    Nice shooting I have replaced the qe 10.6 " barrel to a h125 long barrel and pick up a good amount of fps. The h135 have large swept volume 30x120mm and needs longer barrel to get use all energy

    I found a tin of those AA 16gr .22's myself. Gotta get a new chrono to test them. But they are a bit louder and make that loud SMACK @ POI. So those are good indicators so far. Shot in my Hatsan Striker 1000x .22 springer. I think these are gonna be good pellets!? Being in the middle weight-wise with the .22 H&N hornets @ 16.2gr, and the Gamo hunter @ 15.42g, also domed.

      My findings are the pellet that groups the best is the one I use no matter the FPS where FPE accuracy is pretty much my main concern, but those AA 16gr are pellet of choice in most of my air rifles some duper for the jsb accuracy makes the final call...

    • @unionrdr
      @unionrdr 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      I find that velocity plays a big hand in carrying FPE to POI. The faster it gets there, the more FPE it can expend on impact. To a point, of course, too light, and thus more velocity, will carry less FPE to POI. So it's all a balancing act.

    • @airgunnersedge4061
      @airgunnersedge4061  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Definitely a balancing act, thats why I reduced the gas gam pressure in mine to get better accuracy at longer distances with the 16gr, 18gr just wast as accurate even with the higher pressure, still around 30fpe with 16gr at 940fps... all about trial and error in this gun is just absolutely perfect where it's at...

    Nice, but try the H&N Baracuda match .22 in 21.14 grain. Perfect parllet for the hatsan, good luck

      Paul Farrell thanks Paul it's getting easier at that range and I have a very good feel for the 135 now... my Hatsan at-44 10 QE long should be here Friday so this being my first PCP I don't know when I'll be picking up a springer or again !!! LOL

      AIRGUNNERS EDGE, Rich, I’m really curious to see how that goes. Your opinion on PCP’s will be unique, in that you are so good with a Springer. Not only do you literally know them inside and out, but you’re an excellent shot with them as well. Plus, to say the least, you have been pretty much a dedicated, enthusiastic, fan of the Springer power plant.
      One thing is for certain, and that is we can count on an accurate, honest, unbiased review from you!
      I’m really looking forward to it!😀

      Awesome shooting!! And question for you you've had the pressure pumped up for a while now but seems a month how's it holding up has it lost any speed/pressure?
      And if you ever want to sell it I'll buy it🤔🖒🏼🖒🏼

    Nice vid! Would love to see your cocking method, because I have a Hatsan 125 Vortex .25 cal rifle, and it is a breeze to cock, but this new 135 QE .22 cal that I just received is a BEAR to cock! As a matter of fact, it's so hard to cock that I have to put the butt of the gun on the ground, and use my body weight on the barrel to get it fully-cocked!! Maybe I'm making it harder on myself than necessary, because of the exposed cocking-mechanism in the forearm, I'm leery about holding the rifle around the forearm as I do with my other Vortex (seems as if I could be easily pinched by the mechanism)... At any rate, this thing has much harder cocking effort, and I may be forced to get rid of it due to the intense effort required just to cock it... Keep up the good work!

      Brother, with your Hatsan experience in .25 and this one in .22, what caliber do you like the most in these Hatsans to recommend it more? I hope you answer me, it would help me a lot :) I am very hesitant because they say that .25 is the best but .22 is also incredible

    On the off chance you or anyone else is interested in this i have a hatsan 150 .177 metal spring I'm looking to trade for a 22cal vortex piston model 150,135 or 125.
    I'd even trade for another 150 177cal if it's a vortex piston model.
    I'm nit a tinkerer and don't care for metal coil springs.
    It has no issues i just prefer gas over coil and don't have a 22 yet. Have several 177s and 25s.
    Anyone interested cool if not no problem. Very cool man.
    I love my HATSAN's.

      Rockbiter 25/125 AirgunsOhio I'll ask around but 177 for the 150 is kind of undersized for me , .22 and .25 uses much more of that power efficiently... you are definitely on the right track with the gas Ram in 22, the reduced pellet drop and increased fps is a nice trade-off compared to the . 25... : )
