My f250 pulls school bus out of ditch

- rear tires caught edge of the road and slid into a ditch, our tow trucks were getting stuck just trying to get to the bus, so here i come with my truck and pull it right out. This was the day after 2011 snow Blizzard one of many vehicles i pulled out but this one was the only one worth posting enjoy :)

I would never help pull a heavy ass bus or a semi-trailer truck with my truck or jeep on some chains. Way too dangerous and can bring some mechanical problems afterwards. Id just ask him to call a towing instead of risking it.

They would have cancelled school in my city for much less than that. The one time they didn't a bus or two slid off the road and parents sued them so now they cancel or delay for an inch of snow. lol
hahahha i live in maine. we get snow like that and they laugh. and if i got my bus pulled out with a sexy ass ford it would be worth going to school

+sniperv25 I live in Louisville, KY and they will cancel school if there is like 2 inches of snow on the roads. They used to keep school open unless it's a blizzard like this but a bus hit some black ice and slid into a ditch one time and they got sued for a lot of the parents so they now cancel for the slightest amount of snow.
I listen to this when I'm having a bad day because of that sound!

The idea of a fan boy is just stupid when it comes to trucks. Ford has the problem of braking down, chevy has tirod issues, and dodge has trans issues. Seriously we all have problems with the brand we choose to buy and the list goes on and on for each brand.
yeah and im a chevy guy (own a '65 elcamino 454 4 speed but we also own two fords one with all true ford motor and another with a chevy motor) and my father was looking at diesel trucks and looking at chevys and dodges and we heard that chevys had real bad fuel injector problems but he finally bought a 2000 dodge 4x4 3500 single cab with a 5 speed

Early duramax engines 2001-2004 had horrable injector issues, after that if you kept clean fuel in them they last a long fucking time! but thats any diesel you keep clean oil in it and she lasts
Now I heard if you put canola oil in the fuel tank them mix it with gas that helps claims everything is that true?

***** Absolutely not! Never put any amounts of gas in a diesel and canola oil is fine but way to expensive when there is other stuff out there.
Any truck can be good if you keep it in good conditions. My cousin had a 91 F150 lariat had 830k plus miles on it... Thing was he took care of it. Im pretty sure Ford has done a great job with engines. Only bad thing I see on Ford is ball joints (on old ones)

Those tires are what I'm impressed with! I want to know exactly what he's got on those rims... Cause that kind of traction is hard to get in snow like that. Sorry he had to end up with a 6.0 but I will say they are a great engine for the short time they are running.
Nah hes right they have problems. BUT If you go threw and spend a little money bypassing the EGR that engine will quickly become bulletproof and wonderful power delivery.

Maybe bulletproof is a bad description.. But that's pretty much all we've done to ours and we're we're well past 250,000 mi
If people are planning to tune their 6.0 vehicles for extra power then yeah you'll probably want to do do more upgrades to keep it long term reliable but the EPA is making tuning harder and harder to do legally anyway.
332k bone stock, owned since 201k. Egr and oil cooler have been the only issues engine wise. They get a bad rep due to people not knowing how to take care of it. Keep an eye on the vitals. Archoil with every oil change too

Throughout the 1990s and 2000s, Ford offered International/Navistar V8 (as the DT inline-6 was far too large to package in a pickup truck) in the Ford Super Duty pickup trucks. As of 2010, the 6.4 L Ford PowerStroke V8 was the last of the International/Navistar diesels used in Ford's F-Series Super Duty lineup. When Ford redesigned the Super Duty in 2011, it was fitted with a 6.7 L V8 designed and produced by Ford. During its first release, the Powerstroke produced 390 hp and 735 ft-lb of torque. Later in 2011, Ford tweaked the engine to deliver best-in-class 400 hp and 800 ft-lb of torque.

Thomas Condon but its not my 84 6.9 non turbo get 25 mpg on the interstate with my horse trailer granted mine is geared high but factory specs were 170 HP 320 foot pounds torque at 1300 rpm it is a nice motor and boy it crackles when you lay on it

Nah, but three days ago I pulled a full size chevy silverado up a hill on state street to a shopping center because the snow was too much for it and the starter went out. Watertown, ny police were witness to it and they were AMAZED!... shoulda bout a subaru...

who could dislike this video. Love my 6.0 with the straight pipe. Alot of school buses have a vt365 which is a 6.0 power stroke.. Only thing that could of made this better would of been some black smoke

I'm not a Ford guy. But, DANG! Respect. And, it needs to be said again, PLEASE, keep a safe distance when doing something like this. At least the length of the chain, cable, or even a tow strap. The strap is safer, but still, if it hits you it's gonna ruin your day!
