Hello there. Two questions if I may...first, where and how do you get certified. I don't see anything on the SOS (Illinois in my case) to get certified. Secondly, where do the cards get sent to once you are done fingerprinting? Lastly, thank yo so much for the video. It's been the most thorough one so far that I have found.
Google how to become a fingerprint tech Illinois. It will pop up the information needed. For the cards, they are mailed in by the person needing their prints taken. So you roll the prints , fill out the information then give the card back to them. That's it 👍
I just roll once from one side to the other. But if the lines in your print are clear and easy to read it should be ok. Normally rolling more than once could smear the print
In California no. But it may not be the same in every state. If you're not certified or don't have an FPC number how would the DOJ know the fingerprints were conducted by a reputable source? Without the FPC number or being certified anyone could roll their own prints and sign someone else's signature
Are rolled fingerprints an actual requirement? Our local police department offers free fingerprint services and they do not roll the prints. They stated "a roll is not required"
There is nothing fantastic about this video, this is more a how not to do fingerprints. He has the person self roll and charges them for that? His reject rate must me insane. He called his impressions beautiful, but they are far from. The wood base is meant for stability, so you don't drop your holder. He was trying to smear the print but couldn't! Wow, he is good! 😅. You need training and experience to do this, this is not a coffee maker anyone can use to sell coffee at a shop; this is a serious matter. Please use a professional!
For California. You just get fingerprints done and fill out the application from the DOJ website. Then just Wait for your certification to come in the mail and you are good to go
Hi. I’m in CA. I’ve already been doing livescans for a number of years for my previous employer. I’m now about to fill out the application with the DOJ to become a provider. Do you know the criteria to be approved? Thank you in advance for your time.
Thank you very much. How do I get "Certified" to roll prints in GA?

Hi can I use the cards here in California ? Thanks for your reply
I use them for, travel nurses, immigration and , ccw
I thought you don’t have to be certified? So what if i don’t have that FPC number. Can i still conduct fingerprint background checks

I think that only in California. Because Georgia you don’t have to be licensed or certified just trained. I have taken a course

On the cards I always roll. But I'm not sure, I'll have to check. Rolling is always better because you get the whole finger
Rolling is not only required, it is mandated by the FBI.
Where have you been? I hope all is well.
I'm still here. All is well thank you
Thanks for this it's really help me today 🙏
Fantastic video! Thank you so much!!!

Bling evening, where can I get certified to get an FPC number?
Google fingerprint rolling certification. Once you send the app and get printed you'll get your fpc number
Also, where do we get the OPI numbers from or does the client provide them? I did call you but you didn’t answer or return my call.
