One word for this video, Tranquility. The scenes and sounds give a calming effect to the viewers. Thank you for presenting a half hour of visible peacefulness.
Thank you so much for the elegant simplicity in your videos. My father in law comes from a long line of farmers, and now, at 84, he's dying of cancer. He's mostly deaf, so keeping him entertained is a struggle. I had the idea to put farming videos on his tablet that he could just watch and not need to worry about dialogue. His imagination can fill in all the animal sounds. He smiled more broadly at this video than at anything else in the recent past. It's like you've given him his young life back, one video at a time. We thank you. ❤
Okay this was just BEAUTIFUL. Omg... the heavy fog, the lush green grass, the cows looking nothing short of mjestic, Morgan riding his bike with the LWFD (Large white farm dog)running behind him.. this was just perfect Morgan. Please do more videos like this... this was beautiful
I enjoyed this as well, it gave you time to reflect on the beauty around you . Although I do like hearing Morgan talk regarding plans - I think it’s great to have this version once in awhile. I really did enjoy it !, 👏👏👏👏
Morgan, the new barn structure is beautiful. I confess I do love the "weird" chickens moment of Zen. Lady Abbyington sure enjoys running alongside you, as you ride your e-bike up to the cattle herd. It seems Amanda Hugginkiss likes her solitude. Its great to see everyone and Allison's kitchen garden, too. Take care!
That is weird cow's are herd animals I used to have a hobby farm where I rescued a boy cow off of a dairy farm and after 1 year of him thinking he was a sheep then cat then dog then moping I rescued another cow a pretty girl and those two were inseparable
@@andrewsimckes5748 Morgan said once he thinks Amanda has still not been accepted into the original herd, she's the odd girl out. Maybe it will change with her calf being out with them. He also said some cows tend to separate themselves from the herd when ready to calve.
I still can not believe that I've found this video, it is truly an enormous luck. It gives you so much so much to think about and calm your mind down at the same time: what a miracle. Slow pace of life of farm is just charming, but it will be inevitable for normal big city-people to let their souls relax a little bit, that's what frustrating. It is a heaven on earth, I nearly cried, frankly speaking I shed dozens of tears... I was touched by the fact that you give them all names, that you treat them so kindly. A very cautious and gentle man - rarity in modern world. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Beautiful video. Sounds, sights and rhythms of the farm. The foggy day makes it even more peaceful and soothing to watch. Like how you are letting Toby model good behavior with the baby birds. Abby is learning. Thanks for this video!
@@mockingjayemd4459 could be, probably is. But the light is not colored like it usually is when we have bad wildfire smoke. I know this was filmed a couple weeks ago at least, because Amanda hadn't calved yet. But you're probably right.
My 15 month old LOVED this video so much. She was mesmerized by seeing how the real farm animals look. She was even singing the Old Macdonald song. Thank you for this video!
I love seeing how excited the animals get to see you, you clearly have a bond with them all. Your everyday chores and jobs are daily things for you Morgan. For us it's like going on an adventure, and likely one we will never experience in real life.
It was a real treat to enjoy the farm from your perspective, Morgan. No jets flying overhead, no cars or trucks racing down the road. Just the bucolic sounds of nature; grass rustling, baby geese chirping, pigs snorting, macho man mooing, you talking to your animals, them talking back. The peace de resistance: frogs swimming and croaking in the night, in the pond that you created for them, from the eggs you protected from the birds. Your reward: a nightly symphony of the life you facilitated because nothing says farm and country like the wildlife that emerges from the pond, on a warm summer night in the month of June. Peace, from Green-Eyed Lady.
I grew up with my grandmother in 🇰🇪, Kenya, Mukurweini Nyeri. These are the sounds I would wake upto for most of my life. Now at 30 years and living in cold and depressed Sweden 🇸🇪 with my family, I desperately want to have my children experience what peace and tranquility I had while growing up. Thank you for this video❤
This is my 19 month old son’s favorite movie. We’ve watched it just about every day for the last month and he is just as engrossed now as he was the first day. We LOVE this video ❤
So glad to see that the tadpoles became adult frogs. Congratulations! Yah! All the cows will get a chance to mingle next week. It was so good to see the wife and garden. Please say hello to her for me. Thanks! Prayers for health and safety.🙏❤🙏
I grew up in this situation. My father is still a farmer. So beautiful life. Now, after I graduate from college and live in a crowded city and huge traffic environment, I feel like we all need such a calm, natural, and beautiful life ❤ Thank you for sharing your story with us
Very nice and soothing video. I loved everything but especially the moment with Abby standing among the cows in the green pasture with the pretty and dainty looking yellow flowers. Reminds me of portrait. Thank you Morgan for sharing yourself with us your hopes and dreams coming true in a beautiful farm and a productive yet meaningful life. It brings back memories of youth when I was able to be in the countryside away from busy Boston in the summertime. Those are wonderful memories you brought back to me. Thank you for such nostalgic gift. Keep on doing what you do the best, being creative and humane in your farm life.
Those summertime memories are what me move "up country" from Boston when I was 23. My career allowed me to move around quite a bit (VT, USAF 20yrs, Midwest, Europe etc) and everywhere I compared it to HOME! Home always won……. I’ve been retired now for 17 years and I’m glued to this place, every quiet moment of it. From NH, Patricia 👵🏻 😊
Me and my little boy sit and watch this video every morning while he has his breakfast. He is 1 1/2 years old and absolutely loves it. He chuckled so much after you fed the geese and ducks and they start jumping in the water to have a bath. Thank you for making these videos they light up my morning, watching his little face, smiling so much.
Growing up in New York City, I've never spent a day at a farm and I don't know what farm life is like. Thank you for showing the world moments of life on your farm. I found this so educational, peaceful, and intriguing.
This is a wonderful "moment of zen" video. Just the sound of the farm and your daily routine... You're a very good orator, Morgan, but every now and then a peaceful video of farm life - like this - really adds to the variety of the channel. 👍🦆🐔🐮 PS. Nicely shot and cut too.
This style video is my all time favorite. I grew up on a farm and sometimes you miss the peace. I’m glad you have videos where you talk because it spreads awareness, but man I wish you did more like this. When I feel trapped, or nostalgic, or need to calm down whatever it may be just hearing you work and the sound of the animals no commentary really brings your back and calms me down.
I love this style of shooting Morgan and its so nice and soothing to see the day life of the farm and how you go about it all. It's truely beautiful. You look amazingly peaceful at times. You can tell this is your life's passion. Much love to you all. Xx
This was fantastic! Let the animals and the infrastructure tell the Story from the Farm! Beautiful. From the Farmer and his wife to the dogs to the birds to the piggily wigglies to the cows, to the cats, to the wildlife, and even the trees, the pond, the garden, the pastures, and the barn -- you're all All Stars. I love all your animals. They’re such rich and distinctive personalities. Two of my favorite chickens are the Punk Twins with their white bodies and black floppy top knots. I’ve never seen that type of bird before. There are so many varieties within each species, it’s amazing. Thanks for teaching us about different aspects of farm life, joys and hard times, and for letting us share the beauty and ambience as you go through your day. 🎉❤

The otherworldlyness of the farm on a foggy summer morning is breathtaking. It looked like your farm bike was going to suddenly run into Rod Serling as he talked about the rest of your day.
This the best thing ever. My toddler absolutely loves farms/farm animals. He is 17 months. He sat still and watched and I couldn't more thankful! I got a good laugh at some great animal names, and loved the kindness you show to your animals. Thank you from an exhausted stay at home mom and a very intrigued toddler!!
🐕 Sookie loved all the different sounds. She kept cocking her head then run to the other side of the speaker when you said "Good girl Abby" 😅 We enjoyed your video very much. 🙋🏼♀️🐈🐕
Wow Morgan! I loved this! Don't get me wrong, I adore your usual videos where you talk to the camera or do voice overs, but this style was a delight. Watching you and the farm residents go about your day had this incredible ASMR-like quality that I couldn't get enough of. I would love if you continue to make the occasional video like this (apologies if you have before, I must have missed them). While I was watching, I kept thinking to myself, "How on earth did he resist talking to the camera?" Hahaha, must have been tough! Keep up the great work!
Thank you for this 33 minute moment of zen, that I didn't even realize how much I needed. I think sometimes some of us forget how healing it is to listen to long stretches of nature's silence & noises. Also, the segment with Macho Man discovering the brush was so good! We appreciate you Morgan. *happy sigh*

I love how you included the parts like with Allison throwing her food away and you almost slipping. This truly is a real, genuine video of a day in the life of a small farm!
One of your best videos. Your editing and story telling on video has gotten better over time. Your looking amazing farm life sure seems to suit you very well.
Today's video elicited exceptional responses from Horatio, my sheltie who has never visited a farm. He was intensely taken by the weird chickens and barked at them until their segment was over.

The dedicated work the two of you put into this is much appreciated! Hearing what you hear when you work is interesting! Love all your animals! Seeing your farm vids bring much joy!
It's not that I don't like the videos where you talk, I'm a total fan, but I LOOOOVE the real-sounds no talking version! You had done another one a while back. No music, no talking, so nice. There's a TH-camr country life vlog in Azerbaijan who show what they do, no comments; it's lovely.
My 18 month old loved your video of your day to day life with your animals. This is now her favorite video. Thank you for sharing your life on the farm.
First!! Morgan! Wanted to wish you, Allison, the doggos, the farm cats, the duck-e-ri-do's, the geese, chickens, weird chickens, cattle, piggies and baby birds a very great summer!! I always smile when I see a new video uploaded from the farm!!
Love that you are going small and taking everything. One step at a time in making quality of life meaningful. It is fantastic that everybody on your property has a name
My almost 3 y-o loves this video! She has limited options for screen time snd this by far is her favorite! We drove past some cows and she said, "Look, momma! Its Macho Man!" Thank you for sharing your life with the world!
I've always appreciated that the cays get their personalities shown. Many farmers on TH-cam don't talk about them. But they are very much a part of life.
I loved that video. But I didn’t know you were raising a new group 😃. Your army of frogs is getting much bigger. I love the sounds from your pond makes at night. The whole video was peaceful thanks for sharing
I strive to grow just like you, Gold Shaw farms! It sure does take time, but we are starting with a little less than 2 acres! Doing everything we can to stay positive and have fun!
My 1 1/2 year old son loves this video. We just found it yesterday and we're currently watching for the 3rd time. He can't focus long enough yet to watch the old thing, but he asked to watch each time. Not sure you meant to me children's entertainment.
🌾Soo relaxing, just what I needed! I’ve never seen a presentation from you like this, I have to admit I really really enjoyed it! I could close my eyes and visualize your farm chores each morning and it just bring such peace…🕊

i enjoyed this . Got to see what you do on the farm every day. You should do more like this. The new barn came out great. Now a inside tour of it. Thanks Morgan. You have really transformed your farm from the beginning of this adventure..
This is such a good ASMR video, I´m gonna rewatch it a lot before going to bed. This made me rally feel very relaxed, so thanks a lot. I love your videos, so please stay making them, as long as possible. Greetings from germany ^^
"I admire your spirit and vision to turn 150 acres into a regenerative and productive farm! This is not just a project, but also a story about the connection between people and nature, sustainability and the desire to build a better future. Your sharing will definitely inspire many people to start their journey with land and plants! Looking forward to every step of this farm's development 💚🌱."
I aspire to have a life like this after I graduate college. I want a slow morning life with animals and greenery. I love this. This gave me motivation not to give up with my university. Thank you.
Tranquility is the perfect word for this video. The serene visuals and peaceful sounds have a soothing effect on the viewers. Thank you for providing thirty minutes of visible calm and relaxation.
I was able to give my kids almost a decade on 20 acres of farm life... You captured it beautifully. If I had the ability to do it again, I would save myself the work @04:30 and would have installed a bio filtration system on a pond with an island in the center. A drawbridge would keep foxes, raccoons and cats off the island (the stolen eggs) and suspended bird netting keeps them safe from birds of prey and herons. You are doing a great job, may you enjoy balance on your farm. Thank you for sharing this with us.
This is the perfect video of its kind. You didn't make it about yourself, just the animals. You didn't fill it with selfies, narration, music, other distractions by which so many other makers of "animal" videos ruin them. A whole lot of people could learn a whole lot from you! Kudos! Beautiful little movie!
Hello family, here for the fun and stories. Edit: I as typing as I heard at the beginning "Hello Sweetheart" thought you were addressing Allison for a second. Just a reminder not sweethearts are human. I am the exactly the same way and talk like that to my "extended" family..Edit edit: While going to to the ducks and geese either Toby or Abby looked at back at the camera like does this shot make my butt look to big.😂
I believe Joey needs to go with his sisters to elevate this problem, and give Randy the space to be the alpha male cow. It will also make Belinda, and Bonny less anxiety ridden and lonely.
Digging the format of this video Mr. Gold. I think it's nice to just hear how alive the farm is during your daily chores. Edit: Not all the time of course! I remembered seeing those eggs outside the farm and was wondering what was up with that? Or did I see that wrong? (Edit for last name Sorry!)
This farming tutorial is so helpful and practical! I learned many effective techniques for planting and taking care of crops from you. I’ll definitely apply them right away. I hope you release more videos on other agricultural skills. I’ll be following your channel regularly to learn more
Now that the ducks are running out in the pasture, perhaps you should train your dogs/one of your dogs to scout duck eggs for you. I think its possible to make dogs help you find them without harming the eggs.
One word for this video, Tranquility. The scenes and sounds give a calming effect to the viewers. Thank you for presenting a half hour of visible peacefulness.

The dedicated work the two of you put into this is much appreciated! Hearing what you hear when you work is interesting! Love all your animals! Seeing your farm vids bring much joy!
Wow, this video is amazing! The content is engaging, and the visuals are stunning. You did a fantastic job. Keep up the excellent work!
The new barn looks incredible. You must be over the moon excited about it.

And the Academy award for best Zen picture goes to... Gold Shaw Farm! Thanks for sharing your day-to-day. Aloha
Always a joy to watch you doing chores and seeing all the animals. Take Care Morgan. Peace Out
A wonderful farm with green grass and cows that don't have to worry about going hungry, thank you for sharing this wonderful space.
Love to see you feeding Toby and Abby....🐾💚💜 Beautiful barn 🏡
Love that you are going small and taking everything. One step at a time in making quality of life meaningful. It is fantastic that everybody on your property has a name
Incredibly peaceful. Every moment is a Zen moment.
Hello 👋🏻
My almost 3 y-o loves this video! She has limited options for screen time snd this by far is her favorite! We drove past some cows and she said, "Look, momma! Its Macho Man!" Thank you for sharing your life with the world!
Absolutely loved the ambience, that was so well edited, probably my favourite slice of the farm.
11:44 Game of Thrones reference. My favorite character. "Shame!"😊😊❤
Oh, man. The PERFECT video, audibly and visually. Such a nice experience!
The sounds of the farm and some wildlife was quite enjoyable. Definitely heard some crows in the distance as a bonus.
33 minutes of relaxation. That was super nice. Thank you! :)
Fellow Vermonter here! Love your video, and so glad the first video to pop up upon searching “day in the life on a farm” is a VT farm! Awesome to see our little state represented in such a beautifully authentic way. Thanks again for sharing and just wanted to say I enjoyed!
Hi from Uzbekistan 🇺🇿. Thank you for sharing
Loved the frogs at the end, they look like they’re enjoying having the pond all to themselves! 🐸
Are used to watch a Videos with my mom two years ago she passed away. But I just love watching your videos and how much joy it brings me specially, this one is just beautiful. Thank you so much.
Love the farm sounds intro, not to mention a happy running Abby dog.
Great video, especially the part at 3:15-super informative!
i enjoyed this .
I'm really enjoying these longer videos, Morgan
I aspire to have a life like this after I graduate college. I want a slow morning life with animals and greenery. I love this. This gave me motivation not to give up with my university. Thank you.
There’s something about Morgan and Abby heading off across the lush pasture into the thick fog- what a scene.
Tranquility is the perfect word for this video. The serene visuals and peaceful sounds have a soothing effect on the viewers. Thank you for providing thirty minutes of visible calm and relaxation.
This view into your life was amazing.
So serene and so comforting!
Thank you Morgan and Allison for sharing this glimpse!
This is what heaven looks like. Happy big family, multispecis family 😊😊😊😊
It is so cute seeing morgan trying not to give attention to the camera😂
The new barn is looking so good! This style of video is so nice and peaceful, thanks for sharing your day with us :]
The scenery is so beautiful, I wish I could come there once and the two dogs are so adorable
It’s been a wild ride to watch the farm grow!
Morgan, have you thought about making a ramp for the wierd chickens and of the ladder? They don't like the ladder I'm thinking.
I believe Joey needs to go with his sisters to elevate this problem, and give Randy the space to be the alpha male cow. It will also make Belinda, and Bonny less anxiety ridden and lonely.
Thank you so much for sharing. My 18 month old daughter loves this video and all the animals especially Toby and Abby. We have watched it many times.
Gold is his last name. Shaw was the previous owner's name I think
Morgan and Allison Gold bought the old Shaw farm and has renamed it the Gold Shaw Farm.
Toby already does this. Don't know about abby
