Appreciate all the work in the graphics, the commentary and live tutorial! You made this very approachable and easy to follow. I hadn't been planning to make any circular buildings, central sorting rooms, or anything of the like, but I'm suddenly both more interested and well equipped to do so!

Nice job with the graphic overlays, that made this super easy to understand. I really like the idea of a dedicated organics processing facility and never considered that before so I might go build my own! I don't think I have the patience for circular construction though (as nice as it looks) so mine will just be rectangular.
Thanks, mate! I'm glad it helped out. I started my current save with a manual-load organics processing before I even had smart splitters so we all have to start somewhere. The only reason I made this one was because I was tired of having to do that. Minor annoyances are catalysts for innovation :)

It's not a waste specifically because it's finite! I think of it like this: I only leave my factory so often to gather slugs and other valuables I can't mine and that's the only time where I will be gathering alien parts. I would rather see the extra DNA points than have a few extra Sloops that I already have too many of.
@DSJeezy I only mean don't aliens respawn? Slugs for sure should be slooped. But if you have lots of extra sloops then for sure using them better than not.
@@Hossimo Yeah they respawn in areas you haven't paved over but I'd rather the alien bits I do get on my limited excursions go as far as they can rather than having to gather twice as many for the same result. The combat is pretty good for it being a game about building factories, but I mostly want to spend time building factories.
