Funny how the boy changed his story a bit and that made him guilty, but the little girl changed her whole story and they were fine with that because it helped their narrative. They were children for God's sake!

Those “investigators” need to lose their badges, immediately. They aren’t mentally fit to solve crime, if they’re going to accuse an innocent child of a murder, meanwhile the real murderer is somewhere walking free. Disgusting.
Why should they lose their badges? They did their jobs. When the kid was released the judge said it did not mean he was innocent or guilty. There was insufficient evidence. The police did what they could. Everyone needs to stop with the thoughts of the police did not do their jobs correctly.

My wife and I know what it's like to be arrested and accused of something we were not guilty of but the Police rather than admit they were wrong locked us up for four days before appearing at court in front of three judges. After hearing our defence and explanation given personally to the Judges it took them 20 seconds to return a verdict of, Not Guilty! It was on the first day of our two week holiday to Corfu that we were arrested and as soon as we left court we arranged for the earliest flight back home. That was ten years ago and my poor wife still can't talk about it, we are in our mid 60s now and I don't think it will ever leave us. Our Irish Consul or Legal representation done little or nothing to help us.

These kids were just told their step mom was murdered. And you expect them to be able to tell a straight story!? If I was them everything would be a blur! Of course the story will change they were in a state of emotional shock! The little girl was probably saying it was Jordan because she’s little, she doesn’t know what’s going on, it was all a blur to her too.

These small town cops with no experience with murder made up their minds and that was it. They did everything wrong, didn't check for finger prints, didn't test Jordon's hands for gunshot residue, interviewed the ex-boyfriend for like an hour and a half (hmmm seemed like he was telling the truth because I can tell) and found a shell casing on the property where they regularly shoot. Yeah of course he must of done it, really? Scary stuff.

@@wayzie4329 we don't know who did it. Jordan was released with his conviction over turned. It's unfortunate he was even put in jail. The cops said he changed his story and thought he did it. Yet he didn't change his story he only added details. Kids often remember and add more Details later. He definitely didn't change his story he said he saw a truck then he added there was a man in a truck. Jordan was only 11 so you can imagine he was in shock, confused, and unaware of what was happening. His sister actually changed her story and the cops had no issue with that. However, they went after jordan over less. The girl was only 7 I think so story changing is normal and the cops could have pushed the girl to say things. Still though they didn't find who did it probably because they were so focused on jordan.
She was probably used to hearing loud bangs as they used guns a lot. A 7-year-old lying about a bang is just weird. If you think someone murdered your parent and saw people ducking in a truck, you tell them right away lol.

You start trying to remember more about the situation and you go "Did I see someone in the truck?" and that eventually becomes "I did see someone in the truck." It happens with adults, it can definitely happen with an 11 year old.

There is no way in hell Jordan was able to kill his stepmom without the other stepsister to also hear the gunshot herself before she and Jordan walked to the school bus together. So that leads me to believe that either Jordan’s younger stepsister who was still at home at the time or one of the workers that came to the house actually committed the murder. And if it was the younger daughter who killed her pregnant mother then she may have done it by accident while playing around with her stepbrother’s rifle, not knowing that it was indeed loaded. Or if it was one of the lawn workers, he may have wanted to burglarize the house or rape the poor pregnant woman but she tried to fight back and he just shot her in the head and killed her instantly.

Might be onto something there... They never looked for suspects outside the small family. They did not eliminate the most obvious possibilities 100 percent. We never hear from the family of the lady or whether she had past relationships or not. Was there a Past ex? Was maybe one of them in the police department? or maybe friends and family with someone from the police department of this small rural area?? 🤔 The scope of the investigation is very limited and and shady how quickly conclusions were made. I mean geez they stopped at all the easiest stops for their proofs and went for the most basic forensics. They almost avoid talking about anything but the gun the gauge and the gunpowder "smell" when it comes to evidence. These days even 10 years ago there are a lot more and way more sophisticated technologies some that you should almost have to bring up when you don't have the evidence and why. This is a small town with a relatively small number of families within. There were a lot of circumstances that need to be looked at and they weren't.

They found the boy's shotgun outside his room with a blanket that had a nickel sized hole in it. And in the driveway? They found a shotgun casket. That is enough evidence for me.

There have been cases where they purposly left evidence that proves innocence out of a trial just to get a conviction. Our system is set up to reward prosecutors for convictions so they want as many guilty verdicts as possible wether they are or not! Cops in general juat make me sick. They showed up to my house because a friend called and said she was worried that my son may hurt himself because he was depressed, the officer bullied my son and made him cry because he said he was fine. They were pissed that he wasnt suicidal. Now he hates cops too.
These detectives are horrible! They interviewed the ex boyfriend and let him go because they just didn’t get that gut feeling about him! He cried during the interview so it wasn’t him. 🤦🏻♀️ Awful work!

Sounds like the little girl was talked through her recollection of that morning. The police had a lot more involvement with her memory than they are letting on.

She’s 7, they definitely coaxed her or did something. Or she might have been passing on what she heard her little sister say, since the 4 year old said she heard a boom after her brother and sister were already in school.
The 11 yrs old should never have access to guns. I cannot imagine having guns not locked up and not around children.
I remember adults questioning me (many times, over lots of things), coming back to do it again, and telling me that I had changed my story. I was so confused, because it was the same memory. After questioning I did think harder about what I had seen, and if I missed anything and to remember to add anything I had missed and gave that jnfo to help them. I'm an adult now, and I can't believe these adults believe that not only can people not recollect everything on the first go, but also apply adult psychology on a child.
How ridiculous that they state police say Jordan's story changed during the second interview and stories shouldn't change BUT when the daughter tells the story for the second time and adds stuff to her version, that's why they arrested him. WOW! So some people can change their story the second time around and they are guilty, but others can tell a different story the second time and it confirms to them Jordan's guilt. How the heck does that even make sense?

They shoved batteries down his throat and inserted them into his anus before smashing his head against train tracks and leaving his body for a train to crush the following day.
The murder of Maddie Clifton - Joshua Phillips (14) murdered Maddie (8) after he accidentally hit her with a bat when they were playing. Joshua was scared of his father, and Maddie wouldn't stop crying, so he took her to his bedroom. He started to hit the same bat against her head, hoping to silence her. When that didn't work, he resorted to repeatedly stabbing her in the neck.
The Kobe Child Murders - Ayaka Yamashita (10) and Jun Hase (11) were murdered by 14 year old Shinichiro Azuma. Ayaka was beat to death with a hammer. Jun's death is a lot more gruesome. Shinichiro and Jun would play together. Jun had told him that he liked turtles, so Shinichiro told him that he knew where a group of turtles were, and he'd show them to him. Jun followed Shinichiro to a desolate spot before he was strangled to death. Shinichiro found an old warehouse and shoved Jun's body in the floorboards of it (he had initially broken the lock and stole a new one to replace the broken one). A couple days later, he had a thought whilst laying in bed that he wanted to decapitate Jun. The next day, he dug out Jun's body and beheaded him with a handsaw. He masturbated afterwards, onto the body. He cut a bit of neck off of the head, and kept it in a plastic bag. He then mutilated the head, cutting a Glasgow Smile onto it, and he used the mouth for his own sexual pleasure. He then wrote a note to the police, put it in the mouth of the head, and put the head on the gates outside of his school. He kept the piece of neck in his ceiling and wasn't discovered until months later.
The murder of James Thomas Stewart - 15 year old Morgan Leppert murdered 66 year old James Thomas Stewart so she could steal his truck and run away with her 22 year old boyfriend, Toby Lee Lowry. The beat him, stabbed him repeatedly, and suffocated him with a plastic bag. Stewart was born without hands and had breathing and health difficulties. Leppert and Lowry were found a week later.
The murder of Cecil Van Hoose - 8 year old Cecil Van Hoose was murdered by his friend, 6 year old Carl Newton Mahan. Cecil had taken a piece of metal that Carl was planning to sell, so Carl ran to his home, grabbed his father's shotgun, and killed Cecil.
Amarjeet Sada - 8 year old Amarjeet Sada murdered 3 infants, including his 6 month old sister and 9 month old cousin.
Carroll Cole - When Carroll was 8, he drowned his classmate. He grew up to murder 15+ women by strangulation.
The murder of Ronnie Greene, Jr - There's not much on this one. Nathaniel Abraham shot Greene and killed him.
The Sasebo Slashing - (In Japan, they have privacy laws against minors to protect their identity. For the Kobe Child Murders, the suspect had gotten out and released his own identity. The internet has the joke to call the perpetrator of the Sasebo slashing "Nevada Tan.") Girl A (Nevada Tan) was 11 when she murdered her classmate Satomi Mitarai, who was 12. Satomi had been reportedly harassing Girl A, so at lunch, Girl A lured Satomi into an empty classroom and stabbed her to death.
The Sasebo Schoolgirl Murder (yes, there's two) - Girl A (15) lead Aiwa Matsuo (15) to her apartment (she moved out after she beat her father with a metal bat) before murdering her and posting pictures of the crime on 2Chan. Girl A beat Aiwa with a "metal tool before strangling her to death. She later dismembered and decapitated her. Girl A told police that she "wanted to kill someone" and "bought the tools herself."
The Jonesboro Massacre - Mitchell Johnson (13) and Andrew Golden
(11) shot up their school. They killed 5 people and wounded 10 others.
The Sparks Middle School Shooting - Jose Reyes (12) opened fire on his school playground, killing a teacher (Michael Landsberry) and wounding two students (KJ Kersey and Mason Davis) before turning the gun on himself and committing suicide.
The murder of Tiffany Eunick - Lionel Tate (12) murdered Tiffany Eunick (6) when his mother was babysitting the two of them. They were left alone for about an hour. About 15 minutes into that hour, Tate's mother had called for the two of them to quiet down a bit. After the remaining 45 minutes, Tate went to his mother and said Eunick and him had been wrestling, and now she wasn't breathing. He told police he had her in a headlock and her head hit the table. This could've been ruled as an accident, if it wasn't for the fact that Eunick's autopsy reported that her brain was swollen, her skull and one of her ribs fractured, her body was covered in bruises, and her liver had been lacerated. He had been sentenced to life in prison, but the court had soon changed his sentence and he was let out 5 years later. After being let out, however, he broke probation and was found wandering with an 8-inch knife. Turns out he threatened a Domino's delivery guy with a handgun when he was at his friend's house, and after his friend wouldn't let him back inside, he beat them up.
The Murder of Craig Sorger - Sorger (13) was murdered by his two 12 year old friends Evan Drake Savoie and Jake Lee Eakin. The two invited Sorger (who was autistic) to play with them at a nearby park. Savoie asked Sorger to "feel the ground to see if it was wet" before dropping a large rock on Sorger's neck, making him fall to the ground. He then starting beating and stabbing him, Eakin following suit by beating him in the head and legs with tree limbs.

Sure there are geniuses at the age of 11 but even they do not fully understand everything and they wouldn’t even be able to get smart without the help of another individual. A kid could commit a murder but for them to be able to make a case come this far and still not have enough evidence to point to a side is very unlikely.

You could say Jordan was a patsy of opportunity for the police. So many police form a scenario in their minds and make a story fit to solve the crime.
So they say he's guilty because his interview changed, yet when the daughter went from seeing and hearing nothing to all the sudden changing it to she saw him moving the guns and heard a bang, its taken as a fact.

Miss O.P. They don't seem to understand how memories work either. Eye witness testimonies are very fallible because memories are so easily altered. People can remember more details after thinking about something for awhile and "remember" stuff that didn't even happen if there are things that influence their memories such as hearing other people's accounts of the event. One study managed to convince people they had been lost in a mall as a child just by telling them stories about them having been lost lost in a mall. The kids memories could easily be influenced and their stories changed by how the questions were asked.

They found the boy's shotgun outside his room with a blanket that had a nickel sized hole in it. And in the driveway? They found a shotgun casket. That is enough evidence for me.
@@deusexmachina8112 Why wouldn't the brother in law tell Jordan's father so they could intervene? It all sounds contrived and suspicious. They only talked to the Houks? What about Jordan's teachers? Classmates? Chris Brown's family? Calling him a "spoiled brat" sounds like her family didn't care for Jordan no matter what they claimed. The timeline of Jordan supposedly moving guns covered in a blanket doesn't fit logistically. And it is totally possible that the ex-boyfriend used the blanket to cover the gun and leave it behind. He could have also tossed the spent cartridges in the driveway. Jordan would have had blood all over him if he shot her. Where's the evidence of that? Why weren't ballistics done on the gun and the pellets in the wound? How about trajectory analysis to see if Jordan was even capable of the shooting angle/height? The 4 year old heard the shot AFTER Jordan and the 7 year old had left for school, and heard her mother's phone ring. Why didn't they check phone records for who called her & what time because that would establish time more clearly as well. All the evidence against Jordan is circumstantial and provided by people who clearly didn't care for him. The investigation was super sloppy at best. And her and Christopher's murderer is still free.
@@cindykaye3152 what doesn't make sense is that the ex boyfriend travel miles towards his ex house. As stated by police his car still had snow on top. That day it snowed and you know how cars look like when cover with layers of snow. There was no way he traveled with that kind of snow while driving towards his ex house to kill her. This therefore signaled that he indeed never ever traveled at all with his black truck. Empathy doesn't work in these kind of cases and only consistent prove.

Like they say "Justice is blind" and in a way empathy in a crime doesn't prove that the guy was guilty. Remember innocent until proven guilty.

@@kevoskryptoklik98 I have no idea what the answers to most of your questions are because I live slightly farther away now, but even when I lived where I used to I never drove past because I never had a reason to, as it was out of the way of most places I went. I have no idea if it’s entirely impossible for the child to have committed the crime because I’m not an investigator, but I personally don’t think he did it. I don’t know the family, I just remember the story being really big in the greater area. I was more so upset with the police’s handling of the situation than anything, and that’s all I remember. It was so long ago now. Sorry I don’t have more answers to your curiosity.

The kid was in school 🤦there are teachers and friends in school that could've defended his presence. And he obviously wouldn't have fired a gunshot while his sister's are there. How do these detectives skip over that fact and jump to all the other so call "evidence" that they had?
