They are the same in terms of dimension and shape. The only difference is that the new ones have Allen key type bolt whereas the old ones use the octagonal nut shape to remove/install the links. It's quite common to find this differences in aftermarket parts.

I don’t think it’s possible to do it with the car on the ground as it’s weight will put pressure on the suspension and it will be hard to remove the nuts and even harder to properly align the part when installing. As well it might be dangerous to remove suspension components if the car is not properly lifted. So, it will be necessary to remove the tires to carry out this job.
My old links are loose and the new ones are tight. Wasn't sure if that was an accident it or not, but this video answered it. Thanks so much!

So you’re not going to torque it under load? Unless your other tire is also on a jack, it’s gonna need replacing in another few months
