We the vast majority of Muslims and followers of the Prophet Muhammad's Sunnah love Imam Hassan and Hussein and Ahl'Albayit. The false claim that Shia make that Ahl Sunnat Muhammad pbuh don't love his family is a fallacy. I dare any Shia to go into a Sunni Masjid and curse Ahl Albaiyt and we will see if they walk out the same way they walked in. It wasn't until they came to your Ancestors they were slaughtered and killed by Ahl'Al-Kuffa where the majority is Shia and until this day are paying the price for the betrayal of our beloved Imam Hussein, Hassan, and Ali peace be upon them all. In 661 CE, after Ali's assassination, Hasan ibn Ali attained to the caliphate.
There was a military conflict between Caliph Ali and Muawiya ibn Abu Sufyan (see Battle of Siffin); and to avoid the agonies of a further civil war, Hasan signed the Hasan-Muawiya treaty with Muawiyah.
According to the treaty, Hasan ceded the caliphate to Muawiyah but the latter could name no successor during his reign; instead, he was to let the Islamic world choose its successor afterward.
But this Muawiyah appointed Yezidi as the next caliphate and this Yezidi murdered imam Houssein aleyhi salam at Karbala.

When Imam Ali (RA) was ELECTED to be the leader of the Islamic Khalifa he requested that Muawiya give him bay3ah. He refused because he wanted the murders that killed his cousin Uthman (RA). Ashia (RA The mother of the believers and last wife of Prophet Muhammad pbuh) went out with an Army to execute those Murders that killed Uthman (RA), which is Ashia's cousin as well, whom hid in Imam Ali's
army. Battle of the 🐫. When Ashia (RA) got there she met with Imam Ali along with other Sahabah and came to an agreement to execute those murders. When the murders found out they waited until night time and started killing people when people woke they thought the battle begun hence the battle of 🐫. Alhamdulillah Imam Ali (RA) was victorious and sent Aisha and the others that came with her back to Mecca. Then the battle between Imam Ali and Muawiya got to a point where both sides could not reach an agreement. Eventually an assassination was put into play for Muawiya, Ali, and Amir Ibn Al3as on the same day. Sadly Ali was the only one that died in Kuffa by betrayal. Imam Hassan became the next leader of the Islamic Khalifa but like you said he stepped down and gave it to Muawiya WILLINGLY WITHOUT A FIGHT. Eventually he was killed in Kuffa, Iraq just like his father Imam Ali and later his brother Hussein will fall victim to the betrayal of the Kuffins. I agree Muawiya was wrong to appoint his son when there were Sahabah much more qualified which is why Abdullah Ibn Al'Zuobair rejected Yazid along with many other Sahabah in Mecca and Medina and was killed after a long battle against the army of Yazid. In Iraq the tribes of Kuffah sent LETTERS CLAIMING THEIR ALLEGIANCE TO IMAM HUSSEIN Imam HUSSEIN (RA) trusted these liars and set out to lead the Muslims with the support of the Kuffin tribes. On his way there he sent his nephew Muslim (RA) ahead. Muslim (RA) was killed and an army of 5,000 out of KUFFA from the same tribes that promised to support him ended up killing Imam Hussein and his family. We know the horrors that your Ancestors committed. After their betrayal of Imam Hussein (RA) and many members of his family they didn't regret what they did they didn't only deny that they committed this gruesome crime your Ancestors the Shia started to ask others for the blood of Imam Hussein something that has never been done in history. In simple words those Kuffins and the people of Karbala the land of Kurribb and Balaa killed Imam Hussein and carried his body to the grave while crying and later blamed others for the murder they committed! Like I said when Imam Ali, Imam Hassan, and Imam Hussein and their blessedly family peace be upon them all were living in Mecca and Medina under the LEADERSHIP of ABU BAKKER, OMAR, UTHMAN (RA) they lived in peace and unharmed. Only when they went to your Ancestors did they become victims and meat for those hyenas. May Allah swt deal with all those that lie and twist the facts to mislead the people. Mu'awiah was Yazid's Dad. There are two things that Imam Hassan ( as ) did not do. He did not appoint Yazid's dad as a Caliph . He did not give his Holy and infallible allegience to Yazid's dad. Yazid's dad had waged a war already with Imam Hussein ( as ) 's dad, Imam Ali ( as ) . The Battle was at Siffeen . History wishes to cover up the father like son similarities , between Mu'awiah and Yazid . Why ? Because Umar ibn al Khattab during the time of his Caliphate gave the governance of Shaam to Mu'awiah . This makes him complicit , & a forerunners to a government that was responsible for finally cornering and then killing Imam Al Hussein ( AS ) on the battlefield of Karbala .

We love ahlul bayt. We adore ahlul bayt more than we love ourselves. This fitna and this war that the Muslims had after the death of rasulullah salallahu 3layhiwassalaam goes to show he was the prophet of Allah and was the only one who United the Semitic tribes all over Arabia and when he passed shows he was truly the prophet of Allah. This is part of our sunnah ahlul bayt are the highest ranks of jannah we love them but we don’t make takfir on the sahaba as they were also saliheen. This issue and dispute is a fitna that unfortunately took part with the Muslims so it’s also haram to say pick sides or he was wrong or he was wrong etc. yazid didn’t order Hussein ra to be killed rather when he sent his men they acted on their own accord and were tyrannical in their approach. Yazid wanted to just confront Hussein ra and talk it over but he sent his men and the men martyred him. On qiyama they are for Allah to judge, and Hussein ra is of the saliheen

Specially the young Muslims these days: Every one around you drinks alcohol in college but you stay away and do the right thing. I've lived in USA for thirty years now and Husayn (RA) has always been my role model and my mentor on how to live and how to stand against tyranny.

The prophet (S.A.W) said, the jews will have 71 firqa(groups which all of them will enter hell) ,christians 72firqa(groups which all of them enter hell) and HIS Ummah(islam) will have 73 firqa(groups) all will enter hell except one who will go to paradise the Sahaba asked who are the one which will enter paradise. HE (S.A.W) said they are me(S.A.W) and you.(following the Sunah of the prophet (S.A.W) and the ways of the Sahaba,eg learning their biography how they lived there daily life).

Then his head being pulled apart from his body ya Allah, that incident if it was to be shown in front of us. what would our reaction would be? the head where our rasulullah used to kiss???

Asyraf Cboy no it’s a difference. There is a difference. Sunni practice differently and are a minority.
On the day of judgement; the Prophet will be standing by a pool of drinking water. The angels will tell some of the Muslims to go away and or drag them away. Prophet will ask them why. Angels will say “they changed the religion after you left”. He will say something like “get them away from me”.
There are some Shia who practice Islam in a manner that is not found in the hadiths and Quaran.
For example putting a piece of the rock under the forehead as one prays.
Giving sheiks imams spiritual superiority.
There are Sunni that pray to the dead. Asking them to pray for them.
But the biggest problem is the foundation. Sunni is based on the SWA life and guidance. That’s what we follow to the T.
I cannot say the same for our brothers and sisters who are Shia.

I used to call myself Sunni but now I call myself a Muslim. I don't recognize Sunni, Salafi, Shia or anything to be part of Islam because the only thing that it does is divide people. Those who call themselves Sunni or Salafi I want to ask them two questions. Firstly do you have any problem calling yourself Muslim? And secondly point me 1 Verse of the Quran or from the Hadiths that Mohammad (SAW) himself said the word 'sunni' or 'salafi'.
Saying Sunni or Salafi is a true Islam will only cause more fights because the Shai believe they are on the right side. And I would say the Shia are diverting from Islam. The Sunni are diverting from Islam and the Salafi are diverting from Islam because at the end of the day no matter what we call them they are sects. And Mohammad (SAW) himself said that Islam shall be divided into 73 sects. 72 will go to hell and 1 will enter paradise. And that one is where Mohammad (SAW) and the Sahaba are. If we are to call that a sect then it shall be called Muslim.

Omar Farique Brother, I am a Salafi but it's not a sect. It's just saying that you follow the path of the sahaba and messenger(s.a.w) indeed I am a muslim and I refer to myself as that, but It is a way declaring to myself as a person who is not stray from the path and follows the sahaba and messenger (s.a.w).

You dont see people doing memorials for hadhrat hamzah and all the shaheed in all the wars , all the deaths that have happend to the ones loved by Allah, good people . Theres a way to do it and from what I have learned , the way Shia sect does it is incorrect and wrong . Self harm for any reason is wrong ? Is your body not a trust from Allah? A vessel for your soul ? Not your own to harm and hurt as you feel correct?

In al-Bukhaari (6528) and Muslim (4243) it is narrated that Abu Haazim said: I heard Sahl say: I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) say: “I will reach the Cistern ahead of you. Whoever comes to it will drink and whoever drinks from it will never thirst again. Some people will come to me whom I will recognize and they will recognize me, but then a barrier will be placed between me and them.” Abu Haazim said: al-Nu’maan ibn Abi ‘Ayyaash heard me narrating this hadeeth and said: “Is that how you heard Sahl say it?” I said, “Yes.” He said: “I bear witness that I heard Abu Sa’eed al-Khudri add: and he [meaning the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him)] said: ‘They are from me.” And it will be said; “You do not know what they did after you were gone.” And I will say, “Away with those who changed after I was gone!”’”
