i used to own a 2013 ram rt and it was a hell of a nice truck, traded it in 2 years later for a 2014 mustang gt convrtable and i regret it in alot of ways

Apart from the obvious differences in size, what makes you regret about changing the truck for the Mustang?

I need to get one of these before they stop making them. First 3 moves: intake, tune, exhaust. K&N or Mopar CAI, flowmaster Outlaws on it so it's louder than fuck, and a professional tune

I don’t like how they got rid of the gear shifter in the middle to that turn knob junk.

Cruise Dleifsnam thats the only thing holding me back from RAM.
Look for a 2013 and under, that's what I did. Didn't like the fact that I wasn't getting the truck that i like just because of a turn knob junk.
Its a gimmick that comes along with the 8 speed zf trans. They still sell the 6 speed in the Express and some lower end trucks. Thats what i have in mine, mind you its not as good of a trans
the round dial is nice. you get used to it like anything else. its an 8 speed so truthfully unless you have a manual trans the shifter on an auto is just in the way. this design clears up the center console for storage.
Does this have a different time to the 5.7 Hemi or something? Is there actually any different preformance difference than the regular version? Or is it all cosmetic?
Rear ended is different and transmission shifting big difference owed a regular express single and got a rt handles way different

It's just the sport with fancy rims and a badge. When These were in production, if you went on the ram truck went you had to select sport, 4x2, and regular cab to get the r/t. Before 2013, it was a separate model.

Why do the 0-60 in Eco mode???
Eco mode is merely an indicator of when the engine kicks into 4 cyl mode. It doesnt change the performance. Tow/haul will change shift points, if you want more kick while cruising around town. But at full throttle it won't change the 0-60 time.
*So are RT models All 4x4 ??*
IDABAYAREA650I the R/T is not available in 4x4 only 2wd. You can get a regular cab SPORT edition which is available in 4x4 and almost the same features just without the r/t badge.

bryan alcala same truck just more luxury (leather, bigger wheels, nag screen, heated seats, etc) and has an 8 speed transmission and 3.92 gears so it’s a little faster than the express.
You can get the 8 speed and 3.92 gears in the express, if speed is all you care about. But for creature comforts the Sport or RT is the way to go.

Gorgeous truck but it needs a K&N cold air intake and flowmaster pipes
Intakes do do anything and flowmasters are for gay only, u need a tune , headers ported TB and manifold , high flow injection system and straight piped 3" dual lines and 5" tips
@@damnram5773 I always thought putting in a K&N cold air intake would give it some power and give it some noise. Flowmasters are usually in mustangs. they sound good but 5 inch tips will sound better

Depends on how well you take care of if, and maintain it
There's a lot of 5.7L with near or over 200k miles im sure you'll run into typical issues over time but it should last a long time

I recently got mine. 2016 RT it is quick for a truck.....everywhere you go people stare
it does and it will. it is only .5 second slower than the SRT10 in the 1/4 mile. All from a 5.7 Hemi!
When I test drove one it felt slow. But it's just that smooth that it doesn't feel fast. Numbers don't lie though, outrun almost all trucks.
Dodge should always have a performance variant of their trucks. It's the Hellcat and Demon that made Dodge the cool kid on the block again. Sales went through the roof for them. Keep that momentum up and give us more performance trucks. It is those halo vehicles that give all Dodge cars a cooler image. They shouldn't look at the actual sales of the performance variant, they should look if their sales stayed strong or went up with their other models. I'm betting whenever they have really cool halo cars the rest of their sales pickup. When they get rid of them or quit making unique cool cars....sales plummet.
That’s why there are about 13 different trim levels for the Challenger. You gave tour regular, and your halo version.

Big D Dodge has pretty much had a halo truck every decade. Lil Red express, Shelby Dakota, Dakota R/T , Rumble Bee, SRT 10, R/T.
The one thing they should do with the sport versions is have it lowered from the factory.
You can’t tell me that they don’t sell enough regular 1500 quad/crew cabs that they can’t make a RCSB halo truck.

I think this would have been a way better truck if they would have dropped a 6.4 and a 6 speed manual trans in it, If your gonna make a sport truck, make it fun and a little sketchy lol
Definitely agree but then it wouldn’t be an RT. It would be more of an SRT. Hopefully they come out with one like this for the new 5th gens

Nelson Bardsley oh i already have mine on my blackout express (broke boy ram lmfaooo) its pretty mint, only 1500s i fuck with are sports and expresses cuz they have the nice front end. If u buy the mopar rt badge it comes and its the right size but first time i ordered one it had one of the prongs that stick into the grille broken, i called and they sent me a new one no extra charge
