  • A farm with a difference in Co Fermanagh is giving adults with disabilities the opportunity to gain vital work experience and qualifications.
Fermanagh Fun Farm in Lisbellaw is a former dairy farm, then beef and sheep farm. Nowadays, it operates not-for-profit social enterprise, providing a home to rescued and adopted animals, and plenty of events and activities for the local area.
Due to a new wave of funding, the farm are now working with disabled adults from Killadeas Day Care Centre on three separate projects: hospitality (through running coffee mornings), animal care, and drama, with those involved able to gain qualifications in these areas.

Wonderful idea and good use of the property. I hope that you are rescuing animals too? Only fair for Karma. Paying it forward.
