Pleased to see you exploring Indonesian street food, it’s quite a shift from Indo Chinese cuisine. With the ubiquitous satay sauce in Indonesian cuisine, I think there’s an overlap in many dishes so you can literally have these together - skewered Satay meat, Gado Gado, Lengko Rice and Tahu Goreng with the more common ingredients between them being rice or lontong (rice cake), cucumber, bean sprouts & possibly tofu/tahu. For Gado Gado you can throw in a lot of veg variety like long bean, green bean, cauliflower, carrot, kang kong (water spinach), boiled potato, prawn cracker (keropok), boiled egg, fish cake or even crab stick (surimi), prawns but I guess you can also make a noodle salad dish out of these (imagine smothered with heavenly peanut sauce)! My mouth is watering at the thought of such a food adventure. I agree that Mutton or Kambing satay is the best due to the fatty bits around the meat that gives extra flavour and Chicken satay being the least tasty for me personally.

Lots of street food around it and a sit down restaurant with Indonesian cuisine in the mini-mall, Citywalk Sudirman. My loves the beef cracklings.
