EXCELLENT SOURCE For Cactus Thorns And Hundred Needels Items! Also It's Worth Noting, That That Steam Room Makes A GOOD SOURCE Of Bombs, For Bomb Spirit Items.
Luck Ups can also be refined from the Curse Spikes you mug from the Tri-Faces in the previous area too! Which is very useful for your Kamikaze character since luck determines your chances for critical hits!

Here's the fastest way to devour Behemoths without the inconsistency. There are two types of Behemoths here, level 95 and level 100, and there's no way to know which one. The level 95 Behemoth has more or less 64k HP and Level 100 one has at least 66k HP. Method 01: Kamikaze Have someone with the following 01: lvl-up (Tonberrie's command ability) 02: Darkside (Diablos, Eden, and Doomtrain ability) and 255 Str 03: Kamikaze. 04: Revive (Alexander abilty). But don't junction it to someone with Kamikaze 05: Status attack with 100 Berserk on it. Here's the order 1st: Use lvl-up ability on Behemoth, so it will have 66k HP. 2nd: If the Kamikaze unit is down, use Revive, otherwise skip this step. 2rd: Use Kamikaze. 3th: If it deals 49950, use darkside and deal another 9999 dmg, if 60k skip this step. 4th: Do normal attack using Squall, 5200 more of less. At this point you've dealt around 65k dmg on the Behemoth. Finally, Use devour. Repeat if it fails. Method 2: Darksiding. This method will guarantee 9999 damage for each Darkside use. 01: Have someone with lvl-up ability 02: All party members should have 255 Str 03: Junction everyone with Darkside 04: Have someone with status attack with 100 berserk. ¿Doesn't the forced rare encounter glitch make this method obsolete? Behemoth appears in the world map near the Lunatic Pandora late in Disc 3, meaning it should be possible to farm/Devour them then without going through all the hassle of keeping Ultima Weapon alive, plus allowing to save after every battle and easily rotate party members. EDIT: I checked and for some reason the forced rare encounter glitch does *not* work with Behemoth encounters in the Esthar region. Or rather, it works oddly. Instead of a repeat the previous encounter, reloading right after a random encounter with a Behemoth always result in a not-so-random encounter with an Iron Giant. I tried both winning and escaping the fight before reloading, and the result was always a fight against an Iron Giant.
In the android version of the game. The Behemoth has very low health....sometimes it just dies on his own after casting Flare or any magic he had.....some times i tried to mug him to check if he had any item( after learning Rare item with Bahamut).....and mug dealt 1.5k dmg and it just died....even tried using selphie lv8 with no junctions and Str of 20 or so and she dealt 90dmg not...90k 900...90😅...and killed it WTF???? I'm so cunfused

How you can devour without getting Eden first? Ie passing this section. I’ve gone back several times an the area doesn’t haven’t fixed encounters anymore.
Theirs only 1 way but NOT worth it the ITEM you get by MODDING Pu Pu's card the only card the CC Club won't EVER play once you MOD it becomes the GF item that teaches a GF Devour that's why its NOT worth it.

I seem to remember a guide on the devour skill warning against certain enemies because they could reduce your stats. I wander, is it still the same?

There's actually another way through Angelo Search, but you have to get lucky. Angelo can pick up a Hungry Cookpot but the chances are 1/288.
By using angelo search and go to sleep. Let angelo farm items while you sleep.

Yes, I believe so. I got my luck to 130 something and it was critting most of the time.

TIP: Attach Silence to Squall’s StAtk to prevent Behemoth’s Meteor attack.. Renders the poor guy almost defenseless..
Has anyone timed how many Stat ups you get with Gil trick + Esther shop refines per hour? I did that method long ago but forgot how quick/slow it was.

No sadly, the absolute damage cap in this game is 60,000.
I got impatient. I wanted eden so bad. I have regrets.
You can still get all your stats up without this trick with the exception of luck, evade and hit%
