformer with hidden gems et all.
When I was young I loved Crash TWOC and today I still like it but the game is very boring with some levels.
Crash Twinsanity, I finish it not long ago and I really love it because there's some great ideas in the gameplay but this game is not finish unfortunatly. There's a lot of bug.
Crash Nitro Kart and Tag Team Racing, I never really played them.
Crash of The Titans, I really don't like it (but it's just my opinion) and I never played mind over mutant
But the GBA games especially Huge Adventure and N-Tranced are really really good in my memories.
