I use the TUL calendar and ink doesn’t bleed through. I purchased Erin Condren Monthly Adhesive Tabs from Amazon because I need a tab. It has been a great system. I use the TUL elements notebook and have been pleased with how well it looks and feels.
Wow! I felt too indulgent to own more than two of these and seeing your collection makes me rethink that. I love the idea of using one for Bible study! I'm def going back to get the one I fell in love with and wasn't going to buy since I just invested in Happy Planner stuff. Great, informative video. Thank you!
This is so informative! I like how you clearly explained the ease of interchanging ARC, Happy Planner and Levenger. I was hoping to see the TUL as well as indicated in your video title.
Apologies for not going in depth for the TUL format/design of monthly pages; after finding disappoint in the paper quality and absence of monthly tabs, I didn't delve any further.
Thanks so much for answering the question I've long been searching for! Showing how interchangeable these products are was exactly what I was looking to see. Really appreciate it! Love seeing how you use it all together.
THANK YOU! This is the video I've been looking for all morning. I really want to use certain covers, discs, spreads from all these different Brands but wanted to make sure they were interchangeable. 👍👍👍
Marcell Hobbs thanks! One last thing....does the Happy Planner cover fit with the Tul paper? If so, which size? The junior or full sheet? Im thinking of making a notebook with my HP covers using Tul paper. Will this work? I have a regular HP...not the small or larger one.
Ashlee Norton-Ilori No, I already tried that. You could if you cut your HP cover down to fit the junior size paper. This would be possible if the pattern or design allowed a resize. The HP big has 11 discs, the classic (yours) has 9 discs, and the mini has 7 discs. The ARC, TUL, and Levenger junior sizes have 8 discs. It’s not a perfect match.
Marcell Hobbs this is super helpful! I think im gonna go the cheapo route and start from scratch and make my own covers. The buy the potable levenger punch and tul paper. Thank you!
This is one of the best reviews of all 3 disc bound systems I've seen. I've been looking for months! Thank God you made this video! I do have a few questions though. I know that some people say that some hole punches make the holes arch not that big and sometimes the papers get stuck or a bit hard to push over. The only punch review I've seen without this problem is the Levenger. Would you recommend the Levenger punch and then customize with whatever system I choose? My second question is what punch did you use for your laminated covers?
The Levenger punch makes holes deeper than the ARC punch. While they are both the same width, the Levenger has a more rounded top. I did use the ARC punch for my laminated pages simply because it is more of a heavy duty punch. I think the Levenger punch is more universal because it gives more depth to the holes, but this would not be an issue if you do not use Levenger discs. I have the small portable Levenger punch that I carry in my teacher tote so that I can add pages throughout the day. The large ARC punch is perfect for a home, office, desk punch - too heavy to carry. I am so glad this info was a benefit to you. Blessings.
THEY DO NOT ALL WORK INTERCHANGEABLY! unless you can live with sloppy alignments. They all have different shroom stem margin and shroom head size so pages will hang, or not line up... Do your homework!
hi. so just to clarify - levenger, arc, tul and mamby are all compatible with each others' holes? so if you get a hole punch for one, it will work for all the binders? thanks and great vid!
jin choung Yes! Since making this video, I have purchased the MAMBI big punch to keep in my classroom for use with my big teacher planner, while carrying the Levenger portable punch in my tote. I have punched and used the pages, punches, and discs interchangeably.
dont you happen to have the happy planner puncher? cause i have the puncher and when i use Arc discs with that paper it doesnt slide well :/ if its arc paper on HP discs its amazing but HP paper on arc discs isnt :(
I have purchased the HP punch since making this video, but I returned it as I thought it was redundant and not beneficial. I was able to incorporate my pages with minimal punch systems. I hope you find an inexpensive and productive way to incorporate the disc system.
@@MarcellHobbs thank you! its just that arc discs are the ones i have easy access to, but arc puncher is very expensive! :( just trying to find a cheaper puncher, i got the HP puncher but it doesnt work amazingly, and the discs arent easy to buy for me :/
The Dark Choices Good news! The HP discs are the most inexpensive @$4.99 a set without the 40% coupon. The ARC discs could be $20/set. You you streamline to HP products.
@@MarcellHobbs yes but the arc discs i can buy on staples store, the HP discs are only 4 bucks but its a 9 rings set, 11 discs are sold in 66 discs set for 20 bucks, and its only online without shipping from a spanish store :/ and also i have some books that the size are perfect for the big arc size discs, the HP discs have 3 sizes, but the Medium is too small for them, but XL is too big :/
Thank you for sharing the information. I've only used planners with thicker, or heavier, paper. What type of writing instruments have you used? How does it hold up with Flair or other markers?

Sorry, the only reference made to the TUL planner starts at 5:30. Due to the quality of the product, I did not use the planner insert and it needed tabs. I continued my search for better products. It was a waste of money. Later, I was even unsuccessful at giving it away for free.
Very helpful. Thank you!
You are so welcome! Blessings❣️

Casey Webb Thank you for sharing valuable information of your true experience❣️ Just for reference, what type of ink or pen do you use?
I have used many different brands. Uni-ball vision, TUL pens, papermate flair, pilot V5, and the TUL highlighters
Casey Webb Thanks! I am familiar with the Uni ball, Pilot, and Papermate flair. I do use Frixion erasable and Mildliner highlighters as my favorites!

Just Heather You are quite welcome! My intention was to inform others of possibilities within the disc system. Thank you for watching❣️
Thank you! So I can use my HP binder with Tul paper?
Ashlee Norton-Ilori Yes, I interchange Happy Planner with my other discbound products.

This is awesome. I was so worry when I brought my TUL disk that I won’t be able to use other brand’s punch or already prep paper
Glad the info was useful to you! Thanks for watching❣️
Thanks for all this! I love happy planner but am looking for a new punch and discs !
Erin Hockaday I do hope you find ARC discs and products. When I first purchased mine, I lived rural and purchased mine online.

You are so welcome. Enjoy assembling your planner.
I have also printed my own lined paper and punched it myself on high end paper
chanel113 Awesome! You are using the flexibility and creativity aspect of the disc system very well!
THEY DO NOT ALL WORK INTERCHANGEABLY! unless you can live with sloppy alignments.
They all have different shroom stem margin and shroom head size
so pages will hang, or not line up...
Do your homework!
I purchased all three brands of punches and rings and satisfactorily used interchangeably. Homework, experience, and research done!
so much very useful info. thank you!

Hello from a fellow Marcell and planner girl!
ladieebee92 Hello! Nice to meet you 😇
I was hoping to see or hear about Tul in this video

@@MarcellHobbs I love the TUL product but it is so expensive so thanks for this video! Also, the TUL paper i have is very thick and great quality!
