❤️🎶❤️ The sound of this magnificent guitar is perfect for interpreting this lovely composition by Joe 👍 👏👏👏 These notes are a real caress to the ears and to the heart !!! Thank you Carter Vintage Guitars, thank you Joe 🙏🙏🙏
A very fine instrument in the hands of man that uses them so well. Hard to imagine what times were like in America when that was made. Imagine the music that guitar has played, the people, the talent, real life every single minute. I enjoy this show, and all the content. Always looking for the notifications. Been watching for about 6 months and I've never seen a fender acoustic guitar played by anyone and I know they exist. I have one and have never seen one, other than mine. 66 Fender King. plays easy
Great playing and amazing guitar. The early d28''s are unreal I've got a 37' I picked up from Carters and there is nothing like it. They're huge sounding, super responsive, dynamic and alive, a little scooped and bright compared to the rear shifted models. The projection and sound is huge, its like they almost have a little bit over their own built in reverb in the guitar and you can hear that in this. I'm lucky enough to have a 40 D28 as well which is also phenomenal but the forward shifted guitars especially 36 -37 are just something special.
Such beautiful playing of a stunning instrument. Joe is a true artist and the Martin had such a rich and full tone. Kudos for the restoration as well as the video and audio production. Looks and sounds great! 1936 eh? Wow!
I would love to play it, but I don't want to own it, even if I won the lottery. A guitar like that deserves someone who can make it sing, and that's just not mw.
Joe is so amazing. I wish he played this as his main guitar rather than the Maton, which are fine guitars but just don't sound as good as this Martin, to my old ears.
Great guitar, huge bass, sustain, but it's not suitable for this music at all. Even according to the design features of the dreadnought , which caused small errors and flaws to slip through .Such dynamics are very difficult to control, especially the bass, you can hear Joe struggling with the instrument. A great, gorgeous guitar, but not for this style.
Lol what. It sounds wonderful. A d28, especially a prewar one, is suited for any type of music. On fact it's refreshing to hear this style instead of bluegrass. People are starting to think they're designed only for bluegrass which so absolutely ridiculous
That old Martin has great dynamics and timbre and so does Joe. A marriage made in Heaven. I hope you bought it Joe.💁🏻♂️
These old Martins just get better and better
Joes one of the best finger style artists on the planet. Nice to see a old Martin Dread finger picked for a change
Smokin Joe - such an elegant player. really gifted young chap
Beautiful. I bought my D28 new, it turns 50 next year...they are fine instruments!
Match made in heaven, otherworldly sounding guitar and playing , terrific
Amazing sounding, fine D28 . . . fantastic playing by Joe Robinson! Joe, we love your "Flow!"
That's easily one of the best guitars I've ever heard. Good lord, if it sounds like that recorded... Folk n' roll y'all.
Amazing guitar. Phenomenal player.
Sounds better than anything I have ever played. Doesn't hurt that it is being played by a true master.
Great sound and most important a great player! Rock on folks 🔥🎸 Cheers!

Love Joe Robinson. He is great!
a great guitar played by a great player 🙌🏻💯🎸🐐
Beautifully played, Mr Robinson!
Amazing. What an acoustic guitar is supposed to sound like. The standard!
That guitar sounds incredible, amazing playing.

Thats a really great tune.
I believe you will one day be aCGP like Tommy and Chet. Always a delight to hear you play.A beautiful guitar.
Great performance with the best guitar!
What a sound, what a guitar.
Just shows you how dam versatile a great d28 is
My Wife and I saw him perform with Tommy Emmanuel. Great experience
That sounds amazing
Great all around
Amazing
Just beautifull!!!
This guitar sounds great!
Flow is such a good listen
Great song. It makes me reminisce of Fleetwood Mac, Armic, Strunz & Farah, and Now I feel like listening to some Jesse Cook.
1928 was the year..though for supreme quality.
Awesome. Thank you.
well played.
Awesome playing. Rare style. Minus all the repetition.
Go Joe!
My fondest wish for acoustic guitar demos: list the mic and preamp used.
Looks like an Ear Trumpet Labs Edwina.
Dang. Now that's playing...
I like that guitar a lot. But also really diggin the boots. Anyone know what kinda boots those are?
blundstones! australian classics
@@OIP_1 really?! Are they the dress boots??
So easy man ! Thanks

That’s a good one!
I would love to play it, but I don't want to own it, even if I won the lottery. A guitar like that deserves someone who can make it sing, and that's just not mw.
Those mics LOOK cool, but you need a pair of Schoeps so we can really hear the guitar.
Joe is so amazing. I wish he played this as his main guitar rather than the Maton, which are fine guitars but just don't sound as good as this Martin, to my old ears.
Woah
👌🏼
That's what I'm talkin about.
sounds sweet just like it should... alas... you need a mortgage to own one
Can I buy that or not for sale?
ma bro best😘
The player is top so the guitar is.
What is the mic preamp used?
Etmo tibale goim!
I just wanted to hear a G chord
What song is this!?
Silk
How's Walter and his wife doing?
Oh no. Sounds better than a Maton …
I’d prefer he play something a bit more technical on this guitar…. Jokes - unbelievable 😉
You all must just hate coming to work!,you hire ring?🤔
Do you know stairway to heaven?
The guitar sounds good but not extraordinary, to my ears at least.
