Hey bro, this was my favorite reaction video. Don't be ashamed, it was an emotional trailer which brought us back to Halo's roots. I've been playing since CE all of those years ago and this trailer hit it on the nose. A lot of us have that emotional connection to Master Chief and this franchise. Just hearing his voice was an emotional moment.

Not gonna lie, I got emotional too, Halo was one of my first MP experience that a simple tune of the warthog run can bring back so many memories of people who aren't even alive anymore. Halo is basically the Star Wars of the gaming community, except with the fact that it's about to get way better again. Great vid, buddy.

I legit cried too, dude. Just everything about this is so amazing. The lighting, the narrative being so short but so emotional already, the music akin to the original instead of over-the-top hollywood music, the artstyle akin to the original instead of obnoxious generic sci-fi design, it's all beautiful.
I also shed a tear bug time. This is more then just a game! This is the return of the greatest game ever! the return of a brand that's been making a comeback! I can't wait!
Why would there be a downloadable Cortana duplicate on the ring? I think that the chip is supposed to contain Cortana in order for Chief's armor to fix her. There is a system on Chief's "new" armor that multiple people have theorized it to be the thing that can fix Cortana.
@@Pathetic_Dart In the first game she merged with Halos main computer. They hinted that a portion of what she was could have been left there. Just a theory or a feeling. There are plenty of other ways for Cortana to team up with MC again.
@@jason8897386 That IS possible, but that was back in Installation 4, this is a different Halo though. I'm not saying that your theory is incorrect, but it's not very likely in my opinion.
@@Pathetic_Dart If one Cortana shard made it to the Domain, others could have. I think what we'll be doing is gathering enough shards of Cortana to reunite into the first true metastable AI.

That oldschool Halo music is the thing that got me emotional. I never really had any issues with the newer Halo's, except for the music. Don't get me wrong, I'm also happy thst they've gone back to the old art style, but the music is what made Halo, Halo. I used to actually listen to it on my old MP3 player a lot. It's a huge part of the feels and the fact that they've finally gone back to the classic music just gave me chills.
Whenever I see this intro when he says “welcome back cheif” I like to see as not talking to the cheif, but to us, and how much we’ve grown from the last time we played the og trilogy when we were kids. Almost like a welcome home from a long trip that was years long

Fter reading the book set before halo infinite and during the attack on infinite you realises one thing mc has been floating there for over 2 frigin months, cortana also jumped it to hyper space before she even destroyed a chunk of the ring and before she died
I just started streaming on Mixer All the old Halos building up to the release of Infinity. Very excited about this and I am hoping its the strongest Halo comeback in Halo History, it needs to be back stronger then ever. I was born in 1991 where I grew up playing Mario and Sonic, then later Cloud on Final Fantasy 7, but none of these iconic characters are as Iconic or as Emotionally attach to it's players as Master Chief. And I think that is because you can feel even though through all this bad assery, he is still human. His connection with Cortana means a lot to him, the ending of Halo 4 was so sad. But even though you can feel his pain, he will leave you feeling like he can do anything, Anything! Master Chief gives you hope in the darkest of times, make you feel invincible during combat, and the story make you want to comeback. @Straight Busta What? What do you mean the ring is not aligned and needing confirmation from Guilty Spark? The Rings don't need confirmation to fire from a secondary source, in fact Guilty Spark (who is most likely not the monitor for this ring in the Halo Infinite trailer) or any monitor have no control whatsoever in firing the rings (if they did, the ending of Halo 3 goes to shit). There are only two ways of firing the rings. The first is to bring an Index to the control room of a ring to fire that ring individually. The second is too active the remote activation switch on the Ark, which will fire all the active Halo Rings. Also the Rings can't be near the Ark and have the effectiveness that they do. In Halo 3 we know that all the rings are in the Milky Way and that the ark is outside it (because we can see the Milky Way in the sky at the beginning of one of the mission).
Definitely enjoyed the reaction. Super excited i believe halo may finally be heading back to its glory days. Lets just hope that they dont over hype the game.

That wasn’t lazy AI voice acting.they are just using old tech ,like that pelican is old .also when the soldier opens the door to close the breach and you pause the Trailer you see a old AI avatar similar to the halo reach one.
Halo 5 took place in the year 2558, 'Chief got his armour upgrade in 2559 - which was last modified by Halsey in the year 2561. Last years tech teaser had a date in the downed pelican reading 2560; and there's also a notable time jump in this trailer before Master Chief is found, and back in active duty. I'm thinking the opening of Infinite takes place 4 - maybe 5 - years after Halo 5.

The developers commented on how they pulled pieces from every game, and some from the expanded lore to craft this armor. I would call that new :)
In the trailer when he boots up his hub it shows the date that halsey made him this new armor and it is different than 2-3. The helmet and shoulders.

@Straight Busta What? What do you mean the ring is not aligned and needing confirmation from Guilty Spark? The Rings don't need confirmation to fire from a secondary source, in fact Guilty Spark (who is most likely not the monitor for this ring in the Halo Infinite trailer) or any monitor have no control whatsoever in firing the rings (if they did, the ending of Halo 3 goes to shit). There are only two ways of firing the rings. The first is to bring an Index to the control room of a ring to fire that ring individually. The second is too active the remote activation switch on the Ark, which will fire all the active Halo Rings. Also the Rings can't be near the Ark and have the effectiveness that they do. In Halo 3 we know that all the rings are in the Milky Way and that the ark is outside it (because we can see the Milky Way in the sky at the beginning of one of the mission).

Edit: If Cortana has activated the Halo rings, they would all be dead, but I'm sure that this wouldn't happen. I think.

also cortana didnt win, if the rings were activated, everything would be dead. there was a battle on that ring and a part of it got destroyed.
"We lost" were what triggered that reaction I believe.
Just to let you know. I’m almost certain that is not the same Cortana from Halo 5... I’d even go as far as to say it’s the Cortana we see at the end of Halo 4 and Halo 5 Cortana is just a fragment that she shed.

Nelite it is Luck yes, however the quote is near polar opposite of Halo 3 (when she was in the Graveminds hands). I’m thinking this is a Cortana free of the logic plague and this game may introduce a Mendicant Bias vs Offensive Bias like exchange between a corrupted and an ascendant Cortana (Furthermore keep what you steal also plays which is the same musical que from when Chief recovers Cortana in Halo 3 except now it plays for him when the pilot finds him).

That wasn’t lazy AI voice acting.they are just using old tech ,like that pelican is old .also when the soldier opens the door to close the breach and you pause the Trailer you see a old AI avatar similar to the halo reach one.

I believe Halo Infinite is based on the events between Halo 4 & 5. But how can we really tell, he's holding the assault rifle from Halo Reach.

Halo 5 took place in the year 2558, 'Chief got his armour upgrade in 2559 - which was last modified by Halsey in the year 2561. Last years tech teaser had a date in the downed pelican reading 2560; and there's also a notable time jump in this trailer before Master Chief is found, and back in active duty. I'm thinking the opening of Infinite takes place 4 - maybe 5 - years after Halo 5.
The first trailer in infinite is year 2560 and this is year 2561
