This has been the best video i have seen on tge a6700 and those lenses. I mean, people love arguing on lenses apertures and reach and you create this masterpiece with zoom lenses.
Shivers, Kasper, all you gave me is shivers, among all of these “filmmakers”, it’s been a while since i’ve seen such a polished work, composition, storytelling, colour grading, everything about this video is perfect, with some imperfections that makes it even more perfect, RESPECT, GREAT JOB!! Loved it ❤ Love all the way from Russia
i’m tearing up at the possibilities with this camera. i’m trying to talk myself down from buying a sony a7iv so i can have more room to buy the simple stuff like sd cards and a mic and a good lens. i feel like i understand how much this camera can do. what a beautiful cinematic
Absolutey amazing storytelling. Your videos are an inspriation and helped motivate me to start my own channel with the A6700. I am a complete novice and so will be studying your videos closely. Great work!
Wow. Just wow. If anyone needs proof the camera is just one of many tools in storytelling. Not saying the A6700 is't good, I have one, but this is better than what most people pump out with FF cinema rigs.
Magnificent ! It's how it feels to spend too much time in a concrete city and yearn for nature... the animals were paid actors aswell haha Also I know gear isn't everything but you could have put FX3 with cine lens in the title and I would have believed you, incredible !
this looks amazing. I also got the a6700 and the sigma 18-50mm, but unfortunately it dosen´t look cinematic most times. It would be amazing to see the BTS and the color grading procedure.
incredible work. love the juxtaposition between the wildlife and the city. just curious, which lens were you using for the butterfly shot at the beginning?
just stunning, the contrast, the story, the cinematography, the colors, the phasing, the sound design, the costume design, EVERYTHING MAN! One question, what software do you use for editing? is it davinci resolve?
Awesome video. This made me get the a6700. Did you use any lighting? Or was it all available light. And how did you get smooth footage from your 18-50? That’s the setup I have and when I shoot handheld, it’s all shaky, a gimbal does help a little.
Thank you! It was all natural light. I often use 'active stabilization' and use warp stabilizer in premiere pro. Occasionally I use catalyst browse when warp stabilizer doesn't give the desired results.
@@KaspervanDijk Awesome! Im debating in selling my 18-50 2.8 for the 18-105mm f4 because of the stabilization in that one. I shoot mainly video, but the f4 is a dealbreaker because of the low light and less bokeh. Since you got both, do you notice an image quality difference, and which one would you pick for video if you could only choose one. Thank you!
@@danny_00754 I would keep the sigma 18-50 f2.8. I use that lens 95% of the time when shooting on the a6700. The IQ is better than the 18-105mm. For me personally, the ibis on the a6700 is good enough for handheld video with non-stabilized lenses. Most of my videos are shot handheld.
I've been thoroughly enjoying your videos - they're absolutely fantastic! Your talent is truly remarkable, quick question are you using Catalyst to stabilize your footage?
Thanks a lot! I used SLOG3 and graded it with the "Neutral" Phantom Lut as a base. On top of that I did a subtle creative grade to fit a certain mood. In the city cooler and the forest warmer.
Wait, I'm upgrading from a Sony a6400 to an a6700 and already have the Sigma 30mm f1.4. Could I get images this crisp and beautiful wiht that combo? Or is there something special about the zoom that achieved this other than fov's?
Hey I'd like to know more about your shoot process and what goes on in your mind before the shoot. Do you have shot ideas beforehand? Does it take multiple days of shooting? Or just a single session? I was wondering since the main actor had changed her outfits.
For this short we made a script and a shot list. We shot one morning in the forest and another morning in the city. I also came back to the city alone to shoot some b-roll of the pigeons and hectic city life.
When a short film shot with an a6700 looks better than some actual films I've seen...
Sony needs to send this guy an FX3.
fr mannn
Kasper would be too powerful with an FX3 XD
fr brooo!!!
I comeback to this video almost everyday to inspiring me
This is the epitome of ART.
This is the best one I've come across till now. Amazing shots, Brilliant concept, Smooth edit Everything fit so well. 10 out of 10. Bravo!!!
Perfect connection human art + nature in beautiful harmony dance + music. What a perfect and delicate balance... Thank you Kasper.
Thank you so much! Means a lot to me 🙏
Looks so beautiful! Love the contrast between the city and forest, amazing!
Every time I see your stuff I'm genuinely amazed. You've got an incredible gift man.
Thank you so much! 🙏
"wow" is all I said while watching this short film! Absolutely beautiful shots!!
Incredible work, rivetingly beautiful and full of feeling! Thank you so much for making this.
Thank you so much man! 🙏
This has been the best video i have seen on tge a6700 and those lenses. I mean, people love arguing on lenses apertures and reach and you create this masterpiece with zoom lenses.
Thanks! I think there's a lot of value in not having to change lenses. Fast primes are great, but lighting and composition are more important to me.

Bro I have watched it too many times the dance with the birds it is too epic
That last shot with the wolf. Unreal
such an amazing work of art. i am inspired!
Thank you so much!
Wow! I think I'm sold on the 18-50.
I wanted to get myself some prime lens like the Sigma 16mm and the 30mm but this is it.
I loved the contrast between locations!
That was truly a masterpiece!
So happy to be your 3k follower! Your art is amazing 🌱
Thanks a lot! Happy you are enjoying it! 🙏

Beautiful!
How do you export this kind film to TH-cam without loose quality. Awesome
I export in 4K with a minimum bitrate of 40mbps
well done! great work!

Thanks a lot!
Really nice visual!
Amazing work.
I've been thoroughly enjoying your videos - they're absolutely fantastic! Your talent is truly remarkable, quick question are you using Catalyst to stabilize your footage?
Thanks a lot! I rarely use catalyst. At most 1 shot per montage. In this one, none. I do often use warp stabilizer in premiere pro around 1-10%.

Nice!

You changed my mind man.. a can’t keep changing my mind when I come across amazing films like this, what do your recommended the fx30 or the a6700?

Excellent!
Just Wow !!!
tutorial grading please, and how to direct subject on the light source. it's amazing when in the forest part
Can i know the lens u mosly used in this video?...video is amazing
Thanks! Mostly used Sigma 18-50mm f/2.8. All the portrait shots are with that one.
That's just very amazing! Would you be so kind to tell color profile or lut used for grading?

Excellent
WOW 🤯
Wat maak je toch een prachtige video's. Mag ik vragen of je nog iets van mist filters gebruikt? Zo ja welke?
Dankjewel man! Ik gebruik alleen een Urth Variable 2-32 ND filter om een natuurlijke sluitertijd te kunnen gebruiken. Geen mist filter.
In these videos brool there was some situation of overheating of the camera... Amazing joob😊
Thankss! I have no overheating issues since I have switched the 'Auto Power OFF temp' to 'High'
This is amazing! Is the nature part from Amsterdam bos?
Thanks! It was shot in 'Nationaal Park Zuid-Kennemerland'
@@KaspervanDijk Thank you!! Ill take a look over there

I've never used the Sigma 30mm f1.4, but I think in terms of optical image quality you can achieve similar results.

i cant tell which clips are filmed using the sony lens, I'm thinking of buying it, how is it?
