    Since DIYd mine, I used the technique where you raise the bottom of the brow up to the top of the glass and use it as a stencil. Cut sliding the blade off the edge of the glass. It's perfectly straight with the curve of the glass. No bowing (low on the sides, high in the middle) like most people's.

      @@FadeToBlackLLC For sure. I recommend trying it out. The AS1 lines up perfectly and you don't have any missing material in the middle. When I had a shop do with the factory edge a few years ago, it was 1" below as1 lines on the sides and 2" above as1 in the middle.

    Bro if you hold your blade down flat and use stainless steel blades or if you put a coat of clear liner over the glass and then cut you're not cutting into the glass....
    Save some old clear liner and then you tape it on to the glass.
    You're making a lot of work for you....

      Thanks for the tip. I adjusted the way I cut out my films and I know there are a lot of ways to get it done. Thankfully I haven't cut any glass in a long time with the new methods. I know a lot of people still cut on glass and these new vehicles are just way to soft to attempt.

      @FadeToBlackLLC  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I've done it both ways. There could be a line if you do the visor first. I usually look at the Visor and if it looks good I tell the customer the options to see what they want to afford.

    • @FadeToBlackLLC

      That's tough, it could be contamination getting under the film. How does it look after a week or so? If you still see something it's not bubbles it's most likely dirt.
