    hi..i am very new to houdini..can you do a video on how to make cloth collisions on a pre animated object done from maya.. i saw a video of someone doing that im really wondering how that was done

    Thanks Rohan! One question- in my 'packing' example- the spheres get real jittery after they squish together. Is there a way to relax that?

      You could try increasing the substeps. If it's just for modeling purposes then just find a good frame and freeze it.

      Take some text. Polyextrude. Remesh. Vellum struts soft body. Vellum solver. Ground collision. And let it drop. That's it.

      @@ashaaibi you can use a falloff/fresnel map and connect it to a gradient ramp.

    Nice tutorial. What is that ripple effect when you click your mouse? Is that an option in Houdini?

      No, that's from my screen recording software. It gives options for left click and right click effects so they're easy to see.
