Yes, I agree especially anything four-wheel-drive. If you can run any lines inside you are way better off! just run your power lead up through the inside. I put mine under the door sill/kick plates and then up through where the clutch would normally be. There is a grommet with an elongated cap. Clear access to the engine compartment.

That looks like crap! No thanks. If you go off road always run the wires on the inside. There is a grommet on the firewall near where a clutch pedel would be if you had a manuel.
