Thank you Memo I need the distraction today. My dear parrot of 25 years passed away last night and it hurts my heart. Grabbing some plants to repot with you.
Diana, I’m so sorry for your loss. 💔 Losing a companion of 25 years is incredibly hard. I’m glad you’re finding some comfort in plants and this video. Sending you lots of love and strength as you heal. 💚🌿
Thanks for this decompression video cuz I really needed it today! So much sadness and depression and anxiety today, this week! Thank you Memo for sharing your space with me today, as well as, anyone else who is feeling the same! Lots of love ❤️, Ginger
Ginger, I’m so glad this video helped you decompress! 💖 You’re not alone-sending lots of love back your way. Take care of yourself and know you’re appreciated. 🌱✨
Thank you for this video, Memo. Happy Holidays! For meeting your fans and supporters in North America, maybe make arrangements during a major/popular plant convention (eg: TPIE) week/end? Then everyone that's interested made a trip for more than just one thing. 🎄
Great idea 😊 I've done some repotting today cause I couldn't be bothered wrapping presents 😂🌿 Went to get all the food-shopping done in one go......and forgot this ONE thing😅 We celebrate Christmas tomorrow so now I'm going to finish the decoration in the livingroom while watching the Darts-Championship at the same time🎯
Repotting instead of wrapping presents? Totally relatable. 😂🌿 Sounds like you’ve got a cozy and productive day planned-enjoy the darts and decorations! 🎯✨
Hi Memo…. I just wanted to let you know how much I enjoy your videos. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and experiences regarding your plants. And thank you for sharing a little about yourself as well. I really like these kinds of planty, repot, and just chatting videos about whatever comes to mind. Keep up the great work! I wish you a safe and healthy holiday season ❤ and look forward to seeing your next post. Hugs from the USA!
Hi Dee! 💚 Your comment made my day-thank you so much for your kind words. I’ll definitely keep sharing these cozy planty moments. Sending hugs and holiday wishes your way! 🌿✨
hi friend! I actually get 3 weeks off for christmas, I usually work 2 weeks on, and 2 weeks off, and then christmas adds a week on top of that which is nice. I have to say though, as an adult with ADHD, I struggle a lot with time off, I need to be doing things in order to stay sane, but I will say doing something new helps to break up the monotony of life. it took me a long time to figure out that relaxing could just be shoveling snow while listening to an audiobook, rather than laying on a beach chair and reading. I think part of the plant hobby for me is being able to stay really busy, while also being inside and relaxing. I hope you have a nice christmas time!
Hi, friend! 🌿 It sounds like you’ve found your rhythm, even with the challenges of time off. Staying busy in a way that feels good is so important. Thank you for sharing your journey, and I hope you have a cozy Christmas! 💚✨
I loved your relaxed vid Memo. I'm lucky enough to be earlyish retired and I'm a recluse so I have time to myself occasionally. It's so important. We in 🇦🇺 celebrate Summer Solstice being a Wiccan but the rest of my family do the Christmas thing so it's chaos for the full week. Enjoy your time off. You sure as hell deserve it. Thank you for your planty vibes. X Jules X.
Jules, thank you for sharing your beautiful traditions and planty vibes. 🪴 I hope the chaos balances out with peaceful moments for you. Happy Yule and Merry Christmas from here! 🌟
You're not the only one. 😄 I've ordered a whole bunch of different Soil Ninja mixing components 2 weeks ago. In December, so what, that's my business, all they have to do is deliver and take my money. 😅 I loved walking my doggies during COVID, no one is sight and to be honest my life didn't change much. That tells you everything about my social life lolol. I love my time alone, even after having a great time with a very good friend I need a few days to recharge. I absolutely abhor small talk, and refuse to spend my time on it. Time is too valuable for that sh!t.
You’ve got your priorities straight-plants over everything! 😄 Soil Ninja winter purchases for the WIN! 🌱 And yes, no small talk-just meaningful planty time. Thanks for sharing your vibes! 💚✨
@@HouseplantygoodnessI just finished your video during my coffee wind down time. I didn't know about your being prediabetic, is there a video where you talk about it more?
Have you ever used tree fern fiber? I’ve noticed that mine picky small plants root do quite well with that. And yes, I have been repotting. And I absolutely lost it at 45:29😂😂😂 At first, I thought it was quartz but maybe Selenite crystal? I can’t help it. I just have to know😊
I’ve never tried tree fern fiber, but now I’m curious! 🌿 Thanks for the tip. And yes, that moment at 45:29. 😂 The crystal is quartz I think! I had the same thought about Selenite at first too. 🪴✨
7:31 "give it a moss pole" / I have pothos & philos that looked like that. I gave them tree branches from the yard, in shapes that pleased me. I've used velcro, florist's tape, & crochet to "hug" the plant to the support. Do the bare stems "grab on" to the support? Mostly, No ... BUT the new leaves after the "hug" begin to size up.
What a creative idea! 🌱 Using tree branches sounds so natural and artistic. 💚 And yes, those new leaves really thrive after a “hug.” Thanks for sharing your tips! 🪴✨
I know there is a huge aroid show in Florida. Wish I could remember the name of it but it has a huge turnout. That might be your best bet. Or you could just come to a small town in Texas and I will take you to Wild Roots Nursery. 🤣🤣🤣. Hope you have a wonderful season. Please everyone guard your peace of mind, sanity and joy. Love you all.
That was the show I was thinking off too! 🌿 I’ll keep Wild Roots Nursery in mind. 🪴 Thank you for the sweet wishes and reminder to guard our peace. Love you too! 💖✨
I completely relate. I grew up as an only child but gained a brother through adoption at 20. We never lived in the same house and I often tell people I was an only child. No disrespect to him, he just doesn't come to mind when I consider my formative years. I had a very quiet, very lonely childhood and am very introverted as an adult. My social battery runs down very quickly.
The geographical center of North America is Rugby, North Dakota. Not helpful since there’s such a relatively small population in that area, but a fun fact. I agree with the suggestions to go to a big plant show 😊
Worst week ever. One of my closest friends for 47 years passed away. I am heartbroken. Thank goodness for my plant care to keep me sane.
Lisa, I’m so sorry for your loss. 💔 I’m glad your plants are helping you through this tough time. Sending you love and strength. 💚🌿

I would rather send christmas messing around with my plants then cleaning up after 3 kid love your channel keep it up
Thank you, Adam! 🌱 Plants definitely beat cleaning up after kids any day. 😂 Keep enjoying those planty moments-you're awesome! 💚

Perfectly timed video as the Xmas ridiculously high expectations have been taking over .. time to relax 🌱
Thank you, Rhian! 🌿 Perfect timing, right? Relaxation beats ridiculous expectations every time. 😅 Enjoy those peaceful moments! 💚

I love repot videos! So chill! I need to get one of those scoops instead of using my big clumsy hands
Thanks so much! 🌿 Those scoops are a total game changer-highly recommend! 😄 Keep those chill vibes going! 🪴✨
