U are Simply the BEST!!! I am an owner of an FZ6 05 myself and it is a hard bike to wheelie that high and for so long as this guy does over and over again!! How can u do it? (jealous :P)
it's so simple, once you learned it. i was teaching on my motocross bike yz125 - much chipper if i fall, and much less damage because of low speed. but with fazer is much easier because of enough power ;) keep trying
@@ryanst8552 2nd gear, clutch up , don't be scared you just need to give it more gas and don't forget to use your rear break to get used to it as well , and avoid 1st gear :)
I have a question. I hope anyone could answer. When I do a clutch-up wheelie with my FZ6, I hear a rather loud mechanical clunk from the gearbox. Way louder than any other motorcycle I have wheelie'd. It's exactly the same clunk that you hear when you roll off and on the throttle, but much louder. Does anyone experience the same with their Fazer?
@@reposter6434 Interesting. I think that Yamaha's gearbox tolerances are just bigger than that of other (Japanese) manufacturers. I owned a 25 year old Suzuki before. Super smooth shifts and never false neutrals. My FZ6 is rather clunky in comparison, and I do occasionally hit false neutrals as well.
@@jaffabaffa what year is you're bike if you don't mind me asking? Another friend I have owns a 1999 Kawasaki ZX900 and his gearbox makes the exact same sound, so I don't think it's limited to Honda, maybe all the older bikes do it?
@@reposter6434 My old Suzuki was an XF650 Freewind from 1997. That bike had a super smooth gearbox. My current Yamaha FZ6-S is from 2004, and has a rather clunky gearbox. So, the older bike was actually smoother than the newer bike is.
@@jaffabaffa Very strange... Maybe the technology has changed? Because this seems like something very common and I couldn't find any problems related to this sound.
In all fairness. I have tried to wheelie my fz6 fazer s2 once. Just tried clutch dumping to lift the front and then fall back down but When I clutch dump my bike just jumps forward and my RPM flies back down to where it was before with no lift. I think I'm just a kitten and too scared of clutch dumping at a higher rpm but if anyone has any tips, please do tell so I don't spend hours grinding the wrong way
Luca70
Still the best FZ6 video even in 11/2020 love from UK 🇬🇧
Body positioning is KEY for wheelies on the FZ6, especially if you're tall or heavy.

which gear are you using? how many rpm to lift it up? I just bought a fz6n a few weeks ago. you're wheelies are really nice!
yes, entire bike is stock
Your engine breaking with rear brakes is going to lock your rear tire

Its the same with majority of Yamahas, happens to my buddies R1 not sure if its an issue, but its a very common loud sound.

he was trying to lift the rear tire, by pushing hard the front brake.
So I just suck at wheelies is what I'm understanding
i dont get it, you can pull sick wheelies yet you stalled it when you stopped
its an heavy bike

Wheeling is stupid, apart from being dangerous, because obviously a motorcycle fork isn't designed to get whacked from behind.
