The Prophet (ﷺ) passed by `Ammar and removed the dust off his head and said, "May Allah be merciful to `Ammar. He will be killed by a rebellious aggressive group. `Ammar will invite them to (obey) Allah and they will invite him to the (Hell) fire." Sahih al-Bukhari 2812.
Allah blessed us with not being there and kept our hands clean from the blood of the sahaba so let's keep our tongues clean of our brothers that preceded us in faith may Allah for give them and forgive us

ShiaMuslim you were the people who caused fitna and martryed most of the sahaba and Ali ra and used derogatory remark against them ra and you are still doing the same .may allah have curse on those people who caused fitna back then and who does now.
Man even though the sahabas knew better, it still hurts to know that men who used to live in the same city who are cousins and brothers and fought together against the enemies of Islam to be fighting against each other

None can ever meet the dust of the feet of the Sahaba as the most beautiful and essential blessing with them was the Company Of The Prophet SAW. They all were please with Allaah Rabbul Izzah and Allaah Rabbul Izzah is Pleased with them all. So whatever was inbetween then was inbetween them. We shall be accounted for our deeds not for others. But for sure there's a time coming when We shall be blessed by Allaah Rabbul Izzah to fight The People Of Fitna again under the leadership of Imaam Mehdi AS In Shaa Allaah. May Allaah Rabbul Izzah protect us and help us to be of use to his deen.
Tareekh Khalifah ibn Khayyat page 182: يا أيها الناس أتنصتون؟ فجعلوا يركبونه ولا ينصتون، فما زادأن قال: أف أف فراش نار He (Talha radiallahuanhu) was shouting to the angry people: “O people will you listen?” and they started riding their horses and camels ignoring him so he complained angrily: “Uff! Uff! You are like moths heading to the fire” In brief the scholars and historians agree on the role of the Sabains in starting the battle whether they called them “the corrupt elements” or “the thugs from both parties” or “the killers of ‘Uthman” or “al-Sufahaa” or openly calling them“al-Sabaiyyah” ‘Ali told his caller to call: “O people cease the fighting” but he was ignored and the battle raged on and it was divided into two rounds, the first round was from Fajr to Zuhr and the leaders of the army of Basarah were Talha and al-Zubair as recorded in al-Khulafaa al-Rashidun by al-Khalidi page 245. ‘Ali and Talha and al-Zubair called on their men: لا تقتلوا مدبرًا، ولا تُجهزوا على جريح، ولا تلحقوا خارجًامن المعركة تاركًا لها “Do not kill anyone who turned his back to you, do not finish-off the wounded, do not follow those who flee the battle.”
watched the entire video and throughout the entire time felt what will happen next..this requires a very good level of knowledge about the seerah of Prophet SAW in order to recognize the characters and unbiased judgement otherwise those of us who lacks proper Ilm will draw wrong conclusions. The sheikh talks about the context and gives a lot of details. It is also mentioned the opinions of the scholars of the present and past of which sahabi was closer to the truth. I highly recommend Yasir Qadhi's lecture series on the Sererah which has 100+ lectures at over 100 hours. He also has a separate lecture series just as big on the Sahaba with hour long lectures on one Sahabi on some major and minor Sahabas. He has about 5-10 hours each on Abu Bakr, Umar, Uthman and Ali that especially sheds light on the background and context of the First Fitna.
Not all people were perfect so does sahabi and they were making mistakes doesnt meant they were doing wrong..its all happen because of one jew and weak muslim who follow that jew

The Prophet (ﷺ) passed by `Ammar and removed the dust off his head and said, "May Allah be merciful to `Ammar. He will be killed by a rebellious aggressive group. `Ammar will invite them to (obey) Allah and they will invite him to the (Hell) fire." Sahih al-Bukhari 2812.
Abu Sa’id al-Khudri reported: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Do not insult my companions. Yes, these 1000 people of fitna grew, and nobody knew exaclty where they were, and they made the best of muslims fight against each other, so that death doesn't come to them; they made all sort of Plans, that the good muslims where busy fighting against each other, without knowing the full picture and wallahi after watching the video, both of the good muslims had their reasons, and they handled upon that which they knew, but it was all a game, and they were trapped,

Much of the setting and historical context will naturally be missing when dealing with said situations, since a lot can happen in a short time, and not everything will be documented which will naturally affect one's perception of it in hindsight. With that said, I can't understand why Ali (RA) didn't himself go to Aisha (RA) and Muawiya (RA) - sending messengers can go either way, as he discovered with Muawiya. This was a major crisis, and there was a need for damage control, but also unambiguity considering what was at stake. Also, I'm not entirely sure why he gathered an army against Muawiya. If all Muawiya wanted was to avenge Uthman (RA), then Ali should have colluded with him, identify the murderers and just take them out. That sounds a lot easier than to gather 120k men to fight 90k men, all of whom are brethren, and spill a lot of blood in the process. It looks like there were a number of strategical mishaps, and ample miscommunication - Although vision is always 20/20 in hindsight. In any case, they are in the divine courts now, so we'll leave it at that.
sha2132 I agree with you.. If Ali(RA) join the army of Muawiya(RA) it will save a lot of our brothers life. Cox if they both are looking for the murderers of Osman(RA) then there is no point to fight each other. even the army of Aisha(RA) are looking for the murderers of Osman(RA)... but in this case the real murderers get away with it. and lost a lots of innocent life's. But yet who am I to judge the Sahaba(RA)s of Rasulullah(SAW). this is only my view...Wallahi Allah knows best about this.

If Aisha didn’t leave home 1,400 years of bloodshed spared. Prophet (saw) & Quran warned her not to leave and disobey to be like other obedient wives. She chose war & fitnah corrupting billions. I just came to know more about the first fitna, The only question that hits my mind is why Ali (RA) was hesitant to take the revenge of Usman (RA) despite having Muawiyyah (RA) army willing to pledge to him in case Ali (RA) agree. yet he preferred a battle against (The mother of the believers army) and Muawiyyah (RA) and not against the people of fitna. The people of fitna being in large numbers , ambiguous and scattered in the army is only reason I can think of. I sincerely want someone to educate me on the topic, probably share some links so I can read more and benefit.
mu'awiyya he is the one who had killed Sayyadi Hassan bin Ali bin hazarat Fatima bint muhammad a.s. And his appointed his son as leader position Yazid bin ma'awiyya. And Yazid he is the one who had order his commander Ubaidullah bin ziyad to kill imam Hussain and prophet muhammad family and also he did. more over the mother of mu'awiyya hind she is the one who paid the slave to kill prophet muhammad uncle Hazarat Hamza. and the slave did. Still some sunni their keeping calling yazin and mu'awiyya heroes. Wallahi am not a shi'i but i noticed that those people don't like prophet muhammad family and their calling them self sunni
@@osmanht1327 I have Rafidhi. Muawiyah is one of the best sahabi and one of the best Caliphs to rule. He of course had some faults but companions arent infallible. Hasan RA wasnt killed by him. That's Rawafid bs.

Aisha and Muawiya RA wanted to bring the killers of Uthman RA to justice. Ali RA said he would bring them to justice, but it was difficult because the Ummah was beginning to split into different groups. Ali RA's main concern was keeping the Ummah united. He was correct to do this, because the stability of the Ummah is more important than avenging the death of 1 man, even if that man was Uthman RA

the best rule was Hazarat Muhammad PBUH Every Leader muslim, non muslim, Every leader from the past, the present. Why didn't Ali just agree to join with the Bani Umaiyyah instead of taking the pledge by force? If people are not following his order as the Khalifah, then he could just resign and not further divide the Ummah? This I don't understand. Please clarify. He said the army of Aisha, Zubayr etc should support him from within so he would have power eventually from the people of Fitna. But when they didn't, Ali should've join them instead to avoid dividing the ummah. Earlier part where he said to bide their time until he (Ali) could gain more power than people of Fitna makes sense but when there are overwhelming opposition of doing what he says, he should have scrap the idea to gather power from within/making people pledging to him while he was surrounded by people of Fitna. He could've save the further Fitna himself by stick to what the majority wants. He should have left and join the Sahabah and Aisha instead of holding to the Khalifah position which is the people of Fitna holds it for their narrative against Uthman's loyalist.
Ali (Ra) made a mistake by forcing people to pledge yes, but they should have pledge to him tho, just not being forced to it, you see the same reason why Ali doing this is the same reason why Uthman (Ra) didn't give up as a khalifa, is because if the people see the great companions of the prophet (PBUH) give up on khilafa this easily they would lose confidence on them as leaders and the future islam leaders would do this act often because we all follow those great companions of the prophet So simply Ali should have not force people to pledge to him and other Sahaba should have not ruch into the revenge, in the end it's just human mistakes and if it was personal you would see the Great companions killing each other after the battles, like Ali kills Muawiyah or Aisha or others.

Narrated to us Qutaybah ibn Sa`id and Muḥammad ibn `Abbad, and they converged in saying, they said “Narrated to us Ḥatim, and he is the son of Isma`il, from Bukayr ibn Mismar, from `Amir ibn Sa`d ibn Abi Waqqaṣ, from his father, he said “Mu`awiyah ibn Abi Sufyan appointed Sa`d (as the Governor), then said:
“What prevents you from abusing Abu Turab (`Ali),” whereupon be said: “It is because of three things which I remember Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) having said about him that I would not abuse him and even if I find one of those three things for me, it would be dearer to me than the red camels. I heard Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) say about `Ali as he left him behind in one of his campaigns (that was Tabuk). `Ali said to him: “Allah's Messenger, you leave me behind along with women and children.” Thereupon Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said to him: “Aren't you satisfied with being unto me what Aaron was unto Moses but with this exception that there is no Prophet-hood after me?” And I (also) heard him say on the Day of Khaybar: “I would certainly give this standard to a person who loves Allah and his Messenger, and Allah and his Messenger love him too.” He (the narrator) said: “We had been anxiously waiting for it, when he (the Prophet) said: “Call `Ali.” He was called and his eyes were inflamed. He applied saliva to his eyes and handed over the standard to him, and Allah gave him victory.” (The third occasion is this) when the (following) verse was revealed: “Let us summon our children and your children.” Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) called `Ali, Faṭimah, Al-Ḥasan and Al-Ḥusayn and said: “O Allah, they are my family.”””””

Tareekh Khalifah ibn Khayyat page 182:
يا أيها الناس أتنصتون؟ فجعلوا يركبونه ولا ينصتون، فما زادأن قال: أف أف فراش نار
He (Talha radiallahuanhu) was shouting to the angry people: “O people will you listen?” and they started riding their horses and camels ignoring him so he complained angrily: “Uff! Uff! You are like moths heading to the fire”
In brief the scholars and historians agree on the role of the Sabains in starting the battle whether they called them “the corrupt elements” or “the thugs from both parties” or “the killers of ‘Uthman” or “al-Sufahaa” or openly calling them“al-Sabaiyyah”
‘Ali told his caller to call: “O people cease the fighting” but he was ignored and the battle raged on and it was divided into two rounds, the first round was from Fajr to Zuhr and the leaders of the army of Basarah were Talha and al-Zubair as recorded in al-Khulafaa al-Rashidun by al-Khalidi page 245.
‘Ali and Talha and al-Zubair called on their men:
لا تقتلوا مدبرًا، ولا تُجهزوا على جريح، ولا تلحقوا خارجًامن المعركة تاركًا لها
“Do not kill anyone who turned his back to you, do not finish-off the wounded, do not follow those who flee the battle.”

An answer to your question requires a lot of information, and I fear I
forgotten all of the context of what happen. But let me give you a link to three videos. The sheikh talks about the context and gives a lot of details. It is also mentioned the opinions of the scholars of the present and past of which sahabi was closer to the truth.

I highly recommend Yasir Qadhi's lecture series on the Sererah which has 100+ lectures at over 100 hours. He also has a separate lecture series just as big on the Sahaba with hour long lectures on one Sahabi on some major and minor Sahabas. He has about 5-10 hours each on Abu Bakr, Umar, Uthman and Ali that especially sheds light on the background and context of the First Fitna.
Not all people were perfect so does sahabi and they were making mistakes doesnt meant they were doing wrong..its all happen because of one jew and weak muslim who follow that jew

The fitnah was partly the fault of Mu`awiyah ibn Abu Sufyan, if you read Sunni aḥadith like these:

The Prophet (ﷺ) passed by `Ammar and removed the dust off his head and said, "May Allah be merciful to `Ammar. He will be killed by a rebellious aggressive group. `Ammar will invite them to (obey) Allah and they will invite him to the (Hell) fire."

Abu Sa’id al-Khudri reported: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Do not insult my companions. If one of you were to spend the likes of mount Uhud in gold, it would not reach a small portion of theirs or even half of that.”

Much of the setting and historical context will naturally be missing when dealing with said situations, since a lot can happen in a short time, and not everything will be documented which will naturally affect one's perception of it in hindsight.
With that said, I can't understand why Ali (RA) didn't himself go to Aisha (RA) and Muawiya (RA) - sending messengers can go either way, as he discovered with Muawiya. This was a major crisis, and there was a need for damage control, but also unambiguity considering what was at stake.
Also, I'm not entirely sure why he gathered an army against Muawiya. If all Muawiya wanted was to avenge Uthman (RA), then Ali should have colluded with him, identify the murderers and just take them out. That sounds a lot easier than to gather 120k men to fight 90k men, all of whom are brethren, and spill a lot of blood in the process.
It looks like there were a number of strategical mishaps, and ample miscommunication - Although vision is always 20/20 in hindsight. In any case, they are in the divine courts now, so we'll leave it at that.

I just came to know more about the first fitna, The only question that hits my mind is why Ali (RA) was hesitant to take the revenge of Usman (RA) despite having Muawiyyah (RA) army willing to pledge to him in case Ali (RA) agree. yet he preferred a battle against (The mother of the believers army) and Muawiyyah (RA) and not against the people of fitna.
The people of fitna being in large numbers , ambiguous and scattered in the army is only reason I can think of.
I sincerely want someone to educate me on the topic, probably share some links so I can read more and benefit.

After death of uthman ra the ummah split into two sects sunnis and shiites and the fitnah continuous till this day
The only fighting comes from the ones with hate in their hearts. We are one Islam
Aisha and Muawiya RA wanted to bring the killers of Uthman RA to justice. Ali RA said he would bring them to justice, but it was difficult because the Ummah was beginning to split into different groups. Ali RA's main concern was keeping the Ummah united. He was correct to do this, because the stability of the Ummah is more important than avenging the death of 1 man, even if that man was Uthman RA

Why didn't Ali just agree to join with the Bani Umaiyyah instead of taking the pledge by force? If people are not following his order as the Khalifah, then he could just resign and not further divide the Ummah?
This I don't understand. Please clarify. He said the army of Aisha, Zubayr etc should support him from within so he would have power eventually from the people of Fitna. But when they didn't, Ali should've join them instead to avoid dividing the ummah.
Earlier part where he said to bide their time until he (Ali) could gain more power than people of Fitna makes sense but when there are overwhelming opposition of doing what he says, he should have scrap the idea to gather power from within/making people pledging to him while he was surrounded by people of Fitna. He could've save the further Fitna himself by stick to what the majority wants.
He should have left and join the Sahabah and Aisha instead of holding to the Khalifah position which is the people of Fitna holds it for their narrative against Uthman's loyalist.
Ali (Ra) made a mistake by forcing people to pledge yes, but they should have pledge to him tho, just not being forced to it, you see the same reason why Ali doing this is the same reason why Uthman (Ra) didn't give up as a khalifa, is because if the people see the great companions of the prophet (PBUH) give up on khilafa this easily they would lose confidence on them as leaders and the future islam leaders would do this act often because we all follow those great companions of the prophet
So simply Ali should have not force people to pledge to him and other Sahaba should have not ruch into the revenge, in the end it's just human mistakes and if it was personal you would see the Great companions killing each other after the battles, like Ali kills Muawiyah or Aisha or others.
