i think every gym in america should have one of these just from the rehab purpose, how many guys do u hear complain of shoulder or rotator cuff injurys caused by too much bench, this would help and create alot of safety for alot of people if used properly
I made one from a plastic waste pipe, and then fitted a wooden pole inside with glue and screwed it along the pipe. Two wooden disks at either end to keep the straps from slipping off. It's fun getting someone to bench press with a regular bar,and then get them to use this with the same weight. with this.
This is great stuff. For those of you that do not understand how this is legit and is a gimmick. I will attempt to give a brief but technical answer of how this is not just a gimmick. You are performing a movement through it's full range of motion but your center of gravity is rapidly changing. You body must overcome that by incorporating the that stabilize your core and limbs. good idea, too many people stick with straight bench and never switch to dumbbells or something like this. About the quick rehab you experienced from your SLAP tear (assuming that's what u had)- i'm sure it was more due to your fitness level prior to surgery. When MD's say "4 months of recovery" etc, that's typically referring to the "average person" who in our society is fat, lazy, and never works out.
I too need to know the name of this song!! I've isolated a few of the lyrics but searching for them turned up nothing: "We will never be the same..." "We will never try to change what lies..." "Wait for the end..."
@lutheranshadowpriest You should look up what an ad hominem is, and why it's a logical fallacy. Then you ought to explain why my comments are 'jackass' when I consider them very reasonable; I'm sure you will agree that the Shake Weight is a gimmick, so what makes this any different? I'm eager to learn. And no, I'm from Australia (no, not the outback or a backwards community, I'm actually very progressive).
insanely difficult and Louie makes it look easy! nice work guys.

This is a really cool idea. I'd like to see the exercise done for overhead pressing too. Just imagine the stabilisation you would need for that.
Are you mad? what if it bounces backwards your going over backwards holding or dropping the load can't happen on bench risk to reward just not there
A lot trust me 🤣🤣🥲
love the metal all these videos had playing in the background!
louie you are a sick sick man. you dont just come up with new idea's and concepts , you invent them!!

What's the name of the band and song in the video?
Does it have to be bamboo?
This bar does what surf boarding does to surfers, changing direction and such.
louie your number one
Anyone know the song?
I want that bar
where can you get one of these?
bandbell.com or rogue
Why not just use dumbbells if you want to work stabilizers?
@kakamatyi2 work on your stabilizers bro. it makes you crazy strong. use a cable machine if you want to do a similar type of workout.
cwdutton,
many thanks, I was gonna lose my mind if I didn't get an i.d. on that song!

Without watching the rest of this video the whole point seems to be to work the stabilizing muscles to the max
This guy is so freakin spart
fuckin woof... and what is this song? its dope!!
@BangXD Nope but the shaking itself means nothing (hence why the Shake Weight is a useless piece of crap). Seems to me like it's a gimmick.
All that jittering! Looks evil.
