I love restoring vintage odds and ends. What antique do you want to see Restored?
#lostandrestored
I thought it looked like it was for setting rivets; I didn't realize it was specifically for chainsaw blades!
I admit at first I thought they were fastener pliers. Great restoration!
Another beautiful restoration, Love watching you working ☺☺
They are for breaking and reassemble chain saw chains. I have a pair just like for that reason. Great job on restoration.
Are your ones Granbergs?
@Simonsimon I have to find what toolbox I put it in to see.
Nice job Hollywood
I knew it was used for rivets, but I didn't make the chainsaw chain connection.
An amazing refurbishing of such a tool. I had no idea what it was or how to use it. But now I know and it could be a very useful tool to have if you own chainsaws or chain pruners. Thumbs Up!
Beautiful work! That's a cool tool I've never seen before. How do you keep from constantly having to retighten the Chicago screws? I don't have any experience with them.
0:11 "I've thought *they were the strangest "vise grips" that I had ever seen* yet...😁"
They stay tight on their own, in my experience. A little thread locker would be insurance.
Great job on the resto those look amazing! 👍👍
I've seen one of these before at a chainsaw shop. Didn't know what they were for but have seen one before LOL
Great looking restoration and a fine job restoring it also!!!
Enjoyed your video and I gave it a Thumbs Up
Very cool! Never saw one of those before! Nice job! :)
Neat. Never would have guessed
Another gorgeous creation 👍👍
Always cool to learn something , great work bringing it back to better days.
Top job dude 👏👏👏 !!! And thanks for the explanation and demo. Much appreciated 🙏. 😎
good resto of a unique pair of ''vise grips,'' keep safe..
Lindo trabalho
Perfeito ❤❤❤❤
Excelente trabalho 👊
Incredible pal as always 🏴
Your edits are cool & funny. Great work. I thought the joke about the chainsaw was very funny too. Cant wait for the next one
Hello, was the cutting chain you used to test the tool a chainsaw chain?
Nice job. 👍 Lots of magic on this one. 😀
Nice restoration!!
MASTERPIECE! great restore and funny video!
I believe they are for gas spot welding. Greetings from Poland!
My association was deep in the forest, along with a lumberjack with a motor saw :-)
I just noticed you cleared 100K subscribers. CONGRATULATIONS 🎉🍻
My dad had one of these in the garage so I assume car related? But the head pieces look like similair to a tool I use to put snap buttons in clothes..
Hello mister beautiful restoration well done
Cool! Learn something new every day.
A rivet or grommet setting tool???
Bravo! The video is super!
Very nice!
Fun restoration, my initial guess was; some sort of weird riveting tool, but I and no idea what for and was doubting myself. My second guess was some sort of weird welding clamp.
good job
Like attention to detail, good restoration. I think it is used for some type of flairing tool.or spreading apart end of rivets for compressing for tight fit.just saying never seen one before.great video.keep it up 😎😎😎👍👍👍
Very cool 😊
It looks like a handheld spot welder.
These are your standard nipple clamps you put them on and then connect a car battery up to the part that sticks out from the pliers. Good cheap fun and a super thrilling time!
The rivet in the middle of a clothing snap???
Класс 👏👏👏
These look like they are for setting rivets.
I was thinking they were for the okd school rivets
I was thinking some kind of flaring tool
Chain Break, adding or shorting chain...
Круто
You can use it on a bike chain
De-bur all holes before assembly.
👍
They are used to take a link out of chainsaw chain in the field
There is a Vice Grip for everything.
They are for making and Breaking Chain Saw Chain.
Looks like welders clamp
Spot welder
You’re best filmmaker 🎥
You’re best toolmaker 🧰🔨🔧⚒️🔩⚙️🪚🛠️
From worse to shiny silver tool (I think it’s “Break N Mend”) that’s my guess word.
See ya next project 😊
👏👍👏👍👏👍👏👍👏👍👏👍👏👍👏👍
chainsawophobia
丁寧に置けばいいのに。雑だね〜
What kind of bad rusting leaves absolutely no pitting? FAKE!
🤨…. This restorer is genuine, not fraudulent 🙂✅
El restaurador estará pensando boy a entretener a estos que estan aburridos
