I live in the USA and bought a tiny seedling last year. I grew it in a prop box for about 6 months. And now I have about 4-5 leaves with the longest being about 2 feet. I grow in a tall tower pot and chunky aroid mix in an east window. I think it's a happy plant, and I'm a happy plant mom. I can't wait for the inflorescence! 💚
Thank you so much for the Super Thanks! 🙏😊 Haha, I won’t tell your secret! 😉 Your water-rooted Anthurium sounds like it’s living its best life. Thrilled that it found a home with you! 🌱💚
I loved mine so much I went and bought another three. I only paid $10 each for mine though as they'd been a bit battered and sold as imperfect but they're doing well in the same conditions you have yours. I love those pendant anthuriums. Feel better soon Memo. Stay away from those hoomins. They're full of desease. 🤧😷
I hope you are feeling better soon 😊 The inflorescence of this Anthurium is really unique and interesting 😁Hopefully you will be able to show us one of them on your plant in the future🌱🌿
My biggest weakness is pendant anthuriums, anytime I find one available I pick it up, Canada doesnt seem to have a ton of them though. Currently in the collection is the palidiflorum, vittarifolium, ceronii, morona and wendlingeri Love them!!
Thanks for another informative and entertaining video. I just subbed like 2 weeks ago and have watched an embarrassing amount of your videos. You seem to pick topics right up my alley
I’ve had mine 6 months and concur with everything you had to say. Repotted it into a hanging basket in the middle of August. Really like mine too but it is about the size of yours.
Lov the this plant so much. It's been so expensive for quite a while. Grow tropicals currently have them for half price in the imperfect selection. Snagged one and love it
Mine pup’s easily. I divide it when I repot every other year or when it falls off the shelf from its own weight. I have lately been using a dumbbell as a counter weight. The only pest s I’ve had are scale insects. It had a lot of them but it just kept growing like nothing was wrong. It blooms several times a year. Its leaves are almost four feet long (1 meter). This is my favorite plant!
I was able to grab a tiny 3 leaf seedling for $20 from my local plant group! The ladies family corgi dog had passed away and trying to get the funds up to purchase a puppy for her kids and I totally sympathize with that (not that one is replaceable but to soothe a child’s heart) On that note mine is about to put out its first new leaf in my care and seems like it’s taken forever adjusting to my care lol! My Vittar and palidi adjusted just fine and we’re almost immediate on pushing out new leaves even as smaller seedlings but this Wendy is taking her sweet time I’ll say that forsure! 😅🤦🏻♀️
I got my anthurium wendlingeri seedling a couple months ago from Lutz botanical for 23 usd. I have it in my living room with 65% humidity and potted in moss. It's doing well it's putting out it's first leaf in my care.
Aww, thank you so much! 🍲🥣 That is exactly what I needed! 🤗 I’m so grateful for awesome viewers like you-really makes filming worth it, even when I’m not 100%. 💚🌱
It´s my wishlist anthurium together with A. pallidiflorum - however, except for the inflorescence, I can´t tell them apart 😀 It´s available in the EU from the Netherlands (Foliage Factory) for 41 euros (this size, 11 cm pot)
I saw a plant roughly the size of yours at Mybotanika in Ulm (a plant fair), for around 35--40 Euros, so the prices have fallen a bit. I'd like to have it someday, it wouls look beautiful in a hanging basket. But I'll wait for your yearly report before I do anything😆😆😉
Okay. So I got my first Wendlingerii from Mo at the Botanical Archive. I find it hard to grow, despite giving it the best conditions I can. It’s super slow for me. I did give VenduraPD a head cutting, that seems to be happy. All that said, I am a sucker to the Scherzenianum hybrid.
Head cuttings can be tricky sometimes, but it sounds like you’ve got the touch as always Tanya, I still always claim you as one of the best plant wisperers! 💚 And that Scherzenianum hybrid… absolutely dreamy. 🌱✨
Mine is about 2 leaves past yours, and it is on its 4th inflorescence in a row! I was so excited for the first but now I just want a new leaf already!! It also aborted its growth point and started a new one, and i don't know why?
You are made of stern stuff. We now know that you had covid during the filming of this, and you still got in front of that camera. Holy cats, Memo. You are disciplined...! I'll give you time to get caught up, then I'll reach out to you on Insta. Hope you've fully recuperated 😊
Thank you, Dave! 🙏 It means a lot to hear that from you. COVID definitely made filming a challenge, but I couldn’t let this Anthurium review wait! 😅 Holy cats, indeed! Looking forward to catching up soon-thanks for the support and well wishes. Feeling better every day! 😊🌱
I'm not really interested in the inflorescence, I'm a foliage gal. But it's such a pretty plant, I want it, even though I already have a pendant anthurium 😂
I was curious, do the new leaves on your anthurium wendlingeri come out green or brown? Mine has lovely brown new leaves and they only turn deep green when fully grown…
My toxic trait is buying massive plants and telling myself I have room for them. 😂
LOL, sounds like the perfect ‘toxic trait’ for a plant lover, I am the same! 😂 But hey, plants make room for themselves, right?
@Houseplantygoodness Amen Memo!

Wow, 2 feet long! 😮 That chunky aroid mix is doing wonders-love to see happy plants and plant moms! 💚✨
I just got mine at a local plant shop for their Christmas sale. I’m excited to finally have a pendent type in my collection.
Hope your feeling better soon Memo 😀 Thanks for the informative video 😀🇨🇦
Thank you, Linda! Feeling better already with all the support! Appreciate you watching! 😊
My one water rooted Anthurium (I stole it from a coworker, shhhh) thanks you! 🤗
Thank you so much for the Super Thanks! 🙏😊 Haha, I won’t tell your secret! 😉 Your water-rooted Anthurium sounds like it’s living its best life. Thrilled that it found a home with you! 🌱💚

Three more-now that's commitment! 😆 And battered or not, they sound like they’re thriving! Haha, and yep, avoiding those hoomins. 😷😂
I've had mine for about 2 months. 5 small leafer in 3" pot - $50 in US. It is a lovely plant. Appreciate the content ☺️
Such a lovely plant, right? And $50 isn’t bad at all for one that size in the US! Thanks for watching! 😊
I hope you are feeling better soon 😊
The inflorescence of this Anthurium is really unique and interesting 😁Hopefully you will be able to show us one of them on your plant in the future🌱🌿
Thanks so much! 💚 Yes, that inflorescence is on my wish list to show you all soon! Fingers crossed it blooms soon! 🌱😁
Hey Memo, glad you’re feeling better. My Wendi just had its first info an it curled a little bit but not cork screw yet. 🤞🏽
Thanks, Sherry! 😊 Fingers crossed on that corkscrew inflo! 🤞🏽 These plants sure like to keep us guessing. 😄

That’s a beautiful collection! 🌱 Those pendant Anthuriums are so addicting, aren’t they? Canada’s market will catch up soon, I’m sure! 😄🍁

Thank you for joining the channel!! 🙌 Love hearing that you’re enjoying the content-more fun topics coming your way!

Great minds think alike! 🌿 That hanging basket must look fantastic. I love how versatile these plants can be! 😄
Lov the this plant so much. It's been so expensive for quite a while. Grow tropicals currently have them for half price in the imperfect selection. Snagged one and love it
Good catch snagging one at a discount! 🙌 They can be pricey, so it’s always awesome finding a deal. 🌿
Ooooohhhh, that's one pretty plant. Thanks for the video....especially when you're not feeling 100%. Feel better soon🪴 🍵
Thank you so much for the well wishes! 🪴 Glad you enjoyed the video-couldn’t let a illness keep me from sharing this beauty! 😊🍵

Four-foot leaves-wow! 💪 And a dumbbell counterweight? That's dedication! So glad to hear it thrives even with the occasional scale. 🌿💚

Your setup sounds perfect! Moss and 65% humidity… no wonder it's happy! 😊 Excited for you to see it grow! 🌱
🍲 🍜 🥣 here’s a bowl of whatever soup you like 🤗 Really thankful for you
Aww, thank you so much! 🍲🥣 That is exactly what I needed! 🤗 I’m so grateful for awesome viewers like you-really makes filming worth it, even when I’m not 100%. 💚🌱

I was on the fence… you convinced me. Thank you! 😊 just for it for $25 at my local nursery
It´s my wishlist anthurium together with A. pallidiflorum - however, except for the inflorescence, I can´t tell them apart 😀
It´s available in the EU from the Netherlands (Foliage Factory) for 41 euros (this size, 11 cm pot)
The pallidiflorum has shinier leaves, almost satin like. A beautiful Anthurium, no doubt.
A. pallidiflorum is a stunner too! 😍 And wow, good to know about Foliage Factory-sounds like a steal at 41 euros! 🪴
Thanks for this video
You're so welcome! Thanks for watching! 😊🌿

A yearly report-now there's an idea! 😉 Hang on and we’ll see where this goes in a year! 🌱💚

Mine grows very slowly…
Slow growers can be both a test of patience and a reward! Hope it surprises you with a growth spurt soon! 🌿😊
