I love restoring vintage odds and ends. What antique do you want to see Restored?

My 5 yr old daughter asks me every Saturday morning if we can watch a restore video. Your videos are her version of Saturday morning cartoons. Thank you!
That makes me so happy to hear. Thanks for sharing!
That's cool! Who knows? Might even end up being an interest that leads to a career path.
You've sure come a long way since the pilot knife bit. Glad to see you improving your skills!
Thank you so much for what I saw! Everything at the highest level and the office, the work and the result! Bravo maestro!👍
This came out real nice! Especially for the shape it was in. The “Cracker Jacks” skit made me laugh. Well done Sir!
Another great restoratiob, man. THe knife looks so beautiful after renovation. 👏👏
I'm curious. What was the purpose of the bits of metal inside the scabbard?
I don't think I've seen anyone else do that.
Magnets to help hold the blade in the sheath
@@restorationchannel901 Oh, cool! Thanks for the explanation. 🙂
MASTERPIECE!!!
Good job mister well done
Przepiękne jest ten cały nuż odrestaurowany pozdrawiam twórcę tego filmiku serdecznie 👍👍👍👍👍👏👏👏
beatiful restoration
Wilson! You murdered Wilson!
Lovely restoration thank you
Another beatiful restoration🗡️ 👍👏 Congratulations and Greetings from Belgium 😉🇧🇪👋
LOOKIN' GOOD, KEEP SAFE..
Now I'm mad 😡 I never got a knife out of a cracker jack box. And all that money spent for nothing 😂
I don’t know how I got so lucky. 😂
From what it was to what you made it.kudos to you sir.just keep doing what your doing and carry on.good video.😎😎😎👍👍👍
I've seen a lot of your videos--as well as others from other people who do similar kind of work--and I'm left with one major problem:
They call that stuff "bluing" but when it's used, it seems to turn the metal black...
Sometimes it *looks* black, but it is in fact a very very dark blue. You can see it in the light usually
You killed Wilson, now Tom Hanks is crying
But you did a great job !!!
☹ you stabbed the ball. repeatedly . the knife turned out good . better than I thought it would . you do good work.
Impressive!:)
nice content.. a good watch I must say.. one question.. for a badly pitted blade, is there nothing that can be done to quickly repair it, like maybe just a simple welding job and then grind it down again?
That adds too much heat, which destroys the temperature of the steel. Additionally, intense, localized heat from welding would cause warping.
Not without ruining the heat treatment of the steel, which is a pain to re-do.
at some point you gotta say, not everything can be restored.
but you sure as hell can try.
Best Cracker Jack prize ever. 😁😁😁
That was better than a coupe de ville 😁
“It’s perfect”
Perfect Cracker Jack prize for you. Nice resto.
You had mostly difficulty to work on handle by knife 🔪
You cut difficult to remove part of leather and metal on handle. I’m trying to make sense to you.
You’re so amazing to set “Pocket Wood” with knife 🔪
I’m sure knife 🔪 is very value to everybody. We ate Cracker Jack several times. But we didn’t find nice prizes. You found knife from Cracker Jack. You’re so lucky!
Anyway, knife 🔪 is very cool. See ya next project 👍🔪
Last prize Imgot, out of a Cracker Jack box was a cheap tattoo of a smiling dog
WILSON!!!
"Wilso-o-o-on!!!"...
Mantap👍
What do you call a knife made out of wood? A stick
How about "useless"?
I never got anything like that in my crackerjack box. 😢😢😢
Mom: "What did you get in your Cracker Jack's honey?"
Me: 'Tetanus and a knife that was once used to stab Nazi's in the gut and head or slash open their throats'
Mom: 'Oh, that nice dear. You habe such an active imagination'
Класс 👏👏👏
You just stabbed Wilson!!!
Nice job nevertheless.
Nooo Not Wilson.......
👍
WIL SONNNNNNNNNNNNNNN!
👍👍
Wilson I'm sorry Wilson
You just need to re-profile the blade. A loss of some metal is tolerable.
Wish you had done the sharpness test on a watermelon instead of a partially deflated basketball.
Hopefully your not slaughtered, if you make it to your cage, mabe I'll have you restore Rusty knives I toss over the wall😂
Yay another knife........ 🙄🙄
👏👍👏👍👏👍👏👍👏👍👏👍👏👍
Well that was a great restoration until you killed Wilson
5:34. PLEASE! Lower the vertical blade guide! 👎I can see the blade wandering side to side.
RTFM for your band saw! No more that 1/4" above the work piece. Add a light if you can't see what you're cutting.
You do understand that it was WWI that was associated with trench warfare, right? Why do you guys call every 20th century war relic a 'trench' object??? That's misleading click bait.
