Scammers typically target the elderly and attempt to steal money by several means.
1. Your Bank Saving or Checking accounts
2. Investment accounts or 401k retirement funds
3. Credit and Debit cards
4. Purchasing Gift cards
5. Cash withdrawls
6. Cryptocurrency
Scammers are ruthless criminals that have no problem stealing every last dime from their victims bank accounts. Please protect yourself as well as family members who might not be familiar with these type of scams.

I love how Pierogi gives the scammers clues to how vulnerable these victims are, telling them "she" has arthritis, being so apologetic, and then hearing them continue on with the scam without any humanity whatsoever.

This just shows you that our country could be doing more to protect us against this stuff but they just don't. Thank you for helping others and being our armor against scammers.
I think you forgot that we have elderly people who don't have anyone to inform them to protect themselves or cant even really understand how it can even be a scam. That's why it matters that we have protection from our country for people who cant protect themselves. My own grandmother was scammed and she would not listen to anyone who told her it was a scam because they really got into her head when she was in a vulnerable state. So nobody is asking to be spoon fed anything. I just want there to be some protection for them.

1. Let's get rid of the police. We can just walk around armed all day and shoot anyone who we feel threatened by.
2. Then let's get rid of the fire department. Everyone must keep a long hose at the ready.
3. Finally, do we really need the army, navy, air force, etc.? What have they done for us lately? We can repell any foreign invaders with the guns we will have to carry around all day (see #1).
I don't know about you, but that doesn't sound too good to me. I don't want to live in an "every man for themselves" society.
I like having the most vulnerable members of our communities protected...and certainly part of that protection involves prevention through education.
It's actually difficult for US law enforcement to do anything to scammers based in other countries, especially when the authorities in those other countries either are corrupt, or just don't care. To some extent, India feels these scammers are pumping their criminal proceeds into the Indian economy. Indian scammers spend their money in India, and are technically "employed".
China only cares about scammers when they target people in the PRC. There are very few foreign governments that feel the "rich" American victims of these scams need to be protected from the citizens of their less developed countries.
@PlugInRides I do understand that but these scammers aren't just taking from the rich. Some elderly who are middle class save their whole lives just for it to be gone in a matter of seconds. Would just be nice to see our government trying to do something about it for those that can't protect themselves. The fact that youtubers are doing more to protect people from scammers then our own government speaks volumes. I've seen scammers get arrested in other countries so it's not completely out of the question. Even if they don't get arrested they could easily stop packages or money transfers just by listening in and making some phone calls.
Truth. We could have psa we could teach this in school. We could have billboards. We could have done a lot.

This scammer has been calling me multiple times a day for a few days now I finally asked if they know of scammer payback. Immediately they hung up 🤣🙌🏼 we appreciate the work your doing!
I hope you don't mind but. I play these videos in senior homes. And am very patient in explaining to the folks, what is happening and how these scammers work. Just so they recognize a scam even before these scumbags can kick it off.

My mother in law was almost a victim of one of the gift card scams, but the store manager stopped her and a friend intercepted the follow up calls. She has lived in abject fear of it happening again. Since then she has gotten very good at pulling up TH-cam videos. I gave her this channel and a few other scam baiters and it has been so cathartic for her to watch you getting these guys back.

This happened to my brother in law few months ago. He got scammed $15k. They almost wiped him out of his savings. Please don't stop. We need u to fight for us lol
So sorry to hear that. If he hasn't yet, he needs to talk with his local law enforcement, file a report with the FTC, then reach out to his bank. It may be to late to get his money back, but they may be able to get the scammers account shut down.
Be advised there are many who will reply to you claiming they can help. Please don't reply as they are scammers. The mods will remove their comment as soon as they can.
I'm so glad the package was able to be stopped before the victim lost all of their money!!

Love…absolutely love what you all do!! I’m constantly bombarded with their phone messages. Sometimes I like to mess with them, of course with caution and it really makes them mad. The longer you keep them tied up the more mad they get. Just love it!!! 😂😂😂

My best friend just told me they got scammed months ago for 6000$ and they scared her so bad she drove two hours to a different town to send it to them via bitcoin, and she had to drop out of university afterwards due to losing all her money. And these videos make me wish I knew her then so I could have helped her. She lost everything because of them.

If you want to hurt the scammers, then find their family and tell them what their son or daughter is doing. It will shame the family and likely stop their son or daughter from scamming again.

Thank You! I was scammed once when I needed help with my computer. It was a Microsoft scam. They did not get anything. Over 2 hours on the phone with such a nice person, I thought.

You're doing a public service, more than any government dept is supposed to do. I see no government dept fighting scammers, as they have no empathy and thats why, they don't give a sh!t. I love you and your team. Ive been scammed a few times and even right now someone has my social security number, dl, and everything they could hope for. Thanks to this same scam my bank closed my account. I try to get help but it's a dead end. So I love what you do.
Sorry to hear about that. If you haven't yet, contact your local Law enforcement, SS office, DMV, bank and anything else they have. You can also file a report with the FTC. They should be able to help you and change your information.
Anyone other then those listed above who claims they can help are scammers.

Thanks for the work you do. I'm a 63 year old woman and got a call from Visa and he said strange transactions on my account. I asked him for Visa's Security phone # and hung up on me. Not sure how on top of that I may have been without watching your shows. In Canada, many companies outsource to India for service help so not so unusual to hear an indian on the other line. Thanks again ;)

I litterly saved one of my friend from a scammer that told him that they will put him in jail if he didn’t pay certain amount of money. He came to me to borrow some money.
