In Halo: Contact Harvest they state that only high rank brutes have energy shields and everyone else has to go through with armour plates only. Also, it’s mentioned there the existence of blue armoured brutes, just like the ones in the screenshots. 343i basically went straight to basics and more. I like it.
@@ClaudiniGod I'm guessing the in-universe reason is due to the covenant stopped the brutes being too powerful due to their destructive nature. I remember them doing that to brute ships so they couldn't turn on an elite.

Why Are You Reading This? Lol but seriously though I like how chief always talks so nice and respectful to normal humans, he was very professional and respectful to the doctor he met in Halo 4, the one that got composed, and I like how he seems to have respect for this guy as well, it’s something I’ve about his character in the games, always very respectful.
Sweet!! Hopefully it'll be like the first super metroid game where you explore around to find upgrades rather than a separate spreadsheet of selectable perks to unlock. Unless it's done super well? Heck, idk what to think haha.
I'm going to be curious if the Arbiter and Swords of Sanghelios have any involvement. It'd be great if they did, saving humanity like they did in Halo 3. And there is no better time for Arby and the Chief.
He's definitely a very interesting character. I'm excited to see what happens. You can almost feel some pitty for the Banished because of what they had been put through. Almost. Chief won't give a fuck lol

If you can do that in MP, it's gonna be the tennis ball, ever played Half Life 2? Half Life 2 deathmatch often devolved into red barrel tennis with the gravity gun.
Been saying this a lot, but since it's a demo we can PROBABLY (hopefully) see an improvement on already existing things. For the love of God, please have both variants of the shotgun though... Same with that new pistol
I would love that so much since it is a open world we should have a plethora of weapons and different enemy varieties it would really make exploring so much fun
Epsilon Meme reactor they’re probably gonna have multiple variants of the same weapon type since it is gonna be semi-open world. Otherwise it’s gonna be a real boring sandbox.
evan xin yh I’m hoping for guns like the br and etc we get different variants with different attachments like iron sights but they are picked up on the ground and found not a class base system
@@robertmarcelli9154 Seriously, the whole universe is at stake...one would think that with sort of impending catastrophe the chief would definitely be doing more than just casually jogging
It has always bothered me that Spartans literal freaking super soldiers who in cannon are so fast that they can literally smack anti tank missiles out of the sky couldn't move faster than a slow walk
To be fair, the spring looks slower than in the past two games, looking like its not that much faster than normal movement. So perhaps that's the balance they are going for.
I think the graphics leave a lot to be desired at the moment, they lack any of the super detail we’ve come to expect. They honestly feel like unfinished models that they had to slap together for the demo trailer. I hope they can rectify this by launch. Everything else looks amazing and fun.
Other then the brute at the end I thought it was fine. Remember 343 is using a more Halo specific art style. Halo games are not known for realistic high detailed game design. Halo games are loved for a simplistic style that captures the players imagination. Also it saddens me that people care more about graphics then the game itself.
I think the rest of the Banished believe Atriox died on the ark. I think that's what he meant by "honor the will of Atriox" because that's what Atriox wanted
I enjoy sprint also enjoy halo 123etc however I feel if taken away movement would feel slightly held back but 1 feature I hope is still in the game is seat swapping in vehicles with the a button
I really like how the Brute is showing respect towards chief as a titan. As for sprint it seems cool, I mean it will be open world I don't think anyone wants to feel sluggish. I know people seem apprehensive towards sprint in multiplayer, so I'm thinking they could create playlists options with and without sprint for everyone to enjoy. Thank you for hearing my Ted Talk.
They will probably have some throwbacks to the older games. But reach had sprinting, and is considered one of the best halo games ever made. It would be foolish to exclude that from the pvp experience, especially if they want to grow their fanbase.
They slowed it down a ton it seems like itll be used more to reposition yourself and not a core aspect like halo 5 and in infinite multiplayer you'll probably be able to run and Regan shield with the slower sprint
You don’t need sprint. They are other ways they could add that would make navigating the map faster such as man cannons, teleporters, vehicles, or even secret shortcuts they could hide around the map.
Everyone else: “Holy shit, look at the world!” “Dude, that magnum looks siiiiiick!” “The Warthog is amazing!” Hidden Xperia: “We don’t do an animation when we press buttons in the game!”
Which is such a silly thing to get hung up on, honestly. I personally like nice animations to accompany button prompts. Not the same thing as quick time events.
Gameplay looks good, graphics... could be improved upon but Atleast the old artstyle is back for the most part. Also love the fact that grunts and elites actually speak English again and the grunt humor is back, the grunt flying through the air yelling “SCREW YOU!” Was HILARIOUS. Overall I’m pretty excited to play this, and I can only hope that it has a good story
Nightbandit Locke’s personality is like most Spartans. Professional and disciplined, he spent most of his life fighting the covenant as an ONI agent and thus isn’t gonna act like buck who was an ODST before being augmented into a Spartan, but more like how most twos act
As he proceeds to sprint to the warthog lmao, don’t get the obsession around needing sprint, all it really does is expand maps horizontally and clamber expands maps vertically.
If you notice very carefully when he hovers over new weapons, prior to picking them up, some of the weapons get broken down with descriptions, right before he goes up the final lift, he walks over a needle which says something along the line of smg/kinetic/magazine and for a plasma pistol it says pistol/plasma/charge meaning we might be able to edit of customize some of the ammo types and weapon architectures, imagine turning a needle into a needle rifle and a plasma pistol into a rifle or something
As a Moba and rpg player, it seems odd to include such a tool tip in game, during the pause menu their is a sort of glossary displayed, any info on the weapons can probably he found there, youd only display this info ingame to quickly understand what your picking up, that's my thinking, the closest analogy I can think of were similar info is given is something like destiny
I think it just shows what type of ammo it uses. They probably changed it so instead of each weapon having unique ammo, there are just a few shared ammo types, like kinetic for the needler, probably uses same as a covenant carbine type weapon. That or it's just a quick descriptor of how the gun works.
@@sushmatolwani1923 trust me thats probably gonna happen to me, i have notoriously bad luck in halo games. Grunt gets thrown at me, im probably gonna grab it. and die.
This was amazing. We're getting a lot of the old graphics back with some 343 flare, a great open world, and a deeper insight into Brutes. This Brute at the end seams to carry some semblance of honor, almost
i feel like the dislike of sprint in this game is pretty stupid, it’s a giant game imagine having to walk all the time or try to find a vehicle. i think sprint is justified for this game
That's not true though. There are videos on youtube that proved how you need the exact amount of time to traverse midship in Halo 5 as you did in Halo 2. It's just an illusion. An illusion that takes away the feeling of empowerment given by vehicles, which actually increase your movement speed drastically. Though that being said, I prefer no sprint and always will, but from the footage we've seen so far, it does not appear to be of much of a problem in Infinite as it was in Halo 4 and onward, considering the sprint speed is rather slow in comparison to Halo 5's. But! I will be adamant about my opinion regarding sprint needing to be removed from multiplayer, at least as a base function. Would still mind it being in there if it was similarly implemented like in Halo: Reach, however at least that game also gave us the option to play official games and create multiplayer maps without sprint if we so desired, but most importantly the maps in Reach were designed for Spartans without enhanced movement(which is why the environment looked so comically over sized in H5), as well as resulting in sprint itself being much more of an actual power up and movement speed increase, unlike the illusion given in the fifth installment. If they implement sprint in Infinite's multiplayer similarly to the implementation of Reach's(making it optional and designing levels based on Spartan's without enhanced movement abilities), I would not have a problem with it being present, and I'm sure many more people wouldn't either(Excluding the always nitpicky people complaining 'bout the leafs on trees not resembling Halo One's)
D of Y in respect to X yeah i totally agree with you, though let’s kind of remember something the older halo games were more of a linear open world type of game which wouldn’t need to call for sprint, like i agree when people say halo 5 and 4 shouldn’t have had it because of the very linear missions designs and map design in those games. even if sprint is an illusion it still makes physically sense for spartans to sprint you know what i mean? and also for clamber and it makes it feel more fast paced
Im gonna say it I’m glad sprint is back in a slower form and I’m really digging the grappling hook it has a short range and slow recharge time so it feels more like utility
I feel like the sprint issue is overblown. 343 could simply disable it in multiplayer if they wanted. Bitching about it because it's in the explorable campaign world is childish and annoying.
I was so happy to see how the Grunts were mixed and that the Elites looked like Elites again. Some of my only complaints are the sprint and the pistol design but not much else
I hope the iconic magnum is a different weapon entirely in the game. I always considered the reach magnum for example as a main weapon. I use it as such in firefight. So if this pistol they've shown is more of the "sidearm" and the usual magnum is a different weapon i'll be happy. However if this is the replacement for the magnum im gonna be pissed. it looks so bland and ordinary.
Jebus this is definitely not gonna be the magnum, if you look at the name it is called the MK50 Sidekick so it is obviously weak like this on purpose. The real magnum has yet to be shown so all we can do is wait.
@@jerryjaboodyjohnson7393 I'll be honest, i dont believe this. Yeah its not part of the M6 series, thats *obvious.* But that doesnt mean an m6 series will be in the game. The shotgun has already been stated as a replacement. Mark my words this pistol is the same. A replacement.
Yeah I wasn't too excited when I saw the designs of weapons. Hopefully 343 lets you customize weapons to look more like classic Halo designs, or just has multiple versions of weapons.
@@SeniorCharry Oh that would be cool. If you can keep upgrading this pistol so it eventually *becomes* one of the m6. If you look when it shows the map, there is an "upgrades" tab.
That's what vehicles are for. Personally I think they should just increase your base speed. Sprint isn't necessary. The same goes for sliding and clamor. For the latter just increase our jump height.
Spartan Q77 aa a super soldier Sprint just makes sense, even in the promotional trailers for other games like halo 3 we see Master Chief sprint. It’s not that big of a deal, and I don’t know why so many fans waste their time complaining about a feature that helps you traverse faster when their are no vehicles to be found.
Spartan Q77 look, all I’m saying is that you should stop wasting time complaining about Sprint, at this point in time it is here to stay. Instead you should be directing your attention towards something far more important like the main story and what options their is for exploration and weapon variety.
Well sprint is a major mixed bag. Personally i can tolerate it but i understand why people don't like it. In ways it can actually break the tradition halo map flow.
What's wrong with sprint? Honestly, it looks good to run with your weapons in a big map and not just pointing everytime even when there is no enemy. Also, I hope we can aim down the weapon with some buttons because I love doing it and feeling like a soldier who is taking his time while not fighting the enemies.
ExiletheJedi we most likely will because the pilot mentioned condors and that was a weapon that only the spirit of fire was testing meaning that it was most likely present on the ring at some point i also believe we will eventually see anders
5:49 HiddenXperia: What the F*ck is that?!? Me, a Halo SWAT God: That there sir, is an automatic DMR with pin-point accuracy for dealing loads of beautiful headshots.
Harbinger: a person or thing that announces or signals the approach of another. Well that explains the banished always being "one step ahead." Edit: This also really makes me worried about the infinity. Also hiddenxperia, when you inevitably make a video regarding the plot, can you talk about the UNSC having lost, and how people are scattered and hunted - and whether or not that's referring to HUMANITY, or just the UNSC.
Hello, there Yeah I have thoughts about the Infinity as well. I wouldn't mind it if it is badly damaged or crashed on another planet; but if it was destroyed then..... However come December we get to become Hope and discover that for ourselves.
Thing about humanity’s fate is that this game takes place in 2560, but 2558 is when halo 5 takes place. I would assume since humanity put up a bigger fight than the UNSC against the Covenant, and at the time of Halo 5 they’re still pretty strong, that humanity is fine. Although, the “after *we* lost” part has me nervous, seeing as that could be referring to humanity in general...
@@double1777 Yea I feel a bit more worried now, because in the trailer before the gameplay reveal Halsey says something about being "In the face of extinction." That may have just my own question😁 But honestly I'm sure Earth got wrecked because Atriox probably figured out how to open the portal to Voi. There's so much to theorize on. Like how the ring is missing segments similar to what Anders did in HW2, so they probably got her captive, doing what only a "reclaimer" could. I was genuinely nervous this morning before the stream, I was just so worried of seeing even more enhanced mobility stuff like wall running, or if an open world Halo would even work or look good. But after this reveal I think i'm sold on this game, the combat looks very solid compared to Halo 5 and still looks familiar despite the open world setting, abilites like thruster, ground pound, and spartan charge appear to be gone, the return of equipment, new unique weapons that aren't just reskins of existing weapons, and characters that already feel more fleshed out than anyone in Halo 5. Alright 343, i'll give you this for now, you've certainly got my attention with this one.

@Brandon Quist They confirmed that this demo was slated for release for E3, and if you look at the gameplay trailer, with the Energy Sword, you can see a graphical improvement. It's likely that this build is around 2-3 months old. Also, if you remember back to H5's beta, people didn't like the look of the armor, but this would be rectified by the time that the final game comes out. I would expect that the multiplayer gameplay will probably look much better.
I love the textures They aren’t so hyper realistic where they show every little detail. It reminds me of the bungie halo art style It’s very simplistic
I noticed here 5:03 that when the indicator goes to a specific location it shows a specific difficulty. Maybe we won't be able to choose the difficulty and it will actually vary from place to place
I mean it makes since that a random outpost will be easier to take then the main base, but I think that there still will be selectable difficulties which will just make die quicker
I think thats just the difficutly of that area, like more difficult areas are going to have less weapons / supplies and more enemies rather than an actual difficulty setting like heroic, legendary etc Edit: Oooh you know what could that also mean, maybe its the highest difficulty used to clear that area
All of the difficulties displayed tho were the same (normal), so maybe it is just displaying the selected difficulty from the setting set by the player and is not actually the difficulty of that section (hopefully that is the case).
Halo Infinte...5 years guys...5 years! And now we are here, time to save the damn universe once again! So check your mouths amd get set for a combat drop!
5 years of hype and waiting to get this. A fucking destiny clone open world bullshit. Fuck 343. They may have made halo 4 and 5 which were both very meh but they were still halo games that could be enjoyed. I don't want to play destiny and neither does anyone else. Making halo open world just killed this franchise. The demo on the official channel has nearly 10k dislikes already everyone hates this change.
Halo fan for years. I’m in tears. The classic elite design, the Halo Reach assault rifle design and they brought in the Rampart assault rifle from Black Ops 4. Also not to mention, THE BANISHED
It was a beautiful sight. Yeah the graphics could use a touch up but I loved the look overall! Also, personally I never had a problem with sprint. It’s always been indifferent to me.
Im fairly certain the graphics were less than appealing for some because Infinite is being played on xbone in this demo along with the fact that streams have lower graphics quality overall due to buffering, im sure that when played on the actual series x console the game will look fantastic
Ok so, I also want to mention something. I feel like with open worlds sprint should always be nessesary to travel around. Cause what if there's no vehicles around in an open world?
Many games counter the lack of vehicles by having an ability to immediately call your horse for example in Red Dead or Ghost of Tsushima. It doesn’t make a lot of sense to have a feature that calls in your mongoose or warthog so I think sprint is a necessary call
`the fan base has been split for a long time no fixing it everyone will have a say and it otfen turns into two sides old school graphics or new style graphics. and I like the old and and really like halo wars looks and old halo.
Easy 8 SO TRUE. People refuse to acknowledge that this is a completely different time for gaming and some features are just a package deal. Open world, but you see all this hatred towards sprint? Be realistic people it’s embarrassing. It’s even intentionally made clunkier and less offensive in an attempt to find a happy medium.

Funny this being recommended to me now. The hype was so real before the next four years came to light. Cool to the see the comparison from the gameplay then and now. I oddly like some of the aspects of the original compared to the released. The plasma grande explosion looks way more detailed for example.
My thoughts: *I love the return to the dark blue for the AR ammo counter, and the model (despite not being as gritty as Reach's one) looks amazing. *Sprint is back. Honestly I don't give a shit about sprint but I understand why people don't like it. At least they slowed it down to try and satisfy both groups. *I actually like the grapple hook. It functions like a utility item and I'm totally okay with it. *The new weapons look SICK! I can't wait until we see more! Overall, I'm very happy with the reveal. Sure I would've preferred if the visuals were a bit better, but aside from that I'm proud of the team at 343 for all their hard work on Halo Infinite. As far as the weapon sounds, I'm totally okay with them. Sure their not classic Bungie sounds but I don't mind (except for the shotgun. Please bring back the Spas-12 stock sound effects). I'm guessing the AR is using the Halo 4 sounds (it sounds similar to Halo 4, which used the sounds of a SCAR-H. I could be wrong though). Now regarding the brutes, no I don't mind their design. I'm totally okay with it. Honestly I can't wait until December rolls around and we finally get to play Infinite.

Mine and his reaction were the exact same, we were losing our shit cuz it looked amazing, but I was truly disheartened with the amount of people shitting on this game in the live chat. I don't actually care about what everyone says now, the Halo I know, is back
Serious question.. why do you and other people keep saying the Halo you know is back? Me personally watching the trailer, saw nothing that reminded me of Halo CE, Halo 2, or Halo 3 other than the chiefs armor. The elites have a weird look, same with the Brutes and Jackals. The weapons are different. They added a weird grappling hook along with throwing items. I just don’t see the resemblance and am genuinely curious why people are saying that the old Halo is back?
I’m hella disappointed. No aiming down sights, horrible graphics, and doesn’t look like there will be any change of scenery. No Cortana, and I was hoping for a mix of all the Halo campaigns. I love how dark Halo 4 got. I miss those map designs. Along with CE and Reach
The art style gives me combat evolved vibes, i do think it would look a lot better with a more halo reach war torn artstyle. It’s still sick and I’m super excited for this one!
I am personally not a fan, but I see how it will be cherished in a huge map that will be present in Infinite. Actually, you know what, I like sprint specifically because of this reason.
MdioxD well from what we’ve seen it looks like we only have sprint and not the shitty OHKO thrust or Hover melee modes so If you’re caught sprinting into a firefight chances are the runner will most likely get killed first
This mans hype gives me hope. The innocence and pure excitement he has makes me think about me and my brother staying up all night theorizing what that planet was at the end of Halo 3 Legendary Ending. After everything us Halo fans have been through, after all the mistakes that 4 and 5 had, to the 343 mismanagement over the years, to see the pure joy of this mans face is all we needed. Halo is Halo finally.
Complaints because of the graphics. Yea for a demo but come on halo 4 had better detail on their demo. But I definitely love everything to characters and the hook. The way dude is switching guns gives off a doom feel completely lol
Don’t you think they would show gameplay of the final product and not a demo to sell the game releasing with a next gen console? People keep saying it’s a demo and the final game will look better, but I’m pretty sure it will look like this, there’s only 3-4 months left until release
It's an example. We don't have any other basis for it. Criticism is completely fair, and saying it's unfinished isn't fair. Halo five released with no content, imagine if someone defended it by saying "wait guys it's not finished yet" come on man.
There’s a huge difference between a demo like this and the false demo that we got for Halo 2. This game is coming in in like 5 months and it looks like everything is made of plastic
Can i just say as someone who started playing halo at 3 years old when halo ce came out im happy to see sprint return. I personally think sprint is a good thing for halo. I understand why alot of fans dont agree but to each their own and maybe theyll add no sprint modes. Sprint is aldo very helpful since this game is open world rpg-like
I started with halo 4 at one of my friends houses, I think it has to do a lot with what game your start with, I don't mind sprint at all and think it's a pretty good addition to the game, especially for an open world halo (I've played all halo games btw just started with 4
I'm fine with it in campaign. Multiplayer is a different story. The thing with 5 though is that it's pretty much non stop sprint and you pretty much need to have it on the entire time like CoD. At least in Reach if you use it properly it could help you immensely and it was on a cool down. Though I'm a halo purist and prefer the older games, I'm cool as long as it's nerfed. But I'd rather it not be there, same with the grappling hook. Make it a pick up with slow velocity and harder to aim. This looks like a cool middle ground so far just need to see more. I personally like the art style they went with, since it's reminds me of the older games.
@@soulwarsnerd I think what made it so frustrating in halo 5 was the inclusion of spartan abilities which just made no sense for the Halo gameplay loop. Im excited for this game and i dont want to judge it based on past Halo games because i want to have an unbiased opinion on the game itself. Also on the part about grappling hook i personally love it for campaign and 343 said in a waypoint post that the hook and deployable shield will be like a power up like camoflauge and overshields. Also if you notice in the gameplay when he looks at the tacmap theres an upgrade section which i think is pretty damn sick for campaign replayability.

EXACTLY. They could do a Legacy playlist and a Modern playlist
They will probably have some throwbacks to the older games. But reach had sprinting, and is considered one of the best halo games ever made. It would be foolish to exclude that from the pvp experience, especially if they want to grow their fanbase.
They slowed it down a ton it seems like itll be used more to reposition yourself and not a core aspect like halo 5 and in infinite multiplayer you'll probably be able to run and Regan shield with the slower sprint

i feel like the dislike of sprint in this game is pretty stupid, it’s a giant game imagine having to walk all the time or try to find a vehicle. i think sprint is justified for this game
Ikr
The older games were understandable but i think this one i think actually needs sprint
The speed added by sprint is an illusion. Sprint just means that you can't shoot while going full speed.
The Banished: “I wish I can say it was difficult, but it wasn’t.”
The Infinity, Lasky, Roland, and over 100 Sp. IV’s: “Am I a joke to you?”

Yes, they're a joke.
“Yes, and not a very good one at that.”

I don’t know why sprint is a bad thing.. they’re Spartans 🤷🏽♂️ they should be able to do that.
And also, it’s an open world game. I want to be able to sprint to a location
Lol it's so controversial even logic wouldn't save you from your comment. I smell Bungie fans coming at you with their Energy swords.
I don't get why some people dislike sprint, for me, it's a must-have in Halo especially after Halo 4 and 5.
It's not 2001/2007 anymore I can't go back to slow ass gameplay
For real
@@Skweanky until you realise the gameplay was never slow and sprint is just an illusion
@@MaseTwoxen a classic copy paste argument
First let’s go halo so happy to see all the changes and the stuff they added back.
Son of Destiny? What is this Heresy my child?
Today made me realize how bitchy the halo community can be LOL I think the demo was a showcase of the best possible timeline for the game that is coming after Halo 5
The community whines all the time whenever there's a new game coming out, I mean for christ sakes; people hated the Arbiter at first.
Tricky Diagram people just hate any change in this community but over time people start to like it
@@trickydiagram5267 I compare the 343 haters to a child whose mom got a divorce, and 343 as the stepdad she remarried. The kid unreasonably hates the stepdad, refusing to call him dad, constantly disrespecting him etc. But despite this, the stepdad just wants what's best for his stepson, and still loves him and still tries his damned hardest to please him, but to no avail.
Dude really whined about a 'quicktime event' for pressing a button that's literally a 0.5 second animation LMAO the fucking drama queens in this community tbh
Yup, I saw a lot of comments on another, and people are all like this looks like shit. I mean for gods sake, they can’t wait till the gam comes out, play it then put their reviews on
It looks okay...
I hope they polish some textures, it kinda looks like Halo: Mega Bloks edition. The phantom was straight from Halo Wars 2.
yea textures and that phantom design needs major work. Otherwise, it is very promising. I really hope they don't scuff the multiplayer. No grapple and no abilities.
@@MrJuice44 I agree, I am mostly optimistic about them listening to people, I've participated in all PC flights and they have tried a lot. Latest patch was a surprising but welcome indication of good things to come.
Simte Great lie. They haven’t done any flights. Although you HAVE technically have been a part of all the flights
I love the textures
They aren’t so hyper realistic where they show every little detail.
It reminds me of the bungie halo art style
It’s very simplistic
I love how in every single halo game there is some random untouched warthog waiting for cheif
I think thats just the difficutly of that area, like more difficult areas are going to have less weapons / supplies and more enemies rather than an actual difficulty setting like heroic, legendary etc
Edit: Oooh you know what could that also mean, maybe its the highest difficulty used to clear that area
I think we will be able to set difficulty because there isn't a leveling system thank God, but good eye
That would be kinda sad for people wanting to do a Legendary only run
All of the difficulties displayed tho were the same (normal), so maybe it is just displaying the selected difficulty from the setting set by the player and is not actually the difficulty of that section (hopefully that is the case).
Halo Infinte...5 years guys...5 years! And now we are here, time to save the damn universe once again! So check your mouths amd get set for a combat drop!
“So check your mouths, find your chairs... ...and get set for a combat drop!”
"AM I RIGHT MARINES?"
@@lolimoo255 the gameplay demo on the Halo channel has 6.1K dislikes and 54k likes. Who is this "Everyone" we're talking about?
Five Years
Five Long Years
Thats how long it took us to get Halo Infinite Gameplay.
Halo fan for years. I’m in tears. The classic elite design, the Halo Reach assault rifle design and they brought in the Rampart assault rifle from Black Ops 4. Also not to mention, THE BANISHED
Graphics may not be the best but man, that art style is enough to make my cry
7:54 he gave the banished
Back their fusion coil
Also it makes sense to have sprint in a open world game because if you have no vehicle you can sprint
It was a beautiful sight. Yeah the graphics could use a touch up but I loved the look overall! Also, personally I never had a problem with sprint. It’s always been indifferent to me.
The graphics is achivable on current gen..it looks bad
Yeah personally I think visual improvements do need to be made but considering this is a demo I have think it will be a lot better on full release
Im fairly certain the graphics were less than appealing for some because Infinite is being played on xbone in this demo along with the fact that streams have lower graphics quality overall due to buffering, im sure that when played on the actual series x console the game will look fantastic
Yeah for me the stream lagged through the entire trailer and even freezed sometimes. So I missed out quite a bit. :(
Gabriel Baylis Yeah I noticed that when I was watching the main one. I actually switched to YongYea’s stream and the lag cleared up!
Ok so, I also want to mention something. I feel like with open worlds sprint should always be nessesary to travel around. Cause what if there's no vehicles around in an open world?
Yeah I agree. People are getting angry at sprint but they are forgetting that you can’t walk the whole map in an open world game
@Faber While that is true. I did mention if there's no vehicles around
Btw the sprint is slower than halo 5
@@Dark_Mastermc Is it? I haven't played much of Halo 5
Many games counter the lack of vehicles by having an ability to immediately call your horse for example in Red Dead or Ghost of Tsushima. It doesn’t make a lot of sense to have a feature that calls in your mongoose or warthog so I think sprint is a necessary call
Im so pumped. It was disappointing how incredibly toxic the live chat was for yours and the xbox's chat during this stream
No one wants to be happy, its fine, as long as other can be happy from this very exciting news.
`the fan base has been split for a long time no fixing it everyone will have a say and it otfen turns into two sides old school graphics or new style graphics. and I like the old and and really like halo wars looks and old halo.
Sadly you can not satisfy people who are not willing to let go of halo 3.
@@magnumdog5464 its not about people not being satisfied, its about people toxically ignoring everything good we got, and laser focusing on the few bad things they saw, and being hyper-toxic about it in the chat. Like spamming Halo is dead or this looks like garbage. Its toxic as fuck and petty.
Funny this being recommended to me now. The hype was so real before the next four years came to light. Cool to the see the comparison from the gameplay then and now. I oddly like some of the aspects of the original compared to the released. The plasma grande explosion looks way more detailed for example.
Heheh it gets me that he turned on his controller in the hopes he'd play the trailer...
I mean, I would've done it too if I had one next to me heheheh
So glad to see someone happy! A lot of people seem to be negative about this whole thing. I'm very excited personally.
It’s the PS players who just want to make it seem like our games or bad. They also don’t realize that art style is supposed to not look like real life
@@TheAHuman not to mention the people who are saying that some of the weapons look ones from cod or some shit like that
High hopes for the story but why is it so cartoon looking, looks like a ratchet and clank game
My thoughts:
*I love the return to the dark blue for the AR ammo counter, and the model (despite not being as gritty as Reach's one) looks amazing.
The sad thing is they are delaying it to 2021
They have a non-bullpup assault rifle in Halo? Heresy. Heresy, I tell you.
Don’t you mean, “there can be no greater heresy.”
It’s more of a precision heavy assault rifle cause you can’t aim with the regular assault rifle
I have no problem with sprint. Especially in the campaign since it’s open world. Just as long as it is well implemented.
Same here.
Same here

I just hope the graphics get slightly more realistic cause it looks a little too cartoonish
Ehh graphics schmafics, if they made a halo game in the art style of borderlands, I’d still play it.
@Chip_Kipperly187 I think they were afraid of getting too close to the ultra 'realistic' style used in halo 4 and 5
@Chip_Kipperly187 CE was mature and gritty looking?
And honestly realistic graphics never really felt like Halo to me, Halo 4 felt like a spin off game in physical apperanae (Elites and grunt models aside)
Halo is Cartoonish, what the heck are you talking about?
I feel like I'm the only one losing my mind over the forge mode possiblities with the grappling hook.
Ultra parkour Indiana Jones game like how they did in Reach forge
Press start to play demo
Luke: I'm pressing start bro, why isn't it working
Just pointing out that the pistol wasn’t called a magnum, but instead called a sidekick meaning there might be a classic looking magnum
What I think is cool is in MCC one of the challenges for the gold skinned magnum was called "Trusty Sidekick" almost like they were giving the new pistol name away haha
In the new trailer there is a halo 2 BR55
Thank you president obama
The classic shotgun was removed and replaced by the generic bulldog shotgun
@@north6660 You're kidding right? I'm wrong? How in god's name am I wrong. Are they that stupid to remove the shotgun?
I cried when I saw this. I was watching DeeBeeGeek streaming this. Mine and his reaction were the exact same, we were losing our shit cuz it looked amazing, but I was truly disheartened with the amount of people shitting on this game in the live chat. I don't actually care about what everyone says now, the Halo I know, is back
Yessir!
Devashish Athawale The Halo I know is now dead and buried forever
BretonFou we are happy nice that your not enjoying it
Serious question.. why do you and other people keep saying the Halo you know is back? Me personally watching the trailer, saw nothing that reminded me of Halo CE, Halo 2, or Halo 3 other than the chiefs armor. The elites have a weird look, same with the Brutes and Jackals. The weapons are different. They added a weird grappling hook along with throwing items. I just don’t see the resemblance and am genuinely curious why people are saying that the old Halo is back?
it's an Xbox game, that means the internet will hate it by default
Some of the gameplay reminds me of Doom Eternal, which isn't a bad thing.
When he opens up the map there’s an upgrade tab, I wonder if it’s like the one in doom 2016 and I’m not sure how it’s like in eternal though
@@cestyplarpis7947 picking up weapons from the ground and being able to interact with the environment. The grapple reminds me of Lucifier's Bane.
THE PROPHET -_-__ CXVII __-_- aiming down sites, have you played halo before, you can aim down sights on any gun with a sight.
I agree about the graphics, looks so bad.
Sprint: *exists*
HiddenXperia: 🤬
The art style gives me combat evolved vibes, i do think it would look a lot better with a more halo reach war torn artstyle. It’s still sick and I’m super excited for this one!
Luc: the only complain I have is sprint
Me, who loves sprint in campaign mode:
*I SEE THIS AS AN ABSOLUTE WIN*
I am personally not a fan, but I see how it will be cherished in a huge map that will be present in Infinite. Actually, you know what, I like sprint specifically because of this reason.
If they made it where sprint can be turned off I’d love that, or exclusively for Campaign, but I still like it no matter what
I agree. As long as sprint is in the story mode and is optional in multiplayer, it should be fine
@@soberscrim299 I really don't like it in MP
It makes wide maps with less cover in the end

@@acey6991 facts man
There’s a huge difference between a demo like this and the false demo that we got for Halo 2. This game is coming in in like 5 months and it looks like everything is made of plastic
« It’s a demo » the game comes out in 4 months and looks unfinished
I literally started to tear up a little bit watching the gameplay
@@soulwarsnerd its all about how they execute it

they were modeled after a combination of Vikings and Orcs. so expected, still cool though.
HiddenXperia I know you haven’t been a fan of sprint but I’d point out when Chief charges the hill after throwing the fusion coil he is able to cancel sprint and start shooting instantly without a slow bringing his weapon up transition. So it you can’t sprint and shoot at the same time but you can instantly start fighting back whenever you want. 😊
