People in pickups think they are great in the snow and ice. Fact is, most front wheel drive cars do much better because there is weight over the drive wheels. Even if the pickup is 4 wheel drive, the light bed will make it tail happy, which is what happened here.
@@off-roadnpew2183 Good move. I used to keep 4 50lb bags of course sand (wrapped in heavy duty lawn bags) that I put over the axels every winter. If you get stuck, the sand comes in handy.
2WD ain’t getting out of that for real. I do question the tow truck driver dragging you down the ditch. Seems to me that he should have pulled you back up that embankment keeping your truck perpendicular to the road. The potential for damage from hidden objects seems exasperated by dragging you down the embankment, especially at that speed. Hopefully there was no damage from the drag.
@@dvgese The tow truck driver does not seem professional. He should have repositioned the tow truck and used the winch to pull him out rather than dragging him so far down the shoulder.
Tow truck. 30 mins? Active snow storm? You had this man on speed dial 🤣

That Chevy truck didn't want to come out of the ditch. Great job by the tow company.
If the coloradoswheels would have been straight it would have come rite up and out, no rolling across the bank
That's such fun doing this type job in the blowing snow.
😵💫 🥶 Be careful out there ❄
maybe he should try turning his wheels the other way.

Not a Ford it's a Chevy Colorado
The spinout short brought me here.
You telling me you couldn't get out of that yourself?
It's a 2020 Chevy Colorado 2 wheel drive the snow had 35% moisture in it so it was very slick
